My Patriot Supply orders, returns and refunds: what the BBB-published policy says and where to complain (checked October 7, 2026)
My Patriot Supply's own website could not be read for this page: on October 7, 2026 it returned a Cloudflare block page to our browser, so the company's current terms, shipping and contact pages were not reviewed. The return terms below come from the refund policy that the company has published on its BBB profile, which BBB shows as the company's submitted text.
Return policy as shown on BBB. It says: 'We extend a 30 day, no-questions-asked return policy on unopened, unused products.' It continues that upon receipt of the returned items in their original packaging and condition at the purchaser's expense, MPS will credit the original method of payment 'less delivery charges', and that 'If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a credit or refund.' It asks for a receipt or proof of purchase, says not to send a purchase back to the manufacturer, and gives an address for authorized returns at 4325 W Commercial Way, Suite D, Salt Lake City, UT 84104. It also says the customer pays return shipping and that shipping costs are non-refundable.
Contact. The same BBB text says to call 866-229-0927 Monday to Friday 11AM to 8PM EST and Saturday 11AM to 3PM EST, or to use the email contact on the company's site. BBB lists a second phone number, (888) 411-7017. Keep the order number, photos of any damaged or defective item and copies of emails.
If the company does not resolve it. You can file a complaint with BBB for this profile (the company has an A+ rating and BBB Accredited status as displayed), post a review on Trustpilot, report to your state attorney general's consumer protection office, or report to the Federal Trade Commission. If you paid by credit card, your card issuer has its own dispute process with its own deadlines; check your card agreement. Other companies with a similar name exist, so confirm that the order confirmation and the website match the operator described on this page.
Advertising self-regulation: the May 2023 NAD decision on My Patriot Supply survival food kits
On 2026-10-07 we searched the CPSC recalls API (terms listed in the source note), CourtListener dockets by case name and the BBB National Programs decision library; no CPSC recall record or federal court action by a government agency was identified in those searches. We did not search FTC or state attorney general enforcement pages, so this is not a statement about government enforcement generally. One self-regulatory decision was found. On May 3, 2023 the National Advertising Division (NAD) of BBB National Programs published a decision on a challenge by 4Patriots LLC, a competitor in the shelf-stable survival food business, about advertising for My Patriot Supply's long-term survival food kits sold under the Ready Hour brand.
NAD said certain claims were supported and that certain challenged advertisements did not convey misleading implied messages. It recommended that MPS discontinue or modify claims that:
- survival kits contain fresh fruit (NAD called the claim that freeze-dried fruit products are fresh 'false');
- photographs exaggerate the ingredients in kits (it addressed the Black Bean Burger imagery, which did not clearly disclose that the product is a mix);
- long-term survival kits contain 2,000+ calories per day (NAD found some instances carried a clear and conspicuous disclosure and many did not);
- kits are Made in the U.S.A. (NAD said that foreign ingredients must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed for products that contain them; MPS had already added the wording 'Made in the U.S.A. from Domestic and/or Imported ingredients' for kits made primarily of foreign ingredients);
- kits are 'home-cooked' (NAD noted the product is manufactured at a plant);
- sales are limited in duration (NAD asked MPS to ensure time-limited claims are in fact limited); and
- website ratings include all product reviews (NAD recommended that MPS post all reviews, subject to its policy against vulgar or offensive language, while noting the parties disputed whether reviews were manipulated).
NAD also found several challenged claims supported, including that imagery for several named products (for example the Vegetarian Taco Meat Substitute, Long Grain White Rice and Buttermilk Pancake Mix) did not imply ingredients that are not in the products, and that the images of bowls and food did not exaggerate serving sizes. During the proceeding MPS voluntarily agreed to permanently discontinue certain claims for its 1-Year and 6-Month emergency food supply kits and some other food-related claims, so NAD did not review those on the merits. In its advertiser statement MPS said that while it 'stands behind the accuracy of the few claims that the NAD recommended be discontinued, MPS is a strong supporter of the self-regulatory process and will comply with NAD's recommendations.' This is a self-regulatory recommendation, not a court judgment or a government order. We did not check what the company's advertising says today, because its site could not be opened.
Who runs My Patriot Supply: the operating entity, location and what BBB and registries show
My Patriot Supply (abbreviated MPS in the NAD decision) sells emergency preparedness goods; BBB categorizes it as 'Emergency Disaster Preparedness' and the NAD decision describes long-term survival food kits sold under the Ready Hour brand. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office lists the owner of the MY PATRIOT SUPPLY registrations (classes 029, 031 and 035) as Patriot Supply Store, Inc., a Nevada corporation. The Utah Division of Corporations lists PATRIOT SUPPLY STORE, INC. as an active foreign business corporation (entity number 10118559-0143, filed October 4, 2016). BBB lists the headquarters at 1175 S Meridian Park Rd, Ste A, Salt Lake City, UT 84104 and a business incorporation date of November 21, 2013, which is the same date as the filing date of an earlier, now administratively dissolved, Utah registration under the name Patriot Supply Store Inc. BBB does not state the legal entity name, so the link between the BBB file and Patriot Supply Store, Inc. is based on the trademark owner record, the Utah registry and the court filings below, and was not confirmed from the company's own terms page, which could not be opened.
BBB shows the business as BBB Accredited since 2018 (raw page data: accredited 2018-05-09, file opened 2018-05-01) and gives a business-start date of 2008-03-30 (a BBB data field; we did not verify the company's own founding date). In a March 12, 2025 disclosure statement in a Maryland federal case, Patriot Supply Store Inc. identified 'Ready Alliance Group, Inc.' as an 'Other Affiliate'; the docket text does not describe the relationship further.
