Service, Cancellation, Unfinished Work and Warranty: What to Do

Contact the company first. The Contact Us page of premier-homepros.com gives (855) 209-7818 as the main number and says: "Already a customer? For service and support, please call our direct line at 734-224-2779."

More detailShow less

The page lists hours of Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM ET, Saturday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM; it marks only the weekday hours as Eastern Time. Written notices can go to Premier Home Pros, LLC, Attn: Legal Department, 388 S. Main Street Suite 340, Akron, OH 44311, the address section 14 of the website Terms gives for legal contact. When you ask for service, give the job address, the contract or job number, the dates of the work, photos and the exact repair you want, send the same request in writing as well as by phone, and keep a log of every call and visit.

Cancelling within days of signing. The three-day cancellation rights on this page apply to sales made at your home or at another place that is not the seller's regular place of business. They are not universal: the FTC rule does not cover a sale completed after negotiations at the seller's permanent place of business, or a purchase you made to meet an emergency, so a contract signed at a company office may carry no statutory cancellation right. Check whether your contract includes a cancellation notice. The FTC's Cooling-Off Rule covers sales of $25 or more made at the buyer's home: the seller must give you a dated copy of the contract and two copies of a cancellation form, and you can cancel for a full refund until midnight of the third business day after the sale. Saturday counts as a business day; Sundays and federal holidays do not. Mail the signed form, or a cancellation letter if you received no form, to the cancellation address before that deadline, ideally by certified mail with a return receipt. After a valid cancellation the seller has 10 days to refund your money and return any check you signed. Some states have their own home-sale cancellation laws:

  • Ohio. Ohio Revised Code 1345.22(A) lets a buyer cancel a home solicitation sale until midnight of the third business day after signing. The notice goes to the seller's address, email address or fax number stated in the agreement, by certified mail with return receipt, personal delivery, fax or email, and any written wording that says you do not want to be bound is enough.
  • Florida. Florida Statutes 501.025 gives the same deadline for home solicitation sales; written notice can be given in person or by mail to the address in the agreement, and a mailed notice counts from its postmark date.
  • Pennsylvania. The Attorney General's guide to the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act says you can rescind a home improvement contract without penalty within three business days of signing, except in emergency situations, and that a contractor may not demand or take any payment before the contract is signed.

In other states the FTC rule is the federal baseline, and state law may add its own conditions. Read the cancellation notice in your contract and ask your state attorney general's consumer office which law applies to your sale.

Unfinished or defective work. Send the company a dated written list of what is unfinished or defective, with photos, and ask for a repair date within a set time, for example 14 days.

Check the payment schedule in your contract, and do not sign a completion certificate or approve a final payment to the company or its lender until the work is done. If the company does not fix the problem, file a complaint with the agency that licenses it in your state, using the license number the company lists:

  • Maryland. The Maryland Home Improvement Commission takes complaints against licensed contractors and salespeople; the company lists home improvement contractor license 166272. A complaint and a Guaranty Fund claim are separate filings. The Guaranty Fund can pay up to $30,000 per homeowner, but not more than the amount paid to the contractor, if the contractor was licensed when the contract was signed, and the claim must be filed within three years of discovering the loss.
  • Florida. The Department of Business and Professional Regulation licenses general contractors; the company lists Florida general contractor license CGC1538050.
  • Michigan. The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs licenses residential builders; the company lists residential builder license 2101216261.
  • Pennsylvania. Home improvement contractors register with the Attorney General, which runs a Home Improvement Consumer Helpline at 1-888-520-6680; the company lists registration PA177783.
  • Other states. Use the state contractor licensing board and the license number shown on the company's Licenses page or your contract. In Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina and Texas the company's state entries are plumbing licenses, so for a remodeling dispute there, go to the state attorney general's consumer protection office.

What the warranty says. The company describes the warranty in different words on different pages. The FAQ states: "Every project comes with our lifetime warranty." The home page says the bathtubs and showers are "backed by a limited lifetime transferrable warranty.

More detailShow less

See rep for details." The Showers page says the showers "include a lifetime transferable warranty," and the Premier Stone page says the material is "Backed by a limited lifetime warranty." None of these pages lists what the warranty covers, what it excludes or how to file a claim, so ask the representative for the written warranty before you sign and keep it with your contract.

Website terms and your contract. The Terms & Conditions on the website (last updated October 1, 2025) say in section 1 that they "apply only to your use of our online and digital Services" and that "All customer projects, including pricing, materials, installation, warranties, and service terms, are governed exclusively by your signed customer contract."

More detailShow less

The arbitration clause in section 13 of those Terms covers the website and online services: binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, a class action waiver, an option to sue in small claims court and Ohio law. Your remodeling contract may contain its own cancellation, warranty and arbitration clauses, so read it in full before signing and again before you file any claim in court.

Financing. The Financing page shows two offers. The first, "18 Months Same-As-Cash," reads: "No interest if paid in full in 18 Months," with this fine print: "No payments are assessed during 18- month promotion starting at approval, but interest is accruing; interest will be reversed if loan is paid off by end of promotion.

More detailShow less

If loan is not paid off in promotion, installment payments begin based on risk-based APR between 14.99% and 23.99% for the remaining life of the loan." The second, "Fixed, Low Rate," offers "Fixed rate pricing for 180 Months" with "Up to 5 interest-only payments followed by 175 amortizing payments." The page does not name the lender, so ask which lender funds the loan, the APR you are offered, the total of payments and the exact payoff date of any same-as-cash period. Problems with the loan itself go to the lender first and, if unresolved, to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at consumerfinance.gov/complaint.

Before work starts. Look up the license number for your state on the state licensing board's website and confirm it is active; the company notes that its license information is subject to renewal.

If the problem is not resolved. Besides the licensing agency, you can file a complaint on the company's BBB profile, which covers the headquarters and corporate-owned locations; with your state attorney general's consumer protection office, or the Ohio Attorney General, since the company is based in Ohio; and with the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Small claims court is an option for a dispute within your court's limit. If you paid by credit card for work that was not delivered as agreed, you can dispute the charge as a billing error under the Fair Credit Billing Act: send a letter to the card issuer's billing-inquiries address so that it arrives within 60 days after the first bill showing the charge was sent to you.

The company's pages call it a "lifetime warranty" (FAQ), a "limited lifetime transferrable warranty" with "See rep for details" (home page) and a "lifetime transferable warranty" (Showers page) and a "limited lifetime warranty" for its Premier Stone material. None of those pages states what is covered or excluded or how to make a claim. Ask the representative for the written warranty before you sign, and keep it with your contract.

How can I cancel a Premier Home Pros contract?

If you signed at your home, or at another place that is not the company's place of business, the window is usually three business days, so act fast. Under the FTC's Cooling-Off Rule you can cancel a covered home sale of $25 or more until midnight of the third business day after signing, Saturdays included, by mailing the cancellation form or a letter to the address in the contract. Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania have similar three-day rules. The FTC rule does not cover a sale completed after negotiations at the seller's permanent place of business or a purchase made to meet an emergency. After that window, or if no cancellation right applies, cancellation depends on the terms of your signed contract, which section 1 of the website Terms says governs the project. Send any cancellation in writing with proof of delivery and keep a copy.

Does Premier Home Pros offer financing?

The Financing page lists an "18 Months Same-As-Cash" offer, under which interest accrues during the promotion and is reversed if the loan is paid off by the end of it, with a risk-based APR between 14.99% and 23.99% if it is not. It also lists a "Fixed, Low Rate" plan over 180 months, with up to 5 interest-only payments followed by 175 amortizing payments. The page does not name a lender, so ask for the lender's name, the APR and the total of payments before you sign.

Who owns Premier Home Pros?

A company press release of March 24, 2025 names Augustine Wadian, Noah Jackson and Vince Venditti as its co-owners; Wadian and Jackson founded it at the end of 2022 and Venditti joined as co-owner at the end of 2024. The website names Premier Home Pros, LLC as the owner and operator of its online services.

Is Premier Home Pros licensed to work in my state?

The company's Licenses page lists contractor, home improvement, residential builder or plumbing licenses or registrations in 16 states, among them Florida general contractor CGC1538050, Maryland home improvement contractor 166272, Michigan residential builder 2101216261 and Pennsylvania home improvement registration PA177783, plus several city and county licenses. In Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina and Texas the state entries are plumbing licenses. Look up the number for your state on the state licensing board's website and confirm that it is active before work begins.

How do I stop Premier Home Pros text messages?

Section 8 of the website Terms says to reply "STOP" to unsubscribe from the text program and "HELP" for assistance, and gives the frequency as up to 25 messages per month. The Contact Us form states that consent to texts is not a condition of purchase.

Where can I file a complaint about Premier Home Pros?

Start with the company's service line, 734-224-2779, and put the request in writing. If that does not resolve it, complain to the agency that licenses the company in your state, such as the Maryland Home Improvement Commission, Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulation or Michigan's Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, and to your state attorney general; in Pennsylvania the Attorney General's Home Improvement Consumer Helpline is 1-888-520-6680. You can also file on the company's BBB profile and report to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. If you paid by credit card for work that was not delivered as agreed, you can dispute the charge as a billing error under the Fair Credit Billing Act; your letter must reach the card issuer within 60 days after the first bill showing the charge was sent to you.
