Submit a ComplaintShipping, Tracking and Order Changes
Processing and delivery. The Shipping Policy says: "We aim to ship all orders within 1–2 business days." A later answer on the same page says "All orders ship in 1–3 business days."
More detailShow less
Delivery times listed for U.S. orders are Standard Shipping 3–7 business days and Expedited Shipping 2–3 business days. U.S. orders "ship from Southern California and Kentucky." A confirmation email with tracking details follows when the order ships.
Free shipping. The policy says free shipping applies when "a subtotal order value" is above the free shipping threshold, "including discounts," in select countries. The policy text does not state the dollar amount; the site's banner advertises free shipping on orders over $124.
Shipping Protection. The Shipping Policy says that at checkout "you have the option to add Shipping Protection." If a protected order arrives damaged, lost or stolen, it directs customers to submit the issue at reorder.corso.com or email [email protected] to place a reorder.
Marked delivered but not received. The policy says carriers "occasionally" mark a package delivered early and that, if it has not shown up "within a day or two" of delivery confirmation, the customer should contact the company so it can sort the matter out with the carrier.
Changing or cancelling an order. The FAQ answer "Can I change or cancel my order?" describes "a very short window—usually within 1 hour of placing your order," and says that once an order ships "it cannot be modified or canceled." Use live chat or email at once if you need a change.
Returns, Refunds and Exchanges: What the Pages Say
Refund Policy (the page linked from the footer). Under "US Return, Refund & Exchange Policy" it says: "We offer free returns and exchanges within 100 days of delivery—no questions asked." Items "must be unworn and unwashed," and final sale items, marked on the product page, are not eligible. Returns are started through the company's returns portal, and the policy says returns "typically process in 5–7 business days after the package is received."
Refund amount and timing. The policy says that once a return is received the refund goes to the original payment method, that the customer should "allow 3–5 business days" for the bank, and that "We will refund you for all items that are returned, less the original cost of shipping." If a returned item was part of an "Add More Save More" promotion, the refund "may be adjusted" depending on the discount tier the remaining items qualify for. Exchanges can be made "for anything in the shop," with a return balance used toward another product. International returns can take up to 21 business days to credit.
Where the company's pages differ. The FAQ page's U.S. return answer reads: "Returns include a $5 restocking fee, and typically process in 5–7 business days after the package is received." The Refund Policy page does not mention a restocking fee, and while its main text counts the 100 days from delivery, its own "Common Return Questions" answer counts them from purchase. It also promises free returns yet says refunds are made less the original cost of shipping. The Terms of Use, in the purchase conditions under "Returns," say that goods "may be returned only with a supplied RMA#" and that "All sales are final thirty (30) days after order," and add that returns and exchanges are subject to the Refund Policy.
More detailShow less
The CashBack terms refer to "the 30-day return period." The company's pages do not reconcile the 100-day and 30-day wording; keep the order confirmation and screenshots of the policy you relied on, and ask support in writing which terms apply to your order.
Damaged or defective items. The policy tells customers to email [email protected]. The separate Perfect Fit, Made to Last Guarantee says that if an item is not the right size "or wears a little too soon," customers should "let us know within 100 days" and the company will replace it for free; the same page adds that the guarantee is "left to True Classic’s sole discretion."
Gift purchases. The Refund Policy links a separate gift-return page for recipients.
If True Classic Does Not Resolve It
- Contact the company first, in writing. The Contact page lists live chat ("Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM PST" and "Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST"), email at [email protected], a WhatsApp channel, and text-message support ("Text SUPPORT to 69146"). The Contact page lists no phone number; the Privacy Policy gives +1 323-419-1092 for privacy requests. Include the order number and what you want (refund, exchange, cancellation).
- Lost or damaged order with Shipping Protection. Claims for protected orders go to Corso at reorder.corso.com or [email protected], as the Shipping Policy directs.
- Start returns in the returns portal linked from the Refund Policy and keep the confirmation email and tracking receipt.
- Dispute the charge with the card issuer. For credit cards, the FTC says: "Send your letter so that it reaches the issuer within 60 days after the first bill with the error was sent to you," at the address given for billing inquiries. Other payment methods (debit, PayPal, Apple Pay) have their own dispute rules.
- Late shipment. The FTC's Mail, Internet or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule requires a seller without a stated ship date to have a reasonable basis to ship within 30 days; if it cannot ship on time it must seek the customer’s consent to a delay or refund the money.
- Report to regulators. File a report with the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, and a complaint with the attorney general of your own state or with the California Attorney General (the company is based in California), whose online consumer complaint form covers businesses; the form notes that the Attorney General cannot give legal advice or represent individuals in personal legal actions. A BBB complaint can also be filed at bbb.org.
- Small claims or arbitration. The Terms keep the right to bring an individual action in small claims court. To start arbitration, they require a written notice describing the claim and the relief sought, sent by certified mail to True Classic Tees, Attn.: Arbitration Notice, 26635 Agoura Rd, Ste 105, Calabasas, CA 91302; if the claim is not resolved within 30 days after the notice is received, either side may start arbitration or file in small claims court.
Lawsuits Naming True Classic Tees
One lawsuit naming True Classic Tees LLC is pending; the others shown in federal court records have been dismissed. What a complaint says is the plaintiff's allegation, not a finding.

- Muench v. True Classic Tees LLC (promotional emails), pending. Joseph Muench, of Seattle, filed a proposed class action in King County Superior Court, Washington, on August 25, 2026 (No. 26-2-27854-7 SEA). It alleges that subject lines of True Classic marketing emails such as "ends tonight" or "sale extended" falsely signal that an offer is ending, in violation of Washington's Commercial Electronic Mail Act and Consumer Protection Act. It asks for an injunction and the greater of actual damages or statutory damages of $100 per violation, trebled under the Consumer Protection Act. The case is now in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington (2:26-cv-03602), where it opened on September 24, 2026.
- Edlund v. True Classic Tees, LLC (checkout fee), dismissed. Stephen Edlund, of Naples, Florida, sued on behalf of a proposed class in Los Angeles County Superior Court; the case then proceeded in the Central District of California (2:25-cv-00450), where it opened on January 17, 2025. The complaint alleged that the website advertised "Free Shipping" on purchases over $79 while adding a "Package Protection & Sustainability Fee" to every online order, and that the link to remove the fee was tiny and designed to go unnoticed. It raised claims for unjust enrichment, under California's Unfair Competition Law, False Advertising Law and Consumers Legal Remedies Act, and, for a Florida subclass, under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act. The parties filed a notice of settlement on April 16, 2025, and on April 29, 2025 the court dismissed the action with prejudice as to all of Edlund's claims. No court ruled on the allegations. The current Shipping Policy describes Shipping Protection as an option the customer may add at checkout.
- Other closed federal cases. Lopez v. True Classic Tees LLC (Southern District of Florida, 1:25-cv-22107) was filed on May 7, 2025 and voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiff on June 17, 2025. Pagan v. True Classic Tees LLC (Southern District of Florida, 1:26-cv-24168) was filed on June 14, 2026; the plaintiff dismissed it voluntarily, and the court closed it on July 10, 2026. Mejia v. True Classic Tees LLC (Southern District of New York, 1:22-cv-04181) was filed on May 20, 2022 and closed on November 23, 2022.
The company's Terms of Use require individual arbitration of most disputes and contain a class-action waiver.

DismissedWhat True Classic Sells
True Classic sells men's t-shirts, long sleeves, bottoms, outerwear, activewear, dress shirts, tall sizes and gift cards through trueclassictees.com and its retail stores. Its Our Story page claims more than 45 million shirts sold worldwide; that figure is the company's own.
Its Terms of Use say the website is "owned and operated by True Classic Tees LLC." The Privacy Policy gives the company's address as 26635 Agoura Road, #105, Calabasas, CA 91302. Orders are sold under the company's Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Terms of Use, which include a paid Insiders Club membership and an arbitration clause.
Insiders Club Membership, Store Credit and CashBack
Cost and renewal. The FAQ page says: "As a member of the Insiders Club, you'll be charged $12/year." The Terms of Use describe the True Classic Membership as a members-only offering "for an annual price," state that the fee is "non-refundable except as expressly set forth in these Terms," and say the membership automatically continues unless the member notifies the company before a charge that they want to cancel or do not want to auto renew.
How to cancel. The Refund Policy, under "Managing Your Membership," says: "You can cancel your membership from your account portal at any time or by contacting our customer support team [email protected]." It adds that there are "no termination fees or hidden costs to cancel, but we do not provide refunds or credits for the cost of the membership," that the membership "will still remain active through the current billing period," and that unused credits "will expire after 12 months." It also states: "All purchases of the membership are final and cannot be returned or refunded." Cancel before the renewal date if you do not want the next year charged.
CashBack offer. The Terms describe a CashBack program for U.S. customers who opt in to marketing email: a choice, made within six months of purchase, between a prepaid digital Visa card and a larger time-limited True Classic credit. The reward is sent only after the 30-day return period ends, and returning an item cancels the reward for that item. Promo codes cannot be combined with it. The credit option is valid for 90 days from issue and the prepaid card for five years.
Arbitration and Class-Action Waiver in the Terms of Use
The Terms of Use state near the top that all disputes are to be resolved by binding arbitration and that the customer gives up the right "to go to court (including in a class action)," except for small claims matters. The section titled "Dispute Resolution" sets these terms:
- Governing law: "The laws of the California, excluding its conflict of laws rules" govern the agreement.
- Scope: "ALL disputes arising out of or related to this Agreement, the Privacy Policy, and/or your use of the Site or any of True Classic Tees’s Goods" go to final and binding arbitration.
- Exceptions: an individual action in small claims court, an enforcement action through a government agency, injunctive relief in court, and intellectual property claims.
- Notice first: to start arbitration, the customer must send a written Notice by certified mail to True Classic Tees, Attn.: Arbitration Notice, 26635 Agoura Rd, Ste 105, Calabasas, CA 91302, describing the claim and the relief sought. If the claim is not resolved within 30 days of receipt, either side may start arbitration or file in small claims court.
- Forum and rules: JAMS, under its Comprehensive or Streamlined Arbitration Rules; the hearing is to take place at a location agreed in Los Angeles, California; each side pays its own costs and attorneys’ fees.
- No class actions: claims may be brought only in an individual capacity.
The Dispute Resolution section does not state a period for opting out of arbitration. The Terms also say that "All issues are for the arbitrator to decide, including issues relating to the scope and enforceability." Whether a particular clause is enforceable against a particular customer is for a court or arbitrator to decide.
