Shapermint subscription charges: contact, cancel Club or Autoship, returns, refunds and escalation (checked October 7, 2026)

Shapermint sells shapewear, bras and related items at shapermint.com. Its Terms & Conditions (effective August 28, 2026) cover four separate subscription or credit programs: Shapermint Club (a paid membership), Club+ (a quarterly box), Subscribe & Save ("Autoship") including a "Try Before You Buy" variant, and Shapermint Credits. The Terms describe these programs; the charge description, your account and your confirmation emails show which program or order a charge belongs to. The terms below are quoted from the company's pages opened on October 7, 2026; your order confirmation email and account show the offer that applies to you.

Contact channels. The Contact page offers chat and a "Call us" button and says "Need help with exchanges or returns? We're here for you with 24/7 support." The Terms list [email protected] for customer service, [email protected] for Club and Club+ members, and phone / SMS +1 (831) 888-0074 for Club, Club+ and Autoship questions. The Terms' general contact block lists +1 (484) 772-2274 and the address 10785 W. Twain Ave. Ste 229, Las Vegas, NV 89135.

Cancel Shapermint Club. The Terms say: "you must Log into your Member Account, choose Manage Subscription and follow the instructions", or contact Customer Care by Live Chat, email or phone / SMS. The Help Center describes the same path (Manage Membership, then Manage, then "Cancel Online"). The Terms add: "There are no cancellation fees. Canceling your account does not result in a refund of amounts already paid or stop a pending charge, but will go into effect for the next billing cycle." For the 90-day free-trial variants the Terms say "Canceling before the First Paid Charge means you will not be billed."

How Club fees are described. The Terms give the U.S. fee as USD 4.99 per month, or USD 14.97 billed quarterly for the 90-day free-trial quarterly variant, and say the fee that applies is "the fee presented to the enrolling Member at the time of enrollment and confirmed in that Member's enrollment confirmation email." The Club page says "Try it free for 90 days. After that, it's just $4.99/month, billed quarterly, plus tax" and that you can join "during checkout, when selecting shipping, or right after placing your order." Members who also have Autoship may be billed on "Consolidated Billing" (USD 14.97 with a 90-day Autoship cycle, USD 29.94 with a 180-day cycle). The Terms also say that if a member cancels Autoship, Shapermint "reserves the right to charge retroactively" for Club months not yet collected, at USD 4.99 per month.

Autoship and Try Before You Buy. The Autoship Terms say a subscription "will thereafter automatically create a new order according to your chosen delivery schedule, until you cancel", and that you can cancel "via My Account" or through chat, email or phone / SMS. You may edit or cancel an upcoming order from the reminder email until "12:00 AM of the day preceding the creation of your new order." For the Try Before You Buy variant, the Terms give a one-hour cancellation window after ordering, a 14-day period from delivery to start a return, a charge on the 21st day after the order date if you do nothing, and then new orders every 90 days.

Club+ box. The Club+ Terms describe up to four items per box, a seven-day try-on period, and a charge "between 24 and 30 days after your 7-day Try-On Period is over" for items not returned. Club+ requires a valid Club membership. For items returned late, the Terms say Shapermint reserves the right to charge the price of items not returned in time and "full expenses for the return", though it may provide a credit for future purchases at its discretion; for returns showing signs of wear or damage, they say it may not accept the return and may charge "up to 50% of the retail price" of the item(s). Cancelling is separate from returning: the Terms say "returning items does not automatically cancel your subscription", that cancelling Club "does not automatically cancel your Shapermint Club+ membership, nor vice versa", and "You will need to cancel each subscription separately."

Returns and refunds. The Help Center article says returns and exchanges are accepted "within 60 days of delivery" for unworn, unwashed items with tags and hygiene seals, that exchanges are free, that a "$6 USD processing fee" is deducted from refunds, that Final Sale items are not returnable, and that Club members have "free exchanges and returns" for 90 days. Per the Terms, "Shipping fees are non-refundable." The article says store credit "is always optional", is non-refundable and "can't be converted back to your original payment method". Orders placed through a TV-show partner use a separate return request form.

If the company does not resolve it. Keep your order and charge emails. If you paid by credit card, the FTC's consumer page "Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges" says a billing-error letter must reach the issuer within 60 days after the first bill with the error was sent, that the issuer must acknowledge it within 30 days and resolve it within 90 days, and advises including copies (not originals) of supporting documents, keeping a copy of the letter, and that certified mail with a return receipt gives proof of what the issuer received. The Terms require a written Notice of Dispute to the Las Vegas address above and 60 days of informal discussion before arbitration (see the FAQ on the arbitration clause). You can also file a report at reportfraud.ftc.gov (the FTC says it cannot resolve individual reports), a complaint with BBB through the profile's "Submit a Complaint" link, or with your state attorney general's consumer protection office.

Court cases and settlements involving Favorite World, LLC d/b/a Shapermint

A CourtListener search by party name for "Favorite World" run on October 7, 2026 returned four dockets, two of which are the same Fernandez case before and after an intradistrict transfer entry, so three matters are listed below. Dockets were read newest entry first. A complaint is an allegation, not a finding. No regulator enforcement action naming Shapermint or Favorite World, LLC was identified in the sources checked on October 7, 2026 (web searches and the court dockets below).

  • Minor v. Favorite World LLC (C.D. Cal. 2:24-cv-04425): the settlement agreement says the action was filed April 19, 2024 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleges that the company "deceptively advertised various discounts of its products on its website" and pleads violations of California's Consumers Legal Remedies Act and Unfair Competition Law, and was removed to federal court on May 28, 2024. The defendant "does not admit or concede any actual or potential fault, wrongdoing, or liability." The court preliminarily approved a class settlement on July 31, 2025 and granted final approval on December 15, 2025; judgment was entered December 23, 2025 and the case terminated. The settlement class is California consumers who bought products from shapermint.com at a listed discount from the MSRP between April 19, 2020 and July 31, 2025; members receive a USD 6 voucher by default, or up to USD 12 in voucher credit with a valid claim form; the defendant also agreed to add tooltip text stating that the strikethrough price is the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price; and a USD 475,000 cash Settlement Costs Fund pays settlement costs, none of which reverts to the defendant. The final-approval order approves attorneys' fees of USD 381,051.78 and costs of USD 24,998.22, USD 5,000 service awards to each of two class representatives and USD 58,950 to the administrator, records six opt-outs and no objections, and states the order is "not an admission or concession by any party of any fault, omission, liability or wrongdoing."
  • Fernandez and Nguyen v. Favorite World, LLC d/b/a Shapermint (C.D. Cal. 8:24-cv-00714; first docketed as 2:24-cv-02564): removed March 28, 2024 from Orange County Superior Court (case 30-2023-01366132-CU-BC-CXC). Plaintiffs filed a first amended complaint on July 12, 2024 and the defendant moved to dismiss it; the motion was heard September 27, 2024 and taken under submission. On November 7, 2024 plaintiffs filed a notice that they had "reached a settlement on an individual basis", and on December 26, 2024 the court entered judgment that the action, "including all claims asserted herein, is DISMISSED." The docket as displayed does not describe the claims and shows no class-certification order, and this page does not infer the claims.
  • Slade v. Favorite World, LLC (S.D.N.Y. 1:25-cv-09718): opened November 21, 2025 by removal from state court; the defendant answered on November 28, 2025 and the case was referred to mediation on December 19, 2025. On February 12, 2026 the court discontinued the action without prejudice after being informed of a settlement in principle, and a stipulation of voluntary dismissal was filed March 5, 2026. The docket's case-opening correction note lists nature of suit 446 (Civil Rights: Americans with Disabilities - Other); the docket does not set out the claims, and this page does not infer them.

Court filings caption the defendant "Favorite World, LLC d/b/a Shapermint", and BBB lists Favorite World, LLC as an alternate name for its Shapermint profile in Las Vegas, NV.

How do I cancel Shapermint Club?

The Terms say to log into your Member Account, choose Manage Subscription and follow the instructions, or to contact Customer Care by Live Chat, email at [email protected], or phone / SMS at +1 (831) 888-0074. The Terms state there are no cancellation fees and that cancelling "does not result in a refund of amounts already paid or stop a pending charge, but will go into effect for the next billing cycle." They also say Club and Club+ must be cancelled separately and that returning items does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Why was I charged a Shapermint Club fee?

The Club page says customers can join "during checkout, when selecting shipping, or right after placing your order", with a 90-day free trial followed by USD 4.99 per month billed quarterly. The Terms list a USD 14.97 quarterly charge for the U.S. quarterly variant and say the fee that applies is the one shown at enrollment and in the enrollment confirmation email. Search your email for a Shapermint Club confirmation to see which offer was accepted.

What are Shapermint's return and refund rules?

The Help Center article says returns and exchanges are accepted within 60 days of delivery for unworn, unwashed items with tags and hygiene seals; exchanges are free; a USD 6 processing fee is deducted from refunds; Final Sale items cannot be returned; and Club members have free exchanges and returns for 90 days. Cal. 2:24-cv-04425), which concerned advertised discounts from the MSRP on shapermint.com for California purchasers between April 19, 2020 and July 31, 2025. The defendant did not admit wrongdoing, and the court's order is not a finding on the merits. Details are in the litigation section.

Can I sue Shapermint or join a class action?

The Terms contain a binding individual arbitration agreement and class action waiver. They require a written Notice of Dispute to 10785 W. Twain Ave. Ste 229, Las Vegas, NV 89135, then 60 days of informal discussion before either side may start arbitration with the American Arbitration Association; claims under USD 10,000 may be handled through non-appearance arbitration at either party's option. What is Shapermint Club+?

The Terms say Club+ can be cancelled from My Account ("Manage Memberships") or through Customer Care, that "returning items does not automatically cancel your subscription", and that cancelling Club does not automatically cancel Club+, nor vice versa. For late returns the Terms allow a charge of "full expenses for the return" and, for returns with signs of wear or damage, a charge of up to 50 percent of the retail price.
