Las Vegas, NVSource: BBB profile for V Shred, LLC, headquarters Las Vegas, NV 89103-5239, checked 2026-10-20

V Shred is operated by V SHRED, LLC, a Nevada LLC named in its Terms of Use as the operator; BBB lists it as an accredited business with an A+ rating and a Las Vegas headquarters. Customer feedback is split. BBB reviews average 3.91 out of 5, while Trustpilot shows 2.6 out of 5 across more than 13,000 reviews, and reviewers there often mention trouble getting refunds and pushy sales tactics.

Two consumer class actions have been brought against the company. The first, over website tracking tools that allegedly shared visitors' quiz answers and video viewing with advertising platforms, was followed by a $4 million class settlement in Florida state court in which V Shred denies wrongdoing. The second, Goldman v. V Shred, LLC, alleges that the advertised sale prices were not real discounts; no court has ruled on that claim.

Before buying, check which refund rule covers the product: only digital programs carry the 30-day money-back guarantee, and the Terms send disputes to individual arbitration.

Complaint record: BBB, Trustpilot and this site's archive

BBB and Trustpilot measure different things, so their figures are shown separately and not combined.

  • BBB, V Shred, LLC, Las Vegas, NV. BBB Accredited Business since 2018-08-22, rating A+. BBB shows 331 complaints in the last 3 years, 71 of them in the last 12 months; 206 are marked answered and 125 resolved. By type: service or repair issues 118, sales and advertising 66, product 45, billing 41, order 39, customer service 11 and delivery 11. Customer reviews on BBB average 3.91 out of 5 across 492 reviews. BBB notes that the complaints it displays may not represent all complaints filed.
  • Trustpilot, vshred.com. 2.6 out of 5 from 13,579 reviews, 246 of them in the last 12 months. The profile is claimed by the company, which invites customers to leave reviews, and Trustpilot shows it has replied to 99% of negative reviews. Trustpilot's summary of recent reviews names aggressive sales tactics, routines that feel generic rather than custom, unhelpful support and difficulty getting refunds as common themes. Trustpilot does not fact-check reviews.
  • Company testimonials. The vshred.com home page shows customer testimonials marked 'Verified Purchase' under the disclaimer that extreme, atypical results are featured, links to a Testimonial Support page for typical results, and discloses that one featured customer took part in a challenge and received a cash gift.

V Shred refunds, cancellation and where to complain

V Shred's refund rules differ by product, so start with what you bought. The rules on this page come from the company's Terms of Use and Help Center.

  • Digital programs (Fat Loss Extreme, Ripped in 90, Toned in 90 and similar). The Terms say: 'We offer a 30 day money back guarantee on purchases of digital products such as digital videos and or E-Books.' The Help Center article 'Refund Policy- Digital Product' says there is 'a FULL 30 days* from the original purchase date' and 'To refund, please go to your account and access your purchases, then select your refund option from the purchase you would like to refund.' It adds that access to the programs is lost when the refund is processed.
  • Custom Diet Plan (4-week) and Custom Diet & Training Plan (8-week). The Help Center lists both as non-refundable, and the Terms say custom plans are 'non-refundable except as required by law'.
  • 1-1 coaching (Accelerator, Accelerator+, Elite and other VIP coaching). The Terms say the program is non-refundable but carries a '90 Day Results Guarantee'; to qualify a member must follow the plans, submit weekly measurements and check-ins and before/after photos every 2 weeks, and send a request to [email protected] with the subject line 'Coaching Refund Request' during the last week of the program. The Terms say V Shred decides within 7 business days and may reject a request if the client has not completed the program or cannot show proof of no results. They also say: 'Per State laws, clients reserve the right to request a refund within 72 hours of purchase.'
  • Challenges. The Terms say: 'Due to the custom nature of these products purchase is non-refundable except where required by law.' They add that a contestant who cannot take part in the contest month can email [email protected] and 'will be moved to a future contest month of their choice', in the company's discretion.
  • Supplements (sculptnation.com). The Terms describe a '100% Lifetime Money Back Guarantee' for Sculpt Nation products bought from SculptNation.com, for customers who 'take them as directed for 30 days and you are not completely satisfied', refunded less shipping and handling. For more than one bottle only the unopened bottles are returned, and the Terms say: 'If you use more than one bottle you will not be refunded for the second used bottle.' They also state a limit of 2 returns per year, and the customer pays return postage.
  • Apparel (V Shred Threads). Non-final-sale items can be returned within 30 days of delivery in usable condition; 'Final Sale' items cannot be returned.
  • Partial refunds and timing. The Terms say customers who are not eligible for a refund may be given a partial refund or other products or services at the company's sole discretion. The company's pages give different timings: the Terms say card credits are issued within two business days after customer care processes them and may take up to five business days to post, one Help Center article says three to five business days, and another says refunds generally take 5-10 business days to appear on the original payment method.

Cancel a subscription. The Help Center says to log in, go to your subscriptions and cancel there for a V Shred University (VSU) or diet-plan subscription. For a supplement subscription it says: log in to sculptnation.com, click the 'Subscriptions' tab, click 'View' next to the subscription, click 'Cancel' and confirm with 'OK'. A subscription bought through the iOS app is handled differently: the Help Center article on Apple/iOS subscriptions says 'the cancellation has to be done through your iOS settings, not inside the app' (Settings, your name, Subscriptions), and gives [email protected] and (888) 267-4650 for problems while canceling. Refunds for purchases made through the App Store are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, not from V Shred. After canceling anywhere, keep the confirmation email or a screenshot of the canceled subscription.

Contact and escalation. Send refund requests and complaints in writing to [email protected], the address the Terms name for refunds, exchanges and complaints, or use the Help Center's Contact Customer Support form. Give your order number, the product, the purchase date, the email on the account and the refund or cancellation you want. If the company does not resolve it:

  • Dispute a card charge with your card issuer, starting with the phone number on the back of the card. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, a written billing-error dispute on a credit card must reach the issuer within 60 days after the first statement showing the charge was sent. For a debit card, contact your bank as soon as you see the charge.
  • If an automatic renewal or subscription charge was never clearly explained to you, say so in the dispute. The federal Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act requires online sellers of automatically renewing plans to disclose all material terms before taking billing details, get the buyer's express informed consent before charging and offer a simple way to stop future charges.
  • File a complaint with BBB through V Shred's BBB profile; the company is BBB Accredited and BBB forwards complaints to it for a response.
  • Report deceptive billing or advertising to the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
  • Complain to your state attorney general's consumer protection office, or to the Nevada Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection, since V Shred is a Nevada company.

Keep order confirmations, screenshots of the refund or cancel screen and all emails with support.

Dispute terms. The Terms contain a binding arbitration clause with a class-action waiver, governed by Nevada law and administered by the American Arbitration Association; the clause says it does not stop you from bringing issues to the attention of federal, state or local agencies. Before arbitration a written Notice of Dispute must be sent, but the Terms show a bracketed placeholder where the notice address should be, so ask [email protected] in writing where to send it and keep a copy of that exchange. The Terms also describe a $2,000 'Alternative Payment' in certain arbitration outcomes and say the company pays AAA fees for claims of $75,000 or less.

  • Website data-sharing class action: De La Torre v. Vshred, LLC, then Bolanos v. VShred, LLC. In June 2024 a California plaintiff filed a proposed class action in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California (2:24-cv-04917). The complaint alleged that vshred.com let tracking tools from Meta, TikTok, Snap, Datadog, X and Google capture visitors' answers to the site's intro quiz, such as weight, age and height, and the titles of videos they watched, without consent, in violation of the California Invasion of Privacy Act. V Shred answered, the court stayed the case for mediation, and the plaintiff dismissed it without prejudice by stipulation on 2025-01-24. According to the later settlement agreement, the parties had agreed the terms of a class settlement at a mediation on 2025-01-21, and on 2025-02-03 the claims were refiled as Bolanos v. VShred, LLC, Case No. CACE-25-001211, in the Circuit Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County, Florida, under the Florida Security of Communications Act, the California Invasion of Privacy Act and the federal Video Privacy Protection Act. The agreement creates a $4,000,000 settlement fund for people who, from 2022-01-01, watched a video or bought products or services from V Shred and its affiliate channels, including Sculpt Nation and Amazon, or took the online quiz; V Shred denies any wrongdoing. The court's preliminary approval order was filed on 2025-05-13 and set the final approval hearing for 2025-09-10; class counsel's motion for final approval, dated 2025-07-23, is posted on the official settlement website. Eligible claimants could receive up to $10 each. The claim, opt-out and objection deadline was 2025-08-11 and has passed, so no new claims can be filed.
  • Goldman v. V Shred, LLC (C.D. Cal. 2:25-cv-06582), filed 2025-07-18 by a California customer as a proposed class action for California buyers. The complaint alleges that V Shred's advertised discounts off regular prices were not real because the products were always sold at the sale price, and claims violations of California's False Advertising Law, Consumers Legal Remedies Act and Unfair Competition Law, breach of contract and express warranty, unjust enrichment and misrepresentation. V Shred answered the complaint and the amended complaint, and in December 2025 the court referred the case to a private mediator. The latest docket entries are 'Stay Case' on 2026-06-03 and 'Dismiss Case' on 2026-07-13; the docket shows no termination date and does not give the terms of either entry.
  • Sanchez v. V Shred, LLC (S.D.N.Y. 1:21-cv-04590), filed 2021-05-21 under the Americans with Disabilities Act. The parties stipulated to dismissal with prejudice and the case was terminated on 2021-12-09; the docket does not state settlement terms.
  • V Shred, LLC v. Kramer (D. Nev. 2:25-cv-01341), filed 2025-07-23 by V Shred against an individual defendant for trademark infringement under the Lanham Act. This is a case the company brought, not a consumer case against it. On 2026-04-01 the court granted the defendant's motion to dismiss in part, with leave to amend; V Shred filed an amended complaint, and on 2026-08-04 the case was dismissed without prejudice on the parties' stipulation, each side bearing its own costs and fees.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who operates V Shred?

The Terms of Use on vshred.com say the website is operated by V SHRED, LLC, a Nevada LLC. BBB lists V Shred, LLC with headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada. Supplements are sold through SculptNation.com, and the Terms name Sculpt Nation, LLC in their shipping and order sections.

What is V Shred's refund policy?

It depends on the product. Under the Terms, digital videos and e-books carry a 30-day money-back guarantee; custom diet and fitness plans and challenges are non-refundable except where the law requires; one-to-one coaching is non-refundable but has a 90-day results guarantee that requires weekly check-ins, measurements and progress photos; and Sculpt Nation supplements bought from SculptNation.com have a lifetime money-back guarantee if taken as directed for 30 days, with no refund for a second used bottle, a limit of two returns per year and return postage paid by the customer. Apparel that is not marked Final Sale can be returned within 30 days of delivery.

How do I request a refund for a digital program?

Within 30 days of the original purchase, log in to your account, open your purchases and select the refund option on the program you want refunded, as the Help Center's digital-product refund article describes. You lose access to the program once the refund is processed. That article says refunds take three to five business days to post; another Help Center article says 5-10 business days.

How do I cancel a V Shred University or diet plan subscription?

The Help Center says to log in to your account, go to your subscriptions and manage the cancellation there. For a supplement subscription it says to log in to sculptnation.com, open the Subscriptions tab, click View, then Cancel, and confirm with OK. Subscriptions bought through the iOS app are canceled in your iPhone's Settings under your name and Subscriptions, not inside the app. Keep the cancellation confirmation.

Can a custom diet plan be refunded?

The Help Center lists the Custom Diet Plan (4-week) and Custom Diet & Training Plan (8-week) as non-refundable because of the time trainers spend on each plan, and the Terms say custom plans are non-refundable except as required by law. Check this before buying a custom plan, because the 30-day guarantee for digital programs does not cover it.

What do BBB and Trustpilot show for V Shred?

BBB shows V Shred, LLC as a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating, 331 complaints in the last 3 years and an average of 3.91 out of 5 across 492 customer reviews. Trustpilot shows 2.6 out of 5 from 13,579 reviews. The two sources measure different things and their figures are not combined.

Are there lawsuits against V Shred?

There have been private class actions. A proposed class action over vshred.com tracking tools that allegedly shared visitors' quiz answers and video viewing without consent was filed in federal court in California in 2024, then refiled in Broward County, Florida, as Bolanos v. VShred, LLC, and resolved through a $4 million class settlement in which V Shred denies wrongdoing; the claim deadline of 2025-08-11 has passed. Goldman v. V Shred, LLC (C.D. Cal. 2:25-cv-06582), filed 2025-07-18, alleges that V Shred's advertised sale prices were not real discounts; its docket shows filings titled 'Stay Case' on 2026-06-03 and 'Dismiss Case' on 2026-07-13 but no termination date, and no ruling on the claims. V Shred itself sued an individual for trademark infringement in Nevada (V Shred, LLC v. Kramer); that case was dismissed without prejudice by stipulation on 2026-08-04.

Does V Shred require arbitration?

The Terms of Use contain a binding arbitration clause administered by the American Arbitration Association with a class-action waiver, governed by Nevada law. The clause says it does not stop you from bringing issues to federal, state or local agencies, so you can still complain to the FTC or your state attorney general. The Terms show a bracketed placeholder instead of an address for the written Notice of Dispute.

How do I contact V Shred support?

Email [email protected], the address the Terms name for customer service, refunds and complaints, or use the Contact Customer Support form at help.vshred.com. The Help Center's article on Apple iOS subscriptions gives the toll-free number (888) 267-4650 for problems canceling a subscription bought through the iOS app; for refunds and other orders, the Terms point to [email protected]. BBB lists a different number, (888) 874-7331, for the business.

How do I log in to my V Shred account?

V Shred's login page asks for the email and password of your existing V Shred account. If you cannot sign in, the page has a 'Forgot your username or password?' link that leads to account recovery.

Is there a V Shred app?

The Apple App Store lists an app called V Shred: Nutrition & Fitness from the seller V Shred LLC. The listing describes it as custom diet and workout plans, and it is free to download with in-app purchases.
