Ro's Terms name Roman Health Ventures Inc., 625 6th Ave, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10011, as the operator together with affiliated medical and pharmacy entities, and BBB records the business as started in 2017 and accredited since July 2018 with an A+ rating. The company has been named as a defendant in several federal lawsuits, described in the court section; these are allegations and procedural steps, not court findings against Ro.

Complaint record: BBB and Trustpilot

BBB. The BBB profile for Ro in New York, NY, also listing the name Roman Health Ventures, Inc., shows a BBB Accredited Business since July 23, 2018 with an A+ rating. BBB counts 761 complaints in the last 3 years, 408 of them in the last 12 months, and a customer-review average of 1.1 out of 5 from 344 reviews. BBB's letter rating reflects how a business handles complaints and other factors, while the star average comes only from customer reviews, which is why the two can differ so widely.

Trustpilot. The ro.co profile has a TrustScore of 3.9 out of 5 from 7,427 reviews. Ro claimed the profile in November 2021, pays for a Trustpilot subscription, invites customers to leave reviews and has replied to 86 percent of negative reviews.

These figures come from separate platforms that measure different things, so they are not added together or compared with each other. If you have a billing or treatment problem of your own, the section "Ro complaints: how to cancel, ask for a refund and escalate" explains whom to contact and where to escalate.

Ro complaints: how to cancel, ask for a refund and escalate

Cancel a Ro Body membership. Section 4 of Ro's Terms and Conditions of Use (last revised April 2, 2026) gives two ways: log into your account, open the Ro Body Program and select "Cancel Subscription" on the Program Details page, or email [email protected]. Timing matters: "To avoid further charges to the payment method on file, you must cancel at least 48 hours in advance of your next renewal date." The membership fee is billed automatically at the price and frequency shown at checkout, it is charged even if you do not use all the membership services or receive no medication, and once paid it "is non-refundable".

More detailShow less

After you cancel, you keep membership services through the last paid billing cycle; after that you can no longer receive prescriptions through the program. The Terms advise talking to your Ro-affiliated clinician before you stop a medication, because stopping some medicines abruptly can affect your health.

Cancel other Ro subscriptions. Section 16 says you can cancel a subscription to stop future renewals at any time before the cancellation cutoff date shown when you bought it, so check that date in your order confirmation or account.

Refunds. Ro's Returns & Refunds page says it cannot refund or take back prescription products and that all sales are final, but asks you to contact Ro if you think your prescription was filled in error. Section 16 of the Terms makes fees non-refundable "IN WHOLE OR IN PART" except as a refund policy or the Terms provide, and then lists automatic refunds: when you were already charged and are found unsuitable for treatment or your treatment request is rejected for any other reason; when a treatment request expires because you did not finish the required onboarding steps; and when you accept a provider's alternative treatment plan, in which case the first charge is refunded and the new plan is charged. For Ro Body, if no medication is ever prescribed, the purchase price is refunded and you are not enrolled in the renewing membership. The Terms say refunds may take 5 business days or longer. Refunds, replacements and disputes over Lilly products bought through LillyDirect follow the policies of the dispensing pharmacy and, where applicable, Lilly.

Extra fees. Ro Body members are charged $15.00 for each medical consult after the 24th consult in a year, and separately for additional laboratory tests.

Contact. Ro's Contact us page sends patients to a Help Center and to logged-in support, and says the Care Team answers side-effect and treatment questions within a day and other questions in 1-2 days. For Ro Body, the Terms put the Care Team, which handles account and shipping questions at [email protected], on Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Time, so if your renewal date is close, cancel in your account rather than by email. Section 22 of the Terms lists [email protected] and the postal address Roman Health Ventures Inc., 625 6th Ave, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10011. The BBB profile lists the phone number (888) 798-8686. In a medical emergency, call 911. When you write, give the email on your account, your order or membership details, the date and amount of each charge, and what you want: cancellation, a refund of a named charge, or a correction of your prescription.

Formal disputes and arbitration. Under section 19.1, the first step in any legal dispute is a written description emailed to [email protected] with your name, the email address on your account, what the dispute is about and the specific relief you want. Ro then has 60 days to try to settle it informally; only if it is still unresolved can you go further, and the Terms warn that not taking part in this step in good faith could lead to fees being awarded against you in arbitration. After that, most disputes go to individual binding arbitration with a class-action waiver, although either side may use small claims court for claims within its limits. Section 19.4 lets you opt out of arbitration by a signed written notice to the same address within 30 days of April 23, 2024 or your first use of the services, whichever is later, so if you started using Ro more than 30 days ago, that window has closed.

If Ro does not resolve it. If a credit card charge is a billing error, such as a charge you did not authorize, a wrong amount or a charge for medication that was never delivered, send your card issuer a written dispute within 60 days after the first statement that showed it; the Fair Credit Billing Act gives you that right, and the card issuer investigates and decides the dispute.

More detailShow less

A renewal you agreed to and did not cancel in time is generally not a billing error. You can also file a complaint with BBB through Ro's profile, report to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, and file a consumer complaint with your state attorney general. A complaint about a prescriber goes to the state medical board that licensed them, and one about how a prescription was filled goes to the state board of pharmacy. Report a side effect or a problem with a medicine to the FDA through its MedWatch program.

Court dockets that name Roman Health Ventures Inc.

Who operates Ro

Ro's Terms and Conditions of Use (last revised April 2, 2026) say that Roman Health Ventures Inc. and its affiliates, including Roman Health Medical LLC, Roman Health Pharmacy LLC, Dadi, LLC and Modern Health Inc., together called "Ro", own and operate ro.co, getroman.com, dadikit.com, modernfertility.com, hellorory.com, quitwithzero.com and romanhealthpharmacy.com. The Terms are governed by Delaware law, and the company's address is 625 6th Ave, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10011.

Ro is a technology platform rather than a medical practice: the Terms state that "Ro does not provide any medical services" and that patients are seen by a health care provider employed by or contracted with a Ro-affiliated physician practice. Prescriptions can be filled by Roman Health Pharmacy LLC or one of Ro's partner pharmacies. Its best-known current product is the Ro Body Program, a paid membership for weight-loss care that can include GLP-1 medications; through a LillyDirect arrangement with Lilly USA, LLC, some Lilly GLP-1 prescriptions are sold at self-pay prices outside insurance and may be dispensed by a LillyDirect partner pharmacy.

BBB lists the business as Ro, also known as Roman Health Ventures, Inc., a corporation in the telemedicine category, with a business start date of April 13, 2017 and incorporation on April 12, 2017.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who operates Ro?

Ro is run by Roman Health Ventures Inc. of 625 6th Ave, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10011. Its Terms name affiliates including Roman Health Medical LLC, Roman Health Pharmacy LLC, Dadi, LLC and Modern Health Inc. as jointly owning and operating ro.co, getroman.com, modernfertility.com and the company's other sites. Medical care comes from clinicians at Ro-affiliated physician practices, not from Ro itself.

How do I cancel a Ro Body Program membership?

Log into your Ro account, open the Ro Body Program and select "Cancel Subscription" on the Program Details page, or email [email protected]. Ro's Terms require you to cancel at least 48 hours before your next renewal date to avoid the next charge, and a membership fee already paid is not refunded. Services continue until the end of the billing cycle you paid for. Other Ro subscriptions can be canceled before the cutoff date shown when you bought them.

Does Ro give refunds?

Only in specific cases. Ro's Returns & Refunds page says prescription products cannot be returned or refunded and all sales are final, but asks you to contact Ro if you think your prescription was filled in error. A Ro Body membership fee already paid is non-refundable. The Terms do promise automatic refunds if you were charged and then found unsuitable for treatment, if your treatment request is rejected or expires, or if you accept an alternative treatment plan, and Ro Body refunds the purchase price if no medication is ever prescribed. Refunds may take 5 business days or longer. Refunds for Lilly products bought through LillyDirect follow the dispensing pharmacy's policies.

How do I contact Ro customer service?

Patients can log in on Ro's Contact us page to message the Care Team, which says it answers side-effect and treatment questions within a day and other questions in 1-2 days; the page also links to a Help Center. For Ro Body, the Terms give Care Team hours of Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Time, so cancel in your account rather than by email when a renewal is close. Ro's Terms list the email [email protected] and the address Roman Health Ventures Inc., 625 6th Ave, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10011. The BBB profile lists the phone number (888) 798-8686.

What does the BBB profile for Ro show?

BBB lists Ro, also known as Roman Health Ventures, Inc., as a BBB Accredited Business since July 23, 2018 with an A+ rating. The profile counts 761 complaints in the last 3 years, 408 of them in the last 12 months, and a customer-review average of 1.1 out of 5 from 344 reviews. You can file your own complaint through the same BBB profile.

What does Trustpilot show for Ro?

The ro.co profile on Trustpilot has a TrustScore of 3.9 out of 5 from 7,427 reviews. Ro claimed the profile in November 2021, pays for a Trustpilot subscription, invites its customers to write reviews and has replied to 86 percent of negative reviews.

Can I opt out of Ro's arbitration clause?

Only within a short window. Section 19.4 of Ro's Terms lets you opt out of binding arbitration and the class-action waiver by a signed written notice sent to [email protected] within 30 days of April 23, 2024 or your first use of Ro's services, whichever is later, so for anyone who started using Ro more than 30 days ago the window has closed. To start a dispute, the Terms require you to email a written description to the same address with your name, account email, what the dispute is about and the relief you want, and to allow 60 days for informal resolution before arbitration. If Ro later changes the dispute-resolution section, the Terms let you opt out of the changed terms by the same kind of notice. Small claims court remains available either way.

Has Ro been sued?

Roman Health Ventures Inc. has been named as a defendant in five federal cases; three of them, Wilson, White and Sweet, are filed under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the law on unwanted marketing calls and texts. Wilson v. Roman Health Ventures Inc. in the Southern District of New York was dismissed on October 6, 2025 after the parties reported a settlement in principle. White, filed in the Southern District of California on September 30, 2026, and Sweet, filed in the District of Colorado on October 12, 2026, are at the filing stage. Two earlier cases, Siegfried in the Middle District of Pennsylvania and Gutierrez in the Central District of California, were dismissed in 2023 and 2024. The allegations in these cases are the plaintiffs' and are not court findings.

Where can I report a problem with a Ro medication or billing?

Start with Ro's Care Team at [email protected] or through your account. For a billing error on a credit card, such as an unauthorized charge or a charge for medication that never arrived, dispute it in writing with your card issuer within 60 days after the statement that first showed it; the issuer decides the dispute. You can also complain to BBB, the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov and your state attorney general. For a side effect or a faulty medicine, report it to the FDA's MedWatch program; complaints about a prescriber go to the state medical board, and about a pharmacy to the state board of pharmacy.
