Mayline USA

Mayline USA (also searched as "Mayline Loan") is an online business at maylineusa.com and maylineusa.net that presents itself as a personal-loan and debt-consolidation lender. Since April 2026, multiple independent reports (BBB Scam Tracker, ScamPulse, and other trackers) describe unsolicited calls and texts from callers using first-name aliases such as "Stephanie" and "Nancy" who claim to be following up on a loan application the recipient says they never submitted. USAComplaints could not find a state lending license for this name, and the maylineusa.com domain was registered in February 2026 - years after the site's own claim of operating "since 2020." This business is unrelated to the long-established Mayline/Mayline Office furniture manufacturer, which is a different company in a different industry.

About Mayline USA

Mayline USA describes itself on its own website, maylineusa.com, as a financial-services company offering balance transfers for high-interest credit card debt, home equity solutions, and unsecured personal loans up to $50,000, stating it has "successfully connected thousands of clients" since 2020.

A near-identical site, maylineusa.net, offers the same three products under the same "Mayline USA" branding and lists a [email protected] contact address - pointing back to the .com domain and indicating the two sites are run by the same operator rather than being unrelated lookalikes.

Public domain-registration data (cross-checked independently via scamadviser.com and gridinsoft.com) shows maylineusa.com was registered on February 1, 2026 - about six months before this profile was written, and years after the site's own "since 2020" claim.

The address the site lists, 1950 West Corporate Way, PMB 25183, Anaheim, CA 92801, is a private-mailbox suite inside a shared mail-drop building where at least 81 other business entities are registered, not a dedicated corporate office.

Is Mayline USA Legitimate?

USAComplaints checked and did not find a lending license for "Mayline USA" or "Mayline Loan" in NMLS Consumer Access, the licensing database consumer lenders and loan brokers register with. A search of California's Department of Financial Protection and Innovation regulated-entities list could not be completed against a static result (the tool is JavaScript-driven), and NMLS Consumer Access blocked automated access - we could not positively confirm or rule out a license through those tools directly, but no independent source we found (news, regulator releases, or licensing directories) documents one. No CFPB enforcement action against this name appears on consumerfinance.gov/enforcement/actions/ as of this check. A direct BBB.org business-directory search for "Mayline" returned no accredited business profile at all - the only BBB presence found is consumer-submitted Scam Tracker reports, not a rated business listing. The site's own copyright footer reads "© 2026 Mayline USA, LLC"; a direct search of the California Secretary of State's business-entity database (bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov) -- the state matching the site's own Anaheim mailing address -- returns zero results for "Mayline USA," meaning no such LLC is registered there under that name. A search of Wyoming's own Secretary of State business registry (wyobiz.wyo.gov) does turn up a similarly named, active entity -- "MAYLINE USA, INC." (Filing ID 2025-001782007), a domestic profit corporation formed October 2, 2025, with Guillermo Jalil listed as President/Director, at a principal and mailing address of 202 South 2nd Street, Suite A, Laramie, WY 82070. This is a different entity type (Inc., not the LLC the site's own footer claims), a different state, and a different address than the one the site publishes; no connection between this Wyoming corporation and the maylineusa.com/.net operation has been established.

Since April 2026, at least four independent reports - two separate BBB Scam Tracker submissions (filed April 23 and May 21, 2026, from California and Utah), a ScamPulse.com report (May 8, 2026, from Pennsylvania), and an Ecautious.com report (May 19, 2026) - describe a consistent pattern: an unsolicited call or text from someone giving only a first name ("Stephanie" in three reports, "Nancy" in one), claiming to follow up on a personal loan request the recipient says they never made. Reports cite several different phone numbers: (855) 417-7888, (949) 607-1250, (866) 581-2702, and a text originating from (984) 255-1226. BBB categorizes these specific reports under its "Advance Fee Loan" scam-type tag. None of the individual reports we read documented a specific dollar amount requested or an actual reported financial loss. Additional reports under this name have continued to be filed since: a live BBB Scam Tracker search directly this session found further entries dated into June 2026, including at least one tagged "Phishing" rather than "Advance Fee Loan" -- this remains an ongoing, not a one-time, pattern.

Notably, the phone number Mayline USA lists on its own site, 1-844-658-2515, does not match any of the phone numbers consumers reported being contacted from. We could not confirm whether the outbound calls described in these reports originate from the same operator as the website, or whether the Mayline USA name is itself being used without the website operator's involvement - either way, we could not verify this business is a licensed lender.

This name is unrelated to Mayline (also called Mayline Office), the office-furniture manufacturer founded in 1939 and headquartered in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, now operating under Safco Products. That company makes drafting tables, desks, and office furniture, has no lending business, and we found no connection between it and the reports described here.

What To Do If You're Contacted

If someone contacts you claiming to be from "Mayline USA" or "Mayline Loan" about a loan you did not apply for: legitimate lenders do not require an upfront fee, gift cards, or wire transfer before releasing loan funds. Don't give a Social Security number, or bank account or card details, over an inbound call or text you didn't initiate.

  • Don't call back the number the caller/texter gives you - look up the lender independently first.
  • Verify any lender's license through your state's financial regulator (in California, the DFPI) before sending money or personal information.
  • If you never applied for a loan, you can ask to be added to the caller's do-not-contact list and report the number.
  • Report a suspected scam to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov and to BBB Scam Tracker.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Mayline USA a legitimate lender?

USAComplaints could not find a state lending license for this name in NMLS Consumer Access or in a CFPB enforcement-action search (checked August 2026), and a direct BBB.org business search returned no accredited profile for it. Multiple independent complaint reports since April 2026 describe unsolicited loan follow-up calls and texts matching BBB's "Advance Fee Loan" scam category. We could not fully verify the identity of the business behind maylineusa.com and maylineusa.net.

Who is calling or texting me about a "Mayline" loan I never applied for?

Multiple consumers report unsolicited contact from callers giving only a first name ("Stephanie" or "Nancy") from one of several numbers - (855) 417-7888, (949) 607-1250, (866) 581-2702, or (984) 255-1226 - claiming to follow up on a personal loan application. If you never applied, treat the contact as unsolicited and don't share personal or financial information.

Is Mayline USA the same company as Mayline office furniture?

No. The office-furniture manufacturer Mayline (Mayline Office) was founded in 1939, is headquartered in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and now operates under Safco Products. We found no connection between it and the lending-related "Mayline USA" website or the loan-related complaints described on this page.

Should I pay an upfront fee to get a loan from Mayline USA / Mayline Loan?

No. Legitimate lenders don't require you to pay a fee, buy gift cards, or wire money before releasing loan funds. BBB categorizes the consumer reports about this name as "Advance Fee Loan" scam reports. If you're asked to pay anything before receiving loan funds, stop and independently verify the lender's license first.
