Kriya Capital, LLC: what the name means on a collection letter or credit report, and how to dispute (checked October 7, 2026)
Who this page covers. Kriya Capital, LLC is a Dallas, Texas investment firm. Its website says it is “an Investment Firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas” and its Portfolio page lists three companies: Credence Resource Management, LLC (accounts receivable management), Innoval Global Solutions LLC (revenue cycle management) and iValuate Global Technologies, LLC (compliance and audit technology). A 2021 federal court filing by Credence identifies Kriya Capital, LLC as Credence’s “Corporate Parent.” The CFPB Consumer Complaint Database lists a large number of debt collection and credit reporting complaints under the company name “Kriya Capital, LLC” (see the complaint-record section). The database does not say which business handled each complaint, and this page does not assume it.
If Kriya Capital or Credence appears on a letter, call or credit report entry.
- Read the letter for the collector’s name, the creditor’s name and the amount. The CFPB says validation information includes “the name of the creditor, the amount you owe, and how to dispute the debt.” (CFPB page: “What should I do when a debt collector contacts me?”) A separate CFPB page lists what the validation notice generally must include: a statement that the communication is from a debt collector, your name and mailing information and the collector’s, the creditor’s name, the account number (if any), an itemization of the current amount since a particular date, the current amount, information you can use to reply, and “an end date for a 30-day period when you can dispute the debt.” A collector is a different business from the original creditor.
- The CFPB says that if you send the collector the written verification request within that 30-day period, “the debt collector must pause collecting the amount of the debt you are disputing” until it has adequately responded. It also says: “Never give sensitive financial information to the caller, at least not until you’ve confirmed they’re legitimate.”
- The CFPB says that in certain situations you “only have 30 days” after you are contacted to ask for certain information, and that even if more than 30 days pass, it is still a good idea to ask. Put the request in writing and keep copies.
- Credence’s own contact page (opened October 7, 2026) gives, for Credence: written disputes to Credence Resource Management, LLC, 1111 Digital Drive, Suite 101, Richardson TX 75081; a disputes line 1-855-880-4792; and [email protected]. The same page lists a separate correspondence address, PO Box 2300, Southgate, MI 48195-4300, which it does not designate for disputes. Use the address on your own letter if it differs.
- Kriya Capital’s own contact page lists only [email protected] and a Dallas address (4222 Trinity Mills Rd, Suite 200) and no phone number. It does not describe a consumer dispute process.
- For a wrong credit report entry, the CFPB says to “explain in writing what you think is wrong, why, and include copies of documents that support your dispute,” send it to the credit reporting company, and also dispute with the furnisher (the CFPB says to send furnisher disputes in writing, using certified mail); furnishers “generally must investigate and respond to your dispute within 30 days of when they receive the dispute.”
- You can tell a collector to stop contacting you: the CFPB says “You have the right to tell a debt collector to stop contacting you.”
- To complain to a regulator, the CFPB takes complaints online at consumerfinance.gov/complaint/ and by phone at (855) 411-2372. State attorneys general also take collection complaints.

Portfolio. The Portfolio page lists Credence Resource Management, LLC (“Compliant Business Solutions for Accounts Receivables Management and Asset Protection for healthcare, telecommunication and retail industry verticals”), Innoval Global Solutions LLC and iValuate Global Technologies, LLC. A January 2019 Kriya announcement calls Credence “Kriya Capital’s flagship receivables management enterprise” and says the assets of Receivable Solutions Specialist Inc. (Natchez, Mississippi) would be acquired by Credence, effective January 7, 2019. A February 2020 press release says Kriya acquired MedStat Accounts Receivable Management, Inc. (Mesa, Arizona) effective December 3, 2019, and that MedStat stock was acquired by Innoval Global Solutions.
Credence Resource Management, LLC is a separate company. In this page’s sources it appears with a Richardson, Texas corporate office (1111 Digital Drive, Suite 101) and, on its Contact Us page beneath its contact details, a list of license or permit numbers (“Credence is licensed with the following license or permit numbers”; for example CT CCA-1134094, CA 10735-99, MD 1134094 and NV C A D11478, as displayed October 7, 2026). That page does not mention Kriya. Kriya’s Portfolio page describes Credence as “Headquartered Dallas, Texas,” while Credence’s contact page and BBB list a Richardson, Texas corporate office; both statements are the companies’ own. The Romero disclosure statement (Doc. 4, October 26, 2021) is the primary document that links the two.

Top consumer states are TX (2,909), FL (2,095), GA (1,703), CA (1,553) and IL (940). These are complaints submitted to the CFPB, not findings that any was true, and they are not combined with any other figure on this page. The database does not state which Kriya portfolio company a complaint concerns, and a company-name suggestion search for “credence” returned only “Credence Funding Corporation” on that date, not Credence Resource Management.
FTC Consumer Sentinel (separate, month-specific figure). The FTC’s “Top 50 Companies Receiving Consumer Sentinel Network Complaints” report for January 2025 ranks “Credence Resource Management” 42nd, with 622 complaints entered during January 1–31, 2025, under the product/service code “Creditor Debt Collection.” This is a one-month count of complaints entered by consumers and others, not a finding, and it is not combined with the CFPB or BBB figures. This page did not search other months’ reports.
BBB. BBB search for “Kriya Capital” returned no results on October 7, 2026. BBB has a separate profile for Credence Resource Management LLC, Richardson, TX (“Headquarters,” BBB Accredited, rated B as displayed on October 7, 2026). This is Credence’s file, not a Kriya Capital file.

Trustpilot has a separate page for Credence Resource Management (credencerm.com, listed under “BPO Company”) showing a score of 2.4 from 8 reviews and an “Unclaimed profile” label as displayed on October 7, 2026. Trustpilot adds: “This company hasn’t invited their customers, so reviews may not be representative.” These are user reviews on Trustpilot, kept separate from the BBB and CFPB figures above.
This site’s archive. A search of this site’s archive on October 7, 2026 for “Kriya” and for “Credence Resource” found no approved complaint posts, so no complaints from this site are linked to this page.
State and regulator records naming Credence Resource Management
Minnesota Department of Commerce, 2016. An FTC press release dated March 30, 2016 (“FTC and Illinois Attorney General Halt Chicago-Area Operation Charged with Collecting and Selling Phantom Payday Loan Debts”) summarizes actions by state and local partners under Operation Collection Protection. It states: “The Minnesota Department of Commerce took eight actions. It imposed fines of up to $50,000 against Alliant Capital Management LLC, Premier Recovery Group JD and Associates, Mountain West Legal Solutions, Credence Resource Management LLC, Selene Finance, and Credit Protection Association for various violations, including failing to obtain a collection agency license, failing to properly register collectors, and using deceptive, abusive, or unlawful collection tactics.” The release gives one range for the group; it does not state Credence’s individual fine or which violation applied to which company, and the underlying Minnesota order was not read for this page. The FTC release is about the Minnesota action, not an FTC action against Credence.
Scope of this check. In the sources opened on October 7, 2026 (FTC press release; CourtListener dockets; CFPB, BBB and Trustpilot pages), no other regulator action naming Kriya Capital or Credence was identified. State collection-agency license registers and state attorney general sites were not searched individually for this page, so that is not a statement about those records. Credence lists its license or permit numbers on its Contact Us page.
Court filings naming Kriya Capital, LLC
Entries below come from CourtListener docket pages read on October 7, 2026 (complaint and disclosure-statement text read October 6, 2026). A complaint states a plaintiff’s allegations. The dockets do not show a court finding against Kriya Capital in either case, and the terms of the settlements noted below are not shown on the docket text read for this page.
Jackson v. Credence Resource Management LLC, No. 1:21-cv-02643 (N.D. Ga.). Filed June 30, 2021 against Credence Resource Management LLC, Credence Global Solutions LLC and Kriya Capital LLC under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act. The complaint alleges that the plaintiff received more than 50 calls from July 7 to August 7, 2020 about a medical debt owed by her mother, that she told callers she was not her mother and did not owe the debt, and that she received no written notices. As to Kriya, the complaint alleges “upon information and belief” that Kriya “through its operation and control” of the two Credence companies is a debt collector, citing Kriya’s website. An amended complaint was filed September 3, 2021; this page did not read it and does not say whether Kriya remained a party. The docket shows a notice of settlement on April 8, 2022 and an order terminating the case on April 11, 2022.
Romero v. Credence Resource Management, LLC, No. 6:21-cv-01741 (M.D. Fla.). The federal docket opened October 19, 2021 (the docket includes a motion to remand to state court). On October 26, 2021 Credence filed a corporate disclosure statement “identifying Corporate Parent Kriya Capital, LLC.” On January 10, 2022 the court stayed the case pending the Eleventh Circuit’s decision in Hunstein v. Preferred Collection & Management Services, Inc., No. 19-14434. A notice of settlement was filed July 21, 2022 and an order is dated August 5, 2022 (its text was not read). The docket text read does not state the claims.
Both dockets were re-opened newest-first on October 7, 2026; the latest entries are the ones noted above. That check does not cover state courts, and this page did not run a further CourtListener name search.
Is Kriya Capital Legitimate?
Facts checked on October 7, 2026. Kriya Capital, LLC has a website with a Dallas, Texas address, named partners and a list of portfolio companies. A 2021 federal court filing names it as the corporate parent of Credence Resource Management, LLC, which BBB lists as BBB Accredited with a B rating and which lists state and city license or permit numbers on its Contact Us page. The CFPB database lists 19,201 complaints under the name “Kriya Capital, LLC,” mostly about debt collection and credit reporting (see the complaint-record section). Two 2021 federal cases name Kriya or identify it as parent; each ended in a notice of settlement with terms not shown on the docket text read. An FTC press release dated March 30, 2016 lists Credence Resource Management LLC among companies fined “up to $50,000” by the Minnesota Department of Commerce (see the regulator section). State licensing registers and attorney general sites were not searched individually, so their absence here is not a finding.
If you are contacted about a debt, the practical checks are the ones in the first section: written validation request, the creditor’s name and amount, and dispute rights with both the collector and the credit reporting company.
