Cancel, skip, refund or report a warm or damaged order

Cancel or skip a subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel or change them, and the company emails a reminder 5 days before each charge.

More detailShow less

To manage one, sign in at onceuponafarmorganics.com with the person icon (there is no password: choose Continue with Shop, or have a six-digit code sent to the email address on the subscription), open the subscription portal and choose Skip, Reschedule, Edit or Cancel subscription. Cancelling asks for an optional reason and a confirmation. The company warns that cancelling forfeits all credits and reward milestones, and that Skip or Reschedule can push the next order out by up to 90 days instead.

The cut-off. The Cancellation Policy allows cancellation until 11:59 pm Eastern time one day before the stated charge date; the help center gives 11:59 pm Pacific time the day before the charge date, and says orders are processed just after midnight on the charge date.

More detailShow less

Eastern time is the earlier of the two deadlines, so cancel before 11:59 pm Eastern on the day before the charge date; cancelling a day or more earlier leaves a margin. Keep the confirmation email or a screenshot.

Orders already charged. The Cancellation Policy says all purchases are final and that once an order has been prepared it cannot be cancelled or changed; the help center adds that changes made after the charge apply to the next order.

Refunds. The Refund Policy says all sales are final and returns are not accepted, but the company will issue credit, add product to a future order, reship or refund for products damaged in transit, decided case by case.

More detailShow less

Email [email protected] or call 888-983-1606 with the order number, a description of the damaged item, its condition on arrival with a photo, and the date and time the package arrived.

Pouches that arrive warm or meals that arrive thawed. The company's help article asks parents not to feed warm pouches or thawed meals to a child. Photograph the items and the packaging, note whether they feel warm, cool or fully thawed, and email [email protected] with the order number or the name on the order; the company says its team will decide next steps, which may include a replacement or a refund. Refrigerated oat bars are the exception and may stay unrefrigerated for up to 7 days.

Contacts. Phone 888-983-1606 (Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday 8:00 to 11:00 am Pacific time), text 415-233-7672, email [email protected], and live chat and a contact form on the Contact Us page.

If the company does not resolve it. For a credit card charge you did not authorize, or a promised refund that never arrives, dispute it in writing with the card issuer; under the Fair Credit Billing Act the issuer must receive your dispute within 60 days after it sent the first statement showing the charge. That law covers credit cards only: for a debit card, PayPal or Shop Pay payment, contact your bank or payment provider as soon as possible, because their dispute rules and deadlines differ. Billing or subscription problems can also be reported to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, to your state attorney general and to the BBB. Because the company is based in California, you can also file a consumer complaint with the California Attorney General at oag.ca.gov. The Terms require any claim against the company to be brought within one year. Food-safety problems go to the FDA Safety Reporting Portal or 1-888-SAFEFOOD.

Court cases: a 2026 label-claim class action and a 2021 website-access case

Parashos v. Once Upon A Farm (N.D. Cal. 26-cv-00314-EMC). A putative class action that Alexa Parashos filed in Alameda County Superior Court on November 21, 2025; the company removed it to federal court on January 12, 2026. She alleged under California consumer-protection law that calling the Wild Rumpus Avocado pouch a "Fruit & Veggie Blend" was misleading, arguing that its ingredients (pineapple, banana, apple, avocado and mint) include no vegetables. The company's 10-K describes the suit as seeking to have the pouch called only a "Fruit Blend." On August 7, 2026 Judge Edward M. Chen granted the company's motion to dismiss on all counts without leave to amend, which means the complaint cannot be amended and refiled in this case.

Tavarez v. Once Upon A Farm, PBC (S.D.N.Y. 1:21-cv-09974). A putative class action under the Americans with Disabilities Act filed November 24, 2021 by Victoriano Tavarez, one of a series of similar suits he brought against company websites that year. It alleged that the Once Upon a Farm website lacked screen-reader accommodations for blind and low-vision users.

Earlier label claims. The 10-K says the company faced legal claims in California over the phrases "4g Plant Protein," "Omega-3's" and "Excellent Source of Choline," and that those claims were resolved and settled for an immaterial amount. The filing does not name the cases.

Advertising review. In October 2022 the National Advertising Division of BBB National Programs (case 7133) looked at an Instagram post saying the Advanced Nutrition Baby Fruit & Veggies Blend was formulated with prebiotics, probiotics, iron, vitamin B12, zinc and DHA, shown with brain and flexed-arm emojis. The company permanently discontinued the claim, so NAD did not rule on whether it was supported.

Company position. The 10-K says the company does not believe any legal proceedings or claims pending against it are material.

Business. Once Upon a Farm, PBC is a Delaware public benefit corporation with principal executive offices at 950 Gilman Street, Suite 100, Berkeley, California (Form 10-K for 2025). The company says Cassandra Curtis founded it in 2015 with Ari Raz; in 2017 John Foraker, the former chief executive of Annie's, and actor Jennifer Garner joined them. The 10-K lists Foraker as chief executive officer, co-founder and chair, and Curtis and Garner as co-founders and directors. Its common stock began trading on the NYSE on February 6, 2026 under the symbol OFRM. It sells organic baby, toddler and kids food: refrigerated pouches made with high-pressure processing (HPP, which uses pressure instead of heat to kill bacteria), frozen meals, refrigerated oat bars and dry baby snacks. The 10-K names Target, Whole Foods, Kroger, Walmart, Publix and Wegmans among its retail customers; the company also sells on its own website, where it offers subscription boxes.

Shipping and freshness (company terms). Orders are usually processed Monday to Wednesday and sent by standard 2-day delivery to the 48 contiguous states and D.C.; the Terms say refrigerated and frozen products should arrive within 3 to 9 days of purchase and that there are no weekend deliveries. The company says it makes every effort to ship refrigerated pouches with at least two weeks before expiration and frozen meals and pantry snacks with at least 45 days. Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories are not served, and PO Box orders are cancelled and refunded. Pouches can be frozen until the expiration date for up to 6 months and must be eaten within 24 hours of thawing if the expiration date has passed.

Testing claims (company statements). The company's FAQ says it tests for "heavy metals (including lead), pesticides, and other contaminants" through supplier testing, in-house testing and independent testing by the nonprofit Clean Label Project, and that its baby food holds the Clean Label Project Purity Award. These are the company's own statements, not results published by a regulator.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I cancel a Once Upon a Farm subscription?

Sign in at onceuponafarmorganics.com with the person icon (no password: use Continue with Shop or a six-digit code sent to the email address on the subscription), open the subscription portal, select Cancel subscription and confirm. Do it before 11:59 pm Eastern time on the day before your charge date, the cut-off in the Cancellation Policy (the help center gives 11:59 pm Pacific). Cancelling forfeits credits and reward milestones; Skip or Reschedule can delay the next order by up to 90 days instead.

Can I cancel after my order has been charged?

The company's rules do not allow it. The Cancellation Policy says all purchases are final and that a prepared order cannot be cancelled or changed, and the help center says the same once an order has been charged or prepared; changes then apply to the next order. If you were charged after cancelling in time, or did not expect the charge, email [email protected] or call 888-983-1606 with the order number and your cancellation confirmation. If that fails, you can dispute a credit card charge with your card issuer within 60 days of the statement that shows it.

Does Once Upon a Farm give refunds?

Only in limited cases. The Refund Policy says all sales are final and returns are not accepted, but the company will issue credit, add product to a future order, reship or refund for products damaged in transit, case by case. For pouches that arrive warm or meals that arrive thawed, the help center says the care team decides next steps, which may include a replacement or a refund. For damaged items, send the order number, a description of the item, its condition on arrival with a photo, and the date and time the package arrived to [email protected] or call 888-983-1606. A charge after you cancelled before the cut-off is a billing error: raise it with customer care and, if needed, with your card issuer.

What if my pouches or meals arrive warm or thawed?

The company's help article says not to feed the affected blends or meals to your child, to photograph the items and packaging, and to email [email protected] with the order number; it says the Care Team will help determine next steps that may include a replacement or refund. Refrigerated oat bars may stay unrefrigerated for up to 7 days.

Has Once Upon a Farm had a recall?

The FDA Enforcement Report database lists one record for the firm: F-1282-2024, a voluntary, firm-initiated Class II recall begun May 17, 2024 of 95 units of Organic Plant-Rich Meal, Curried Carrots & Beans (3.5 oz frozen pouches, Best When Used By 4/17/2025, UPC 81000351838) for potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The FDA terminated the recall on January 31, 2025. It is the only Once Upon a Farm recall in the FDA Enforcement Report database.

What happened in the Wild Rumpus Avocado label lawsuit?

It was dismissed. In Parashos v. Once Upon A Farm (N.D. Cal. 26-cv-00314-EMC), a putative class action, plaintiff Alexa Parashos alleged that calling the Wild Rumpus Avocado pouch a "Fruit & Veggie Blend" was misleading, arguing that its ingredients (pineapple, banana, apple, avocado and mint) include no vegetables. On August 7, 2026 Judge Edward M. Chen granted the company's motion to dismiss on all counts without leave to amend.

How do I contact Once Upon a Farm customer care?

Call 888-983-1606 (Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Saturday 8:00 to 11:00 am Pacific time), text 415-233-7672 or email [email protected]. The Contact Us page also has live chat and a contact form with subjects such as Cancellation and Order Status/Info; [email protected] is for media only. For a product question, include the product name, the Enjoy By date and all codes printed next to it. The mailing address is 2111 San Pablo Avenue, Suite 2216, Berkeley, CA 94702. The Terms name a different address for a formal Notice of Dispute, [email protected]; because its domain differs from the customer-care addresses, send any such notice to both [email protected] and [email protected] and keep a copy of what you sent.

Do the terms require arbitration?

For most disputes they do. Under the Governing Law and Dispute Resolution part of the Terms and Conditions (last updated November 3, 2025), disputes go to final, binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules, and both sides waive class and representative actions. Claims that qualify for small claims court can be brought there instead, and intellectual-property claims are excluded. Before filing, you must email a signed written Notice of Dispute to [email protected] (the address the Terms give; its domain differs from the [email protected] customer-care address, so send it to both and keep proof of sending) with your name, street address, email, phone number, a description of the claim and the relief you want; the parties then have 60 days to try to settle. A separate clause, Limitation on Time to File Claims, requires any claim to be brought within one year after it arises.
