SinglePlatform: who runs it now, and how to cancel or fix billing (checked October 12, 2026)

SinglePlatform is a listing and menu-syndication service for local businesses (restaurants, salons and similar), and the people who search its name are usually business owners who see a SinglePlatform charge, a login email or a listing and want to know who is behind it. According to SEC filings, SinglePlatform, LLC was sold by Constant Contact to TripAdvisor LLC on December 5, 2019, so the service is no longer owned by Constant Contact. The company’s own support site (support.singleplatform.com) was still online on October 12, 2026.

What the company publishes (support site, opened October 12, 2026):

• Cancel or delete an account: the support article says “If you would like to deactivate, cancel, delete your free account, or remove the data associated with your account, please call us at: 866-289-2092”. The article does not separately describe cancelling a paid subscription.
• Change a card or billing information: the billing article says online update “is not available at this time” and to contact 866-289-2092.
• Support hours listed on the home page: Billing and Orientation Mon–Fri 9am–6pm EST; Support Mon–Fri 9am–9pm EST and Sat 9am–6pm EST.
• Terms of service: a support article says “Terms of Service can be found on our homepage and in your SinglePlatform account”. On October 12, 2026 the homepage address redirected to a Tripadvisor for Business page, so the terms could not be reached that way; the account portal is behind a login, so the contract terms were not read for this page.
• What cancelling does not do: the cancellation article says deactivating, cancelling or deleting “does not ensure a complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information you may have posted”, and that content already published to third-party sites such as Facebook or Twitter is not removed.

Practical steps: have the account email, business name and the last four digits of the card that was charged ready before calling; ask for a written confirmation of cancellation; check the listing on Google, Yelp and Tripadvisor yourself, because the company says it does not remove content already published elsewhere. If a charge is disputed, the card issuer’s dispute process is a separate route. Complaints about business practices can be filed with the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov and with your state attorney general.

Who SinglePlatform is and who has owned it

Constant Contact era. On June 13, 2012 Constant Contact, Inc. announced in an 8-K press release that it had acquired “privately owned SinglePlatform”, described as helping small businesses get discovered through web and mobile searches.

Sale to Tripadvisor. In an 8-K dated December 5, 2019, Endurance International Group Holdings, Inc. reported that on that date Constant Contact, Inc., “a subsidiary of Endurance”, completed the sale of substantially all assets of its SinglePlatform digital storefront business, including all membership interests of SinglePlatform, LLC, to TripAdvisor LLC for approximately $51 million in cash. Tripadvisor’s fiscal 2019 Form 10-K describes SinglePlatform as “a leading online content management and syndication platform company based in the U.S.” acquired in December 2019 as part of 100 percent ownership acquisitions. Exhibit 21.1 to Tripadvisor’s fiscal 2025 Form 10-K (filed 2026-02-13) still lists SinglePlatform, LLC, a Delaware entity, among its subsidiaries.

Today. On October 12, 2026 the old website address singleplatform.com answered with an HTTP redirect (301) to Tripadvisor’s “Tripadvisor for Business” restaurant page, which did not use the SinglePlatform name in the text read. The support site describes the product this way: “SinglePlatform makes it easy to stand out by showcasing your business’s most important information such as your menu, products, and services in all of the places local consumers are searching online, making it quick and easy to get discovered by new customers in your area.” Tripadvisor’s principal executive office, per the 10-K cover, is 400 1st Avenue, Needham, MA 02494. The 10-K cover also lists (781) 800-5000, which is the parent’s number and not a SinglePlatform support line. A separate street address for SinglePlatform, LLC was not found on a company page.

Is SinglePlatform Legitimate?

SEC filings by two public companies (Endurance International Group Holdings and Tripadvisor) name SinglePlatform, LLC as a Delaware limited liability company that Tripadvisor LLC acquired on December 5, 2019, and Tripadvisor still listed it among its subsidiaries in the fiscal 2025 Form 10-K. The company operates a support site with a published phone number for cancellation and billing changes. This page does not rate the service. No BBB file, Trustpilot reviews, court case captions or archive complaints were found under the name on October 12, 2026.
