I placed two dogs on puppy find under irish setter dogs. A girl named Kimberly listed 3 dogs. A girl named Cathy contacted Kimberly regarding her dogs and determined Kimberly was not forthcoming but fraudlent. Cathy posted on puppy find BEWARE from buying puppies or dogs from someone not stating her name that will not produce a pedigree or health certificates. I commented on Cathys posting an applause for revealing a fraudlent breeder. Kimberly called my home and cussed me out telling me to check Cathy out she was a puppy mill. I did check Cathy out and she is NOT a puppy mill but rather an exhibitor and small breeder for boxer dogs. Cathy contacted me thanking me for my statement. Cathy gave me her website. Kimberly the fraudlent breeder called all the breeders listed under irishsetters and told them to not sell a dog to Cathy. I left a bad review under Kimberlys site. Kimberly took her dog off the puppyfind site because the bad review was published and posted a BEWARE add stating Clarissa King from Colorado is a puppy mill and breeds sick puppies. This is harmful slander because I am a long time member of the irish setter club of AMerica and have bred and exhibited champion irish setter dogs of record and also on record I have bred only 1 litter every two or more years. I am not a puppy mill and I do NOT breed sick dogs. Kimberly is desperate to sell her dogs and will go to any means to do so and lashes out against anyone who reveals her fraudlent practices. I am also in contact with Co legislators regarding passing a bill regulating puppy mills. Puppy find is a fault because they do not screen any postings. A couple of weeks ago a irish setter posting contained a picture that was published on a calendar and on mouse pads. I told puppy find I would contact e-bay and tell the person selling the mouse pads that a fraudlent advertiser on puppy find is using their dogs pic stating that dog is the sire of their pups when indeed he was not. They did remove that pic but only after I threatned them with contacting e-bay. Puppy find doesnt care who puts an add on their sites as long as they pay them a fee to become a member of their site. I feel prospective buyers should go to parent clubs and buy from a reuptible breeder because in irish setters most are either back yard breeders, puppy mills or similar. They should contact AKC and AKC will put buyers in contact with parent clubs who breed for the betterment of the breed not just two dogs together. I wish something could be done making puppy find screen the advertizers. Everyone help!!!
