Vincent Exteriors reviews, complaints and insurance claims: what to check before signing (checked October 12, 2026)

Vincent Exteriors Inc. is an Elk Grove Village, Illinois company that describes itself as a roofing, siding, gutter, driveway, restoration and painting contractor and, through a separately named firm, a public adjuster. Many searchers arrive because they are comparing reviews, or because the company is working on a storm or insurance claim and they want to know what its paperwork says. The company's own documents and the Illinois agencies' consumer pages, as opened on October 12, 2026, say the following.

Contact channels the company publishes. Office 847-902-1558 and mobile 847-305-7145 (also the main number BBB lists), email [email protected], 250 Yarmouth Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. The contact page gives hours of 'Monday thru Friday: 8am to 8pm', 'Saturday: 8am to 5pm' and 'Sunday: 8am to 5pm'. BBB's complaint page shows the business answering both of its listed complaints.

Documents on the contact page. The site offers four downloads: a Right of Entry form, a Work Order, a 'Full Financial' interest disclosure and a 2026 Public Adjuster Contract. The Work Order says: 'All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices.' Its terms add that material selections 'must be finalized two (2) weeks prior to start date', that a homeowner who changes selections inside that window 'will be responsible for paying out of pocket for all restocking fees', and that 'Upon delivery of materials the first insurance check and deductible will be due and picked up by a Vincent Exteriors representative'. The remaining balance 'will be due immediately upon receipt from the insurance company'.

Warranty. The roofing page says the company's 'in-house warranties are second to none', but none of the four downloads or the pages checked on October 12, 2026 sets out warranty terms (length, what is covered, who to call). In a BBB complaint response dated July 27, 2026 the company said: 'The work he is asking for is not covered under warranty'. HomeAdvisor's profile Q&A for the company says it 'does not offer warranties', which differs from the 'in-house warranties' wording on the company's own roofing page; the two pages are shown here side by side and this page does not say which describes a given job. Before signing, ask in writing for the warranty document that applies to your material and labor and keep a copy.

Two businesses with 'similar ownership' (company disclosure). The company's 'Full Financial Interest Disclosure' says Vincent Adjusting, Inc. 'commonly refers Insureds to Vincent Exteriors, Inc.' and that the two companies share 'similar ownership'. Read that document and the public adjuster contract (see the Illinois rules section below) before you sign either one, and note which entity each paper names.

Cancellation and complaint routes (state pages). The Illinois Attorney General's home repair page says 'you have three business days to cancel any contract if the sale is made and signed at your home' and 'Seniors over the age of 65 have up to 15 business days'; the public adjuster contract the company posts allows cancellation within five business days after the insurer received a copy. Complaints about a licensed roofer go to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (Complaint Intake Unit 312-814-6910), complaints about a public adjuster to the Illinois Department of Insurance (hotline 866-445-5364), and fraud or deception complaints to the Attorney General (online form; Chicago 1-800-386-5438). You can also file with BBB.

Illinois rules for roofers and public adjusters (no regulator action against Vincent Exteriors identified)

The Illinois pages below are the agencies' own consumer summaries; the statutes themselves should be read for the exact wording. No Illinois regulator action, consent order or disciplinary order against Vincent Exteriors Inc., Vincent Adjusting, Inc. or the named individuals was identified in the sources checked on October 12, 2026. The IDFPR and Department of Insurance licence-lookups and enforcement searches were not completed (see the complaint record). The rules are listed because the company's documents describe both contractor work and a public adjuster business; this page does not say whether any rule applies to, or was or was not followed in, any particular job.

Roofing contractors (IDFPR brochure, printed 7-23). The brochure says a law that took effect on January 1, 2012 requires each licensed roofing contractor to put the licence number and name on contracts and bids, and that 'A contractor offering home repair or remodeling services must not advertise or promise to pay (or rebate) any portion of any insurance deductible as an inducement to the sale of goods or services.' For a 'catastrophe' (defined as a natural occurrence 'such as a flood, drought, earthquake, tornado, windstorm, or hailstorm which damages or destroys more than one residence'), it lists further limits, including: 'The contractor cannot represent, offer, or advertise to represent on behalf of a homeowner on any insurance claim in connection with the repair', and that 'A person who has entered into a written contract may cancel within five (5) business days if they receive notice from their insurance company that all or any part of the claim is not covered, or the 30th business day after receipt of a properly executed proof of loss by the insurer from the insured. This must be in the contract in at least 10 point boldface.' It adds: 'The contractor cannot call in or file a claim to an insurance carrier on the insured’s behalf.' The blank Work Order the company posts prints 'Licensed—Bonded—Insured' but, as opened on October 12, 2026, shows no roofing licence number and no cancellation notice; that describes the blank form only and says nothing about any signed contract. The brochure also says that for contracts over $1,000 the contractor must provide a 'Consumer Rights Brochure'.

Public adjusters (215 ILCS 5/1575, 1585 and 1590, as published on ilga.gov and opened October 12, 2026, P.A. 103-216, effective January 1, 2024). The Insurance Code section on standards of conduct says: 'A public adjuster shall not have a direct or indirect financial interest in any aspect of the claim, other than the salary, fee, commission, or other consideration established in the written contract with the insured, unless full written disclosure has been made to the insured', and that the adjuster 'shall disclose to an insured if he or she has any interest or will be compensated by any construction firm' that performs work in connection with the loss. It also says a public adjuster must abstain from referring the insured to a person for repairs 'unless disclosed to the insured' where the adjuster has a financial interest or may receive compensation for the referral. Section 1590 also says that compensation in connection with the insured's loss 'shall be disclosed by the public adjuster to the insured in writing including the source and amount of any such compensation', that a public adjuster shall not 'enter into a contract or accept a power of attorney that vests in the public adjuster the effective authority to choose the persons who shall perform repair work', and that the adjuster shall, on the insured's request, provide 'a document setting forth the scope, amount, and value of the damages'. Section 1575 says the adjuster 'shall give the insured written notice of the insured's rights as a consumer' and that 'any such contract shall be voidable for 5 business days after the contract is received by the insurer', by registered or certified mail, personal service or email; section 1585 says the adjuster 'shall maintain a complete record of each transaction', including a copy of the contract and of the separate disclosure documents. On the cancellation window the sources differ in wording: the Department of Insurance consumer page says the contract 'can only be canceled by certified mail within 5 business days after the date the contract was signed', while the statute text above counts the five business days from receipt of the contract by the insurer and lists three notice methods; the Department page also says fees 'can and should be negotiated'. The company's own contract (clause 4) follows the statute wording. The company's posted disclosure form is one document in this area; whether and how it was used in a given claim is not something this page can show.

BBB says the business is BBB Accredited (raw data: accredited February 26, 2021; file opened February 16, 2021) and rated A+. The company site's About page names Vincent John Biesiada and Steven Anthony Biesiada, both described as public adjusters, and says Vincent has 'a passion for quick, efficient, and transparent repairs to storm-damaged homes'.

Services. The site lists roofing (replacement, repair, inspection, flat and shingle roofing, gutters and downspouts), driveways (asphalt, concrete, curbs, retaining walls), fire and flood restoration, exterior painting and public adjuster services. BBB's category list also names siding, windows and doors, insulation, decks, stucco and solar.

Licence statements. The roofing page says: 'Roofing Repairs are performed under License 104017985, New Restoration System.' The company states that licence number and name itself; the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation's licence lookup presented a human-verification step on October 12, 2026 and was not completed, so this page does not confirm the licence holder or status. IDFPR's roofer brochure says a roofing licence number 'starts with #104-XXXXXX'. For public adjusting, the Public Adjuster Services page says: 'At Vincent Adjusting, we are certified public adjusters licensed by the State of Illinois.' The site posts 2026 licence PDFs for Vincent Biesiada (named by BBB as President/Owner) and Steve Biesiada (the About page names him Steven Anthony Biesiada, Public Adjuster), each showing the licence type PUBLIC ADJUSTER, and its public adjuster contract header gives Vincent Adjusting, Inc. licence number 3001194380. Those are the company's documents; the Illinois Department of Insurance lookup was not checked.

Related entity. Vincent Adjusting, Inc. uses the same address (250 Yarmouth Rd). According to the company's disclosure form, if a policyholder hires Vincent Exteriors for the construction work, Vincent Adjusting 'waives the fee that would otherwise be charged to the Insured' and 'is paid by Vincent Exteriors, Inc. (referred contractor) Twenty percent (20 %) of the total value of the required construction work or a fee of $____'. If the policyholder does not hire the contractor, the public adjuster contract states a fee of 'Ten percent (10 %) of all sums recovered under the insurance contract' and a cap of 10 percent of the settlement paid by the insurer.

Vincent Exteriors complaint record: archive posts, BBB complaints and answers, Yelp and ComplaintsBoard

Archive posts. No approved post in the usacomplaints.com archive about Vincent Exteriors Inc. or Vincent Adjusting, Inc. was identified on October 12, 2026 (the search covered the company and adjuster names, the owner's surname, the street address and both phone numbers). No archive complaint count is therefore shown, and no complaint themes are listed.

BBB (as displayed on October 12, 2026). The profile 'Vincent Exteriors Inc.' shows rating A+, BBB Accredited, '2 total complaints in the last 3 years' and '2 complaints filed in the last 12 months', and '5 /5 stars, Average of 197 Customer Reviews'. Two complaints are published, both categorized 'Service or Repair Issues' and both marked answered. The complaint dated March 23, 2026 says the consumer retained Vincent Exteriors and its adjusting business in May 2025 for a State Farm roof claim, that State Farm then denied coverage, and that the adjusting firm had not provided the claim file after three requests; the business answered on April 8, 2026 that State Farm did not deny the claim for lack of timely follow-up, that it had asked State Farm by phone to reinspect, and that its file contained the signed contract and State Farm's denial estimate. The complaint dated July 9, 2026 concerns a vinyl siding installation about three years earlier (cracking, workmanship at the door and garage, interior wall cracks); the business answered on July 27, 2026 that the customer chose the brand and color, that earlier repairs were outside warranty, one of them (siding adjusted after new stairs were added) 'completed as a courtesy', and that 'The work he is asking for is not covered under warranty'; the customer replied twice (July 28 and August 5, 2026) rejecting the response and asking for a copy of the warranty, and the business replied on August 3, 2026: 'Please provide the email address you would like your warranties sent to. You will find that these items are not covered under warranty.' BBB's display shows what each party wrote; BBB does not decide who is right on the page, and BBB says its profile may not show all complaints.

Other review sites (as displayed on October 12, 2026). Yelp shows '4.8 (24 reviews)', 'Unclaimed', and '35 other reviews that are not currently recommended'; its first page includes one review (marked updated September 13, 2026) that describes a siding replacement with cracked siding, unsealed edges and interior wall cracks, and several 2025-2026 reviews that describe roof, gutter and siding projects handled with the insurer. ComplaintsBoard shows 17 reviews, 16 at five stars and one at one star (August 31, 2026, siding). No Trustpilot page was found at trustpilot.com/review/vincentexteriors.com, and a Trustpilot search for 'Vincent Exteriors' on that date did not list a matching company on its first page. HomeAdvisor shows 'Vincent Exteriors, Inc.' at 250 Yarmouth Rd with '5.0 (20)' reviews. These platforms' counts are not added together and review sites do not verify that each reviewer was a customer.

Checks not completed on October 12, 2026. Court docket searches (CourtListener returned rate-limit errors; Justia showed a security check), the IDFPR licence lookup (human-verification page), and an Illinois Secretary of State corporation search were not completed, so this page makes no statement that no case or licence issue exists.

Vincent Exteriors court cases: search not completed

Court cases. No court case involving Vincent Exteriors Inc. or Vincent Adjusting, Inc. is listed on this page. The docket searches could not be completed on October 12, 2026 (CourtListener rate limit, Justia security check), so the absence of a listed case is not a finding that none exists. Insurance and home-repair disputes in Illinois are often decided in state court or small claims court, which these sources may not cover; the Illinois Attorney General's page notes private remedies and that the Attorney General's office cannot serve as an individual's personal attorney.

This page could not confirm the licence holder or status because the IDFPR lookup was not completed, and it found no Illinois regulator action against the company in the sources checked. Reviews on Yelp, ComplaintsBoard and BBB include both positive accounts and two detailed siding and adjusting-file complaints; those are individual accounts and the company's answers are included above where BBB displays them. Check the company's licence number with IDFPR yourself, ask for the written warranty, and read the disclosure form and any public adjuster contract before you sign.
