Wsup AI
Wsup AI (wsup.ai) is an AI character-chat app whose Apple App Store seller is Game.tv Inc., with a developer address in Campbell, California shown on Google Play. On September 30, 2026, wsup.ai redirected to now.gg and the App Store and Google Play listings described the latest release as final ("Final update." and "Final release"); the Wsup URLs linked from the store listings redirected to now.gg. Looking for wsup.ai? What the sources show and where to take a billing or data question
Wsup AI is the name of an AI character-chat app listed on the Apple App Store and Google Play as “wsup.ai.” The App Store names Game.tv Inc. as its Seller. When we opened the app’s web address, https://wsup.ai/, on September 30, 2026, it redirected to the home page of now.gg, a game site, and the Terms, Privacy Policy and About links that the App Store listing points to (wsup.ai/tnc?tab=privacyPolicy and wsup.ai/about-us) redirected there too. Both store listings were still online: the App Store shows version 0.0.75, released May 21, 2026, with the release note “Final update.”, and Google Play’s “What’s new” says “Final release.”
The Wsup URLs that the store listings link to for the website and the privacy policy redirected to now.gg on September 30, 2026, and no Wsup-specific terms or data-deletion instructions were available at those URLs, so this page does not quote any Wsup AI refund, cancellation, auto-renewal or minimum-age term. Google Play labels the app “In-app purchases”; the App Store page shows “Free.” What Apple and Google themselves publish for purchases made through their stores:
- Charged through Apple: Apple says that some purchases “might be eligible for a refund,” and to request one, sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, tap or click “I’d like to,” choose “Request a refund,” choose the reason, then choose the app, subscription or other item and submit. Apple adds: “If Apple approves your request, it might take additional time for the funds to return to your payment method.” (Apple Support, “Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple.”)
- Charged through Google Play: Google’s policy states: “Google doesn’t give refunds for most Google Play purchases. However, there are exceptions detailed below.” It continues: “Within 48 hours: You may be able to get a refund depending on the details of the purchase” and “After 48 hours: Contact the developer to troubleshoot and find out if you can get a refund.”
- Developer contact: the Google Play listing shows the support email [email protected] and, under “About the developer,” Game.tv Inc., [email protected], an address in Campbell, California and a phone number shown with the country code +91 (88003 92056). We did not write to either email address or call the number, so we cannot say whether they are monitored, and the number is not identified on the listing as a support line.
- Paid another way: we did not find any page on which Wsup AI itself takes payments (the website no longer loads), so we cannot say how a direct card payment would be handled; the merchant name on your statement or receipt shows who billed you.
- If your receipt shows a now.gg order (conditional): now.gg’s developer documentation says: “If you have integrated now.gg Payments module with your app/game, any refunds for in-app purchase orders must be processed as illustrated below.” It continues that the user “has to contact us at [email protected] with the orderId of the purchase. The orderId will be available within the purchase receipt generated after payment,” that now.gg will “verify the orderId,” may “also verify with the developer if the refund should be processed,” and, once verified, “will process the refund back to the original payment source.” This is documentation addressed to app developers. We found nothing establishing that Wsup AI purchases used now.gg Payments, and we did not contact [email protected]; it is relevant only if your receipt names a now.gg order ID.
- Before you contact anyone: keep your receipts, purchase history and screenshots of any credit balance. In the sources checked on September 30, 2026 we found no Wsup-specific refund policy, no statement about unused credits and no shutdown refund program. Neither the Apple nor the Google route guarantees a refund; eligibility depends on the applicable store policy and the details of the purchase.
- Subscriptions: we could not confirm from a company page that Wsup AI offered subscriptions, so check the subscription lists in both your Apple account and Google Play, and keep a confirmation of any cancellation. Google adds: “When you uninstall an app, your subscription won’t cancel.”
- Data: deleting the app from a device, cancelling a store subscription and asking the developer to delete account data are separate actions, and the sources we checked do not say that any one of them completes another. Google Play’s Data safety section says “You can request that data be deleted,” but we found no working deletion page, in-app procedure, response deadline or data-export option for Wsup AI. The support email is a documented contact, not a verified deletion procedure; keep a copy of anything you send.
A separate website, wsupai.app, presents itself as “WSUP AI” and, by its own account, is a different, independent service rather than the wsup.ai app described above. In a blog post dated July 30, 2026, wsupai.app says it is a “new, independently operated platform,” that it is “not affiliated with the former wsup.ai service or its owners,” and that accounts, purchases, characters and conversation histories from the former platform “have not transferred.” The same post says the former service announced a wind-down in May 2026, with chats available through May 24, read-only access from May 25 through June 18, and closure on June 19. We did not identify who operates wsupai.app and did not find the original announcement from the company, so we cannot confirm those dates.
Who is listed as publisher of Wsup AI, what the stores say, and the shared address with now.gg
Seller and developer named in the stores. The App Store listing “wsup.ai – Chat with AI Characters” (category Entertainment) shows Seller Game.tv Inc., developer “game.tv,” and the copyright line “© 2024 game.tv”; Apple’s lookup service gives an initial release date of October 29, 2025. The Google Play listing (package ai.wsup.app.android) names the developer “game-tv” with the address 2105 S Bascom Ave, Ste 380, Campbell, CA 95008. We did not check a state corporate registry record for Game.tv Inc., so this is the store-listed seller and developer, not a confirmed registered operator of the app.
What the company’s store text says. “wsup.ai lets you connect, chat, and create relationships with hundreds of AIs that feel alive — each with its own voice, memory, and personality.” Listed features include chatting with several characters at once, creating and customizing AI characters, and “Your AIs remember details from your chats.” The listing also states: “AI-generated responses may be inaccurate.”
Age labels. The App Store page shows “AGE RATING 18+.” Google Play shows “Teen” with “Diverse Content: Discretion Advised.” These are store ratings; no Wsup-specific minimum-age term was available at the Wsup URLs linked from the listings.
Data declarations (made by the developer in each store; we did not verify actual practices). On the Google Play Data safety page, which Google labels as information the developer provided, the developer says “No data shared with third parties” and declares that the app may collect app info and performance (crash logs and diagnostics), personal info (email address, user IDs, other info), photos, approximate location, app activity (app interactions, other user-generated content, other actions), and device or other IDs; it adds “Data is encrypted in transit” and “You can request that data be deleted.” The main Google Play listing summarizes this as “Location, Personal info and 4 others.” The App Store’s App Privacy section, which Apple says “has not been verified by Apple,” lists location, identifiers, usage data and diagnostics under “Data Used to Track You,” and location, contact info, user content, identifiers, usage data and diagnostics under “Data Linked to You.” The two stores’ declarations are worded differently.
Credits in the app. Apple’s version history for the listing shows the developer’s note for version 0.0.73 (April 21, 2026): “Plus, we added Transaction History so you always know where your credits went.” The note for version 0.0.75 (May 21, 2026) is “Final update.” The 0.0.73 note is the developer’s own statement that the app had credits; it does not say whether credits could be refunded or whether they expired.
Shared address and the relationship to now.gg. The Campbell address shown on the Google Play listing is also the address that now.gg, Inc. publishes on its About page and in its Terms of Use (effective September 20, 2024). Those Terms refer to “our related game.tv app and platform.” A now.gg press release dated June 3, 2021 (distributed by GlobeNewswire with now.gg as the source) says: “Headquartered in Silicon Valley, now.gg shares a parent company with game.tv, the world’s No. 1 mobile esports platform, and BlueStacks, the largest Android gaming platform on PC.” Neither document names Game.tv Inc. or Wsup AI, and the game.tv Terms of Use (effective December 21, 2021), which describe a contract with “game.tv, Inc.” for its esports app, do not mention wsup.ai. The exact legal-entity relationship between Game.tv Inc. and now.gg, Inc. was not established from the records reviewed, and the parent company is not named in those documents. We note the shared address and the redirect of wsup.ai to now.gg as facts, and we do not treat the now.gg Terms as Wsup AI’s terms.
Complaints and reviews found for Wsup AI
No complaints about Wsup AI or Game.tv Inc. had been published on this site as of September 30, 2026. On other services, in the searches we ran that day:
- Trustpilot: the address trustpilot.com/review/wsup.ai returned “The page you’re looking for could not be found.” when opened on September 30, 2026. A Trustpilot search for “wsup” listed a company “WSUP AI” at wsupai.app with 0.00 reviews (the website described above, which calls itself independent), and a search for “game.tv” opened an unclaimed profile named “Game” for www.game.tv with 0 reviews. We did not identify a Trustpilot page for wsup.ai; absence from Trustpilot is not evidence either way about the business.
- BBB: in BBB name searches run on September 30, 2026, we did not identify a listing for Game.tv, Wsup AI or now.gg. The search for “Game.tv” showed 3 results (Gue.tv, GameTZ, Gamett King & Company); for “wsup” (31 results) and “now.gg” (13 results) we viewed only the top results on the first page, which were other businesses. Absence from BBB results is likewise not evidence either way about the business.
- App-store reviews (individual review excerpts; unverified statements): an April 3 App Store review says messages were often blocked as “not allowed even if it’s nothing harmful”; a May 15 App Store review says “The credit system seems to require more and more to do the same LLM”; a Google Play review dated July 1, 2026 says “This app closed down several weeks ago, yet it’s still on Google Play Store.” Earlier reviews were positive, for example an App Store review dated 10/31/2025 titled “Amazing Characters 100% Free” that says “No Ads and No IAP.”
Apple’s U.S. listing displayed 4.5 out of 5 and 114 ratings when checked on September 30, 2026, and Google Play showed 10K+ downloads. These are each store’s own figures at that date and are not combined here.
Is Wsup AI Legitimate?
The Apple App Store names Game.tv Inc. as the Seller of the wsup.ai app, and the Google Play listing names Game.tv Inc. as developer, with a Campbell, California address that is also published by now.gg, Inc. We did not check a corporate registry record. The exact legal-entity relationship between Game.tv Inc. and now.gg, Inc. was not established from the records reviewed, but now.gg’s Terms describe game.tv as “related” and now.gg’s own June 3, 2021 press release says it “shares a parent company with game.tv.” As of September 30, 2026, the wsup.ai website redirected to now.gg, the Wsup URLs linked from the store listings for the website and privacy policy redirected there too, and both store listings describe the latest release as final. In the searches described above we did not identify a Trustpilot page for wsup.ai or a BBB listing for Game.tv or Wsup AI. Case-name searches of the CourtListener federal docket database on that date for “Game.tv,” “Game TV” and “wsup” and a full-text search for “wsup.ai” identified no case that we could connect to Wsup AI (one 1994 docket, International Family v. Game TV, Inc., appeared and was not connected); this is not a comprehensive litigation search. We did not obtain a working FTC or state attorney general search, so this page cannot say whether any such matter exists. This page assigns Wsup AI no rating; billing questions are best directed to the store that charged you, plus the developer contact shown on the store listing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Wsup AI?
The App Store and Google Play list “wsup.ai” as an AI character-chat app. Its store text says it lets users “connect, chat, and create relationships with hundreds of AIs that feel alive,” create their own characters, and chat with several characters at once. Its website, https://wsup.ai/, redirected to now.gg when we opened it on September 30, 2026.
Which company is listed as the seller of the Wsup AI app?
The Apple App Store lists Game.tv Inc. as the Seller of the wsup.ai app. The Google Play listing shows the developer name “game-tv” and the address 2105 S Bascom Ave, Ste 380, Campbell, CA 95008, which is also the address now.gg, Inc. publishes on its About page. The exact legal-entity relationship between Game.tv Inc. and now.gg, Inc. was not established from the records reviewed, although now.gg’s Terms call game.tv “related” and its June 3, 2021 press release says it “shares a parent company with game.tv.” We did not check a state registry record, so this is the store-listed seller, not a confirmed registered operator.
Is Wsup AI still available?
On September 30, 2026, wsup.ai redirected to now.gg, and the App Store and Google Play listings were still online with the notes “Final update.” (version 0.0.75, May 21, 2026) and “Final release.” Separately, the independent site wsupai.app says in a blog post dated July 30, 2026 that the former service announced a wind-down in May 2026 with closure on June 19; we did not find the company’s own announcement to confirm those dates.
How can I ask for a refund for Wsup AI credits or purchases?
We found no Wsup-specific refund policy. For a purchase billed by Apple, Apple says some purchases “might be eligible for a refund” and points to reportaproblem.apple.com (“Request a refund”); for Google Play, Google says it “doesn’t give refunds for most Google Play purchases,” with a 48-hour window in which “You may be able to get a refund,” after which the user is told to “Contact the developer.” Neither route guarantees a refund. If your receipt shows a now.gg order ID, now.gg’s developer documentation describes refunds by emailing [email protected] with that order ID; we found nothing establishing that Wsup AI purchases used now.gg Payments. The receipt or card statement shows who billed you; keep receipts and screenshots of any credit balance.
How do I cancel a Wsup AI subscription?
We could not confirm from a company page whether Wsup AI offered subscriptions; Google Play labels the app “In-app purchases.” If a subscription charge appears, cancel it with the store that bills it and keep the confirmation. Apple: Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap the subscription, then Cancel Subscription. Google Play: subscriptions in Google Play, Manage, then Cancel subscription; Google warns that “When you uninstall an app, your subscription won’t cancel.”
What age is Wsup AI rated for?
The App Store page shows “AGE RATING 18+,” and Google Play shows “Teen” with “Diverse Content: Discretion Advised.” Those are store ratings. The Wsup URLs linked from the store listings redirected to now.gg on September 30, 2026, so no Wsup-specific terms stating a minimum age or content rules were available at them.
How do I request deletion of my Wsup AI data?
Google Play’s Data safety section, which shows the developer’s own declarations, says “You can request that data be deleted.” The privacy policy linked from the store listings (wsup.ai/tnc?tab=privacyPolicy) redirected to now.gg on September 30, 2026, and we found no working deletion page, in-app procedure, response deadline or data-export option. The support email on the Google Play listing, [email protected], is a documented contact, not a verified deletion procedure; keep a copy of any request you send.
Is wsupai.app the same as wsup.ai?
wsupai.app describes itself as a separate service. In a blog post dated July 30, 2026 it says it is a “new, independently operated platform,” “not affiliated with the former wsup.ai service or its owners,” and that accounts, purchases and chat histories from the former platform “have not transferred.” We did not identify who operates wsupai.app.
Where can I report a problem with Wsup AI?
Start with the store that billed you (Apple’s Report a Problem page or Google Play’s refund request) and the support email on the Google Play listing. The FTC’s ReportFraud site invites people to “Report a scam, a company, or an unwanted call.”
