Mike Rausch lied about loan rates and costs, rude, failed to deliver loan at closing time Ripoff

Amerimax contacted me after I expressed interest in one of their loan products (5 year ARM interest only). (Spoke to Greg Remson) 6 weeks prior to closing and got a quote—no points, no orig fees, no mortgage insurance (they said they could beat the loan quote I already had from another lender).

Mike Rausch subsequently took over my loan application—again, agreeing to the terms above—specifically, no PMI—he actually sent me a good faith estimate stating exactly this. (I found out later—after missing my closing date due to Amerimax's procrastination and unprofessionalism, that this loan package was never an option). 3 business days prior to closing, he asked to verify my employment (I've been with the military for 17 years and they had all the documents). Then he made up excuses (like processing problems, underwriting problems, escrow problems, etc) why he couldn't get the loan numbers to the title company or to me to verify that it was correct. He also cussed out my realtor using the words "f*er" and "son of a bitch" multiple times.

On the day (10: AM) of closing—still had no numbers. Multiple calls to Amerimax resulted in no answers, telephone messages, "on the phone", or "not there". The title company even called the "source" but couldn't get any answers. They spoke to someone named Steve Taylor who apparently had multiple different roles—at one point the "lender", the "processor", or "in another office". I sat at the table with the seller, the title company, the realtor and were told that the numbers would be there in 2 hours—we waited all day—no numbers came by close of business at 5:30PM. The seller had to catch a plane out of town that afternoon and left without closing on his home. We had to cancel closing.

We kept trying to get a hold of someone at Amerimax and Mike Rausch said "why are you calling me about this", "you need to speak with Alex the processor". I spoke with Alex who said he was everything "I'm thelender and the processor" and "Mike Rausch is a 'loan representative'".

To make a long story short the company lied about the loan package, failed to meet a deadline for closing, was very unprofessional in their conduct, is difficult to work with, use alias names (as far as we can tell), and should never be trusted by anyone.
