This company set off my bs detector when I received a letter stating that I was pre-approved for a platinum card and all I had to do was send in a $37 fee. I have never heard of a credit card company that requires you to send them money for a card so I looked them up online.
The icing on the cake for me was reading the rebuttal on the report before mine that is apparently from someone with the company. He is apparently in Ft. Worth and he says that anyone can contact the company directly at a Fort Worth number. However, their website gives their address as being in Dallas and it gives a Dallas phone number. It just seems strange to me that someone who is with the company can't even give a consistent phone number.
Don't give your money to these people.
