Royal United Mortgage regulators: the 2012 Illinois consent order and the sources checked on October 22, 2026
Illinois Division of Banking, Order No. 2012-MBR-02 (Department signature date shown: March 21, 2012). The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and Royal United Mortgage, LLC (listed in the caption at 7999 Knue Road, Suite 300, Indianapolis) entered a Consent Order under the Residential Mortgage License Act of 1987. The order records that the company had held Illinois residential mortgage license No. MB.6760706 since October 30, 2009, did not renew it by the February 29, 2012 deadline, and brokered eleven Illinois residential mortgage loans after that date and before the license was renewed on March 12, 2012. The Licensing page now lists Illinois Residential Mortgage License #MB.6760706, the same number the order names. The company agreed to pay a fine of $10,000, and the Department says it considered the company's cooperation in reporting the violation as a mitigating factor. The company also agreed not to file a petition for a hearing or review of the order. The order concerns a missed license renewal; it does not describe consumer harm.
