America's Servicing Company purchased my note 1 year ago. I fell behind on the payments, they wanted work out a loan remodification with me, I agreed and the person told me send certain documents in and they would send me out information. I never received the information and I sent them the documentation they requested 2 times via US Mail. I made the mistake of not getting delivery or signature confirmation. I have made several attempts to call into the loss mitigation department and with be on hold from 45 minutes to 2hrs and still not getting thru.
I have talked to several different people and each and everyone has told me something different. I was told that I would have an answer within 30 days, it still hasn't come and I send them a large sum of money to start the process and have made each payment since. The payments were showing in the suspence account, the large sum to start the process was not credited to the back balance due. The payments since are also in the suspence account.
I came home Friday, April 29th to a guy at my house saying that he wanted to know when we were going to move because my house was sold. How can they take payments and foreclose with any legal notices what so ever.
These people are crooks and need to be stopped. I have been trying to find out any everything about these scamers and was horrified to read I am not alone. I can't do anything until Monday, May 2nd to see what is going on. I hope an attorney can roll the sale backward if they have broken laws. From what I have researched they have. I will give up without a fight and would like to get any and everyone involved in a law suit against this company. Hard working, people are being unfairly tossed out of their homes. I am scared to death, but it is going to take everyone who has been abused by these crooks to bring them down. Not just one at a time. Strength is in the numbers.
