Javvy Coffee

Javvy Coffee is a direct-to-consumer coffee brand (coffee concentrate, protein coffee, protein creamer and syrups) sold at javvycoffee.com; its Terms of Sale name Javvy Coffee Company, Summerville, South Carolina, as the site's owner. Subscriptions bill every 30 days until cancelled, and the company's own pages give different cancellation and refund wording, which this page sets out side by side. The page also reports the company's BBB and Trustpilot records separately, three court dockets that name the company, and the checks made for FDA, FTC and state attorney general matters.

Subscribed to Javvy Coffee or charged for a subscription? What to check

Javvy Coffee Company sells through javvycoffee.com. Its Terms of Sale say: "If you purchase a subscription, it is automatically billed every thirty (30) days to the credit card you provided when you purchased the subscription until you cancel the subscription." Javvy's subscription page describes the option this way: "Just head to any product page and select the Subscribe & Save option before adding to cart. Your subscription will be automatically set up at checkout." A product page (Protein Coffee, checked 2026-09-30) shows "Subscribe & Save Every 30 days" alongside a separate "One-time Purchase" option and the wording "NO CONTRACT cancel easily". Javvy's Help Center says the one-time option is available: "When you are ready to add an item to your cart simply click 'one-time purchase'."

How to cancel, skip or reactivate, per Javvy's Help Center:

  • Cancel: "You can easily cancel your subscription by visiting the customer portal. Once you have logged in simply click Manage Subscriptions from the right hand side of the page." The portal page (checked 2026-09-30) shows an email field and a "Send Login Code" button. The Terms of Sale add: "You may also cancel your subscription by emailing customer support at [email protected]."
  • Skip: "You can skip the next order on your subscription in our customer portal and selecting 'Manage Subscriptions' from there you will be able to change your frequency or skip a shipment!"
  • Reactivate: in the portal, "Scroll to the bottom of the page, here you will find all active and past subscriptions. Simply select reactive for the subscription you would like to renew!"

Javvy's own pages state different cancellation cutoffs. The Terms of Sale say: "you must cancel your subscription three days prior to your next billing date in order to not receive your next scheduled order." The Refund Policy says: "For subscription renewals and repeat orders, cancellations must be made before your payment method is charged, as our system begins preparing orders quickly to ensure fast delivery. Once your payment is processed and the order is in progress at our warehouse, it will not be eligible for a refund." The Subscribe & Save page says: "Once an order has been processed by our warehouse, we're unable to cancel it… If you no longer want future shipments, you can update or cancel your subscription anytime by logging into your account." The Help Center's subscription-benefits article says: "You can always pause or cancel your subscription at any time using our customer portal!" An older help-center site at help.javycoffee.com, whose article pages were still online on 2026-09-30, words its refund article this way: "Please keep in mind subscribers who want to cancel their subscription must do so before the charge is processed. If the order has already been processed in our warehouse it can no longer be canceled." Which wording applies to a particular order is not stated on those pages, so save the confirmation emails and the date and time of any cancellation.

Card updates and shipping charges. The Terms of Sale say: "We may use an account updater to automatically update your credit card information in the event it changes, in which case, your renewal will be billed to the updated account information." Their payment section adds that Javvy and its payment providers "may request, and we may receive, updated credit card information from your credit card issuer, such as updated card numbers and expiration date information when your credit card has expired," and that the issuer "may give you the right to opt-out"; "If you wish to opt-out of your credit card's updating service, you should contact your credit card issuer." On shipping, the Subscribe & Save page says: "Your first subscription order ships free—our treat! After that, a flat $5.95 shipping rate applies to most U.S. orders," and that rates "may vary for international orders and certain U.S. locations like Hawaii, Alaska, and military addresses." The Help Center's subscription-benefits article lists "Discounted shipping on all orders," while the Shipping Policy says only "Shipping charges will be calculated at checkout." The amount charged for a given order appears at checkout and in the order confirmation, so those are worth saving.

Refunds, quoted from Javvy's pages. Refund Policy: "If you're not completely satisfied with your first order, we offer a 100% money-back guarantee within 30 days of delivery. Just reach out to us through our contact form…" The Protein Coffee product page says: "Try it risk-free for 30 days. If you're not totally in love with the product, we will refund you 100%." The Help Center article "How do I start a return?" adds a sentence that the Refund Policy page does not contain: "Please note: shipping fees are non-refundable." For international orders the Refund Policy and the Terms of Sale say "At this time, we do not offer refunds on international orders," while the "How do I start a return?" article says "We want to make sure you're 100% satisfied with your order, so please email us at [email protected] for help." The older help-center article "What is your refund policy?" (help.javycoffee.com) says instead: "Unfortunately at this time we do not offer refunds on international orders or sale items," and, for a first order, "we will refund you 100% within 30 days of you having received it." Approved refunds go to the original payment method "within 5–10 business days." For returns, the Help Center says: "We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. To process your return, you'll need a Javvy-issued return label," requested through the contact form with the order number; "Returns sent to our warehouse without prior approval will not be accepted or refunded."

Lost or wrong items. Help Center, lost orders: if tracking shows delivered but the package is missing, check all possible delivery locations, wait ("the package usually gets delivered in 1-3 days" when a carrier marks it delivered early) and contact the local post office; "If you have still been unsuccessful in getting your package after 7 days of the tracking information showing as delivered, please reach out to us using the contact form." For a problem with an order: "Due to the nature of our products, we ask that you reach out within 15 days of receiving your order." The Terms of Sale say delivery confirmation from the carrier "is deemed sufficient proof of delivery to the card holder, even without a signature." Shipping times are also stated differently: the Terms say "Orders generally ship within 72 business hours" and domestic orders "typically arrive within 7-10 days," while the Shipping Policy says "The orders will be processed within 3 – 7 business days."

Contact and other options. Javvy's Help Center directs customers to a contact form ("Our team typically replies within 48 hours Monday - Friday") and the Terms and Privacy Policy list [email protected]. Other routes a customer can consider are a dispute with the card issuer for a charge they did not authorize, a BBB complaint (Javvy has a BBB profile, described below), or a complaint to a state attorney general or the Federal Trade Commission. Two contract terms matter before filing a claim: the Terms of Sale contain a mandatory arbitration and class-action waiver clause with a 30-day opt-out by letter (details in the FAQ), and they state that, if the company is found liable under any theory, liability and the customer's exclusive remedy are limited to USD $500.00, except where inapplicable or prohibited by law.

Cancel checklist (a practical summary of the steps above, not a Javvy instruction):

  • List every subscription tied to your email address; the reactivation article says the portal page shows "all active and past subscriptions."
  • Cancel at least three days before the next billing date (the Terms of Sale deadline), and keep a screenshot or confirmation email with the date and time.
  • If the portal login does not work, email [email protected], which the Terms of Sale list as a cancellation route, and keep the sent message.

If a renewal was charged. The Refund Policy says an order already in progress at the warehouse "will not be eligible for a refund." A customer who disputes a charge may contact Javvy through the contact form or [email protected] as soon as possible, keep the order number, charge date and any cancellation confirmation, and ask the card issuer what dispute procedures it offers. The Javvy pages checked on 2026-09-30 do not describe a separate appeal process.

Federal background (general, not a statement about Javvy). The FTC's March 2026 advance notice of proposed rulemaking on negative option marketing summarizes the Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA) as prohibiting charging consumers for goods or services sold on the internet through a negative option feature unless the marketer "(1) clearly and conspicuously discloses all material terms of the transaction before obtaining the consumer's billing information; (2) obtains a consumer's express informed consent before charging the consumer's account; and (3) provides simple mechanisms for the consumer to stop recurring charges." The same notice states that in July 2025 the Eighth Circuit vacated the FTC's amended (2024) Negative Option Rule, which reinstated the prior version of the Rule; an FTC Federal Register notice of February 12, 2026 revises the Negative Option Rule to restore that earlier form. No FTC or court finding about Javvy's subscription practices is reported on this page, and nothing here says whether Javvy's practices do or do not meet these requirements.

The 30-day guarantee covers the first order only. The Refund Policy words the guarantee as applying to "your first order"; renewals and repeat orders are covered by the separate wording quoted above. To use the guarantee, the pages say to contact Javvy through the contact form with the order number and to wait for a Javvy-issued return label.

Text messages. The Privacy Policy says: "If you no longer wish to receive promotional messages by text, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any mobile message from Javvy Coffee." It also says signing up to promotional lists gives "express permission" for marketing texts and calls; its "Last Updated" date is December 10, 2025. If texts continue after an opt-out reply, a customer may keep screenshots showing the sender number, message text and timestamps, tell Javvy through the contact form or [email protected], and consider a complaint to the FCC Consumer Complaints Center (consumercomplaints.fcc.gov) or the FTC (reportfraud.ftc.gov); both sites were opened on 2026-09-30.

Right company? Javvy's Help Center warns: "Please ensure that you are contacting the correct company regarding your subscription. Other companies have names that include the word 'Java' or begin with J-A-V, but there is only one JAVVY."

The Terms of Sale page carries no "last updated" date.

Company background

Who operates the site. The Terms of Sale state that javvycoffee.com is "owned and maintained by Javvy Coffee Company," and the site footer reads "© 2026 Javvy Coffee Company." The Terms and Privacy Policy give the mailing address 1318 N. Main St #1101, Summerville, SC 29483. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) shows the word mark JAVVY (Reg. No. 8044232, registered Nov. 25, 2025, goods: "Coffee; Instant coffee") owned by "JAVY COFFEE COMPANY," legal entity type corporation, organized in Delaware, at the same Summerville address. The earlier mark JAVY COFFEE (Reg. No. 6514951) lists the same owner and shows TSDR status "DEAD/REGISTRATION/Surrendered." The BBB profile describes the entity type as "Limited Liability Company (LLC)." The SEC's EDGAR system lists one filing for an issuer named "JAVY COFFEE LLC" (a Form D notice of exempt offering filed October 20, 2021), which gives South Carolina as the jurisdiction, "Limited Liability Company" as the entity type, 2020 as the year of incorporation, and the same Summerville address. No South Carolina or Delaware state business-registry record was retrieved for this page, so the current registered entity behind the site is not established here. This page does not resolve how those records relate to each other. "Javvy Coffee Company" is the name the Terms of Sale and footer use for the site's owner, and this page does not treat it as an established legal name; the USPTO owner name is spelled "Javy," the Terms use "Javvy," and BBB and USPTO describe different entity types (LLC and corporation). The subscriber portal page footer (checked 2026-09-30) still reads "© 2025 Javy Coffee Company."

Javy and Javvy. Javvy's Help Center, in an article titled "Are you Javvy now?", says: "We are Javvy! We've added an extra V to our logo but we are still the same at our core." The older domain javycoffee.com now redirects to javvycoffee.com (checked 2026-09-30), and the site's customer-portal links still pass through a javycoffee.com address before landing on secure.javvycoffee.com. A LinkedIn company page lists 2020 as the founding year (a company-supplied field); BBB's own record shows a business-start date of 2017-01-01 (raw data). The two sources differ (the 2021 Form D above lists 2020 as the issuer's year of incorporation), and none of them is a statement by the company of when the brand began, so this page does not state a founding year.

Products and how they are sold. Javvy's Help Center says it offers "several customizable coffee products from our flavored Coffee Concentrates to our Protein Coffee," and lists protein creamer, syrups and clear protein refreshers. It says one teaspoon of coffee concentrate has "60-80mg of caffeine." Orders are placed on the website as one-time purchases or Subscribe & Save subscriptions; the site also has a "Find a Store" page ("Find Javvy near you"). A current Help Center article, "Where can I buy Javvy Coffee?", says: "You can find our Protein Coffee at your local Sprouts Farmers Market, Wegmans Grocery Store, The Vitamin Shoppe and select Target stores!" The older help-center site at help.javycoffee.com carries an article with the same title (displayed as "Updated 8 months ago") that says: "You can't find us in stores quite yet, but you can shop all of our options here on our website! You can also find us on Amazon!" Both are Javvy statements, and this page does not choose between them or verify which stores stock which products. Both help-center sites also answer "Where is Javvy Coffee located?" with "We don't have a physical location. You can find all things Javvy right here on our website!", while the Terms and Privacy Policy list a mailing address (above); this page does not characterize that address. The Terms of Sale and Refund Policy quoted above are written for orders placed on javvycoffee.com; the checked pages do not state which return or refund policy applies to purchases from third-party retailers.

Bottle seals. Javvy's Help Center says it is transitioning cap styles: "Both cap styles are fully FDA compliant"; the old cap has a tamper-evident neck ring and pop tab, while the new cap has a foil seal under the cap and a pop tab. That is the company's statement; no FDA finding is being reported here.

Complaint record: BBB and Trustpilot, reported separately

USAComplaints: no approved complaints naming Javvy Coffee, Javvy or Javy Coffee were found in this site's database when this page was built (2026-09-30), so this page has no complaint themes of its own.

BBB. The BBB profile for Javvy Coffee (Coffee and Tea; Fort Worth, TX 76177-4522 is the listed headquarters) shows: BBB Accredited (raw data: accredited 2025-02-17), BBB rating A+, BBB file opened 2024-09-18, business started 2017-01-01 and incorporated 2017-01-01 (BBB raw data). The complaints tab reads: "332 total complaints in the last 3 years" and "99 complaints closed in the last 12 months." BBB adds that the complaint text displayed "might not represent all complaints filed with BBB." BBB's filters on the complaints tab list, by status, 243 answered and 89 resolved, and by type, 119 billing issues, 74 product issues, 64 service or repair, 35 delivery, 21 customer service, 15 sales/advertising and 4 order (BBB's own category labels as read from the page data; they describe BBB's classification, not findings about Javvy). The reviews tab shows an average of 4.7 out of 5 from 1,025 customer reviews as displayed on 2026-09-30 (BBB's figures change over time). BBB's rating page states that customer reviews are not used in the letter-grade calculation. These BBB counts are BBB's numbers only, and this page does not combine them with any other source.

Trustpilot. The Trustpilot page for javvycoffee.com (checked 2026-09-30) shows the profile as "Claimed profile," with the labels "October 2024" and "Paid Trustpilot subscription," a TrustScore of 4.4 and 4,991 reviews (the count changes as reviews are posted; 1,349 of them are labelled as posted in the last 12 months). The rating distribution on the page reads 79% five-star, 8% four-star, 2% three-star, 2% two-star and 9% one-star. The page also carries a "Merged reviews and profile" notice: "This profile was merged with one or more other Trustpilot profiles belonging to this company. Some reviews shown here were originally from another profile, but now appear in one place. Profiles can be merged for reasons such as identical domains, rebranding, or change in ownership." The total therefore can include reviews first posted under another profile. Trustpilot shows the notice "No recent history of asking for reviews. This company hasn't invited customers recently, so reviews may not be representative," and states that the company "Replied to 97% of negative reviews." On what the reviews are, Trustpilot's page says: "Reviews are the opinions of individual users and not of Trustpilot" and "Companies on Trustpilot aren't allowed to offer incentives or pay to hide reviews"; a banner reads "We use technology to protect platform integrity, but we don't fact-check reviews," and a "We fight fake reviews" section is listed among its principles.

No CFPB data is used here because Javvy sells consumer coffee products, not financial products. Nothing on this page rates the company; readers can weigh the BBB and Trustpilot figures themselves.

Court dockets naming Javvy / Javy Coffee Company

A CourtListener search for the company name (checked 2026-09-30) returned three federal dockets, listed briefly here; the case table on this page gives the detail for each. Statements about the two consumer-side cases are allegations or docket entries, not findings.

  • Nelson v. Javy Coffee Company (D.S.C. No. 2:26-cv-01650): a putative class action under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act alleging unwanted marketing text messages; docket entry 12, a "Stipulation of Dismissal," is dated July 20, 2026.
  • Osborn v. Javvy Coffee Company (D. Ariz. No. 3:25-cv-08218): Justia lists the nature of suit as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act; the plaintiff filed a notice of voluntary dismissal on March 18, 2026 and the case was terminated on March 19, 2026.
  • Javo Beverage Company, Inc. v. Javy Coffee Company and Javy Coffee LLC (D. Del. No. 1:22-cv-00547): a trademark case between two coffee companies, not a consumer claim; dismissed with prejudice by stipulation in June 2024.

Regulators. No openFDA food-enforcement record matching "Javy," "Javvy" or "Javy Coffee" as the recalling firm was returned in the name searches performed on September 30, 2026. Two sources were not checked: the FDA warning-letters page and the FTC site search did not return usable results, so FDA warning letters and FTC actions remain unchecked. Web searches and CourtListener were also used on 2026-09-30, and no state attorney general action, National Advertising Division decision or labeling or advertising class action naming the company was identified in those results. This is a scoped finding, not a statement that no such matter exists.

Is Javvy Coffee Legitimate?

Javvy Coffee sells coffee products through javvycoffee.com, and its Terms of Sale name Javvy Coffee Company (1318 N. Main St #1101, Summerville, SC 29483) as the site's owner. The USPTO shows the JAVVY word mark registered on Nov. 25, 2025 to "JAVY COFFEE COMPANY," a Delaware corporation at the same address; how that owner and the other records in the background section relate to each other is not established here. The BBB and Trustpilot records are reported in the complaint-record section, each on its own terms and without combining them. Javvy's own pages state different cancellation cutoffs, refund wording and shipping times for the same subscription service, which is why this page quotes each one. Court dockets name the company in a 2026 TCPA class action (a stipulation of dismissal is on the docket), a 2025–2026 Arizona case ended by voluntary dismissal, and a 2022–2024 trademark case that ended in a dismissal with prejudice. The regulator checks made on 2026-09-30 are described in the litigation section above, including the two that could not be completed. This page assigns the company no rating or label; the records above are reported so readers can weigh them.

Nelson v. Javy Coffee Company
Docket No. 2:26-cv-01650-RMG
U.S. District Court, D. South Carolina (Charleston Division)FiledFiled — no final outcome recorded

A putative nationwide class action under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA; Justia lists the cause of action as 47 U.S.C. § 227). The complaint alleges that the plaintiff, a Michigan resident whose number had been on the National Do Not Call Registry since February 3, 2026, received "at least twenty-six text messages from short code number 71319" in March and April 2026 advertising the company's coffee products without his consent, and describes the defendant as a Delaware-registered company headquartered in Summerville, South Carolina. These are the plaintiff's allegations. The defendant answered on June 10, 2026, and the scheduling order is dated June 15, 2026. CourtListener's docket, checked on 2026-09-30, shows entry 12, "Stipulation of Dismissal," dated July 20, 2026, as the last filing; the document itself was not available there, so its terms and whether the dismissal is with or without prejudice are not verified, and no order of dismissal appears on the docket copy.

Osborn v. Javvy Coffee Company
Docket No. 3:25-cv-08218
U.S. District Court, D. ArizonaDismissedDismissed

Justia's copy of the docket (last retrieved by Justia on March 19, 2026) lists the plaintiff as Christie Osborn, the nature of suit as "Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)," the cause of action as "47 U.S.C. § 227 Restrictions of Use of Telephone Equipment," and a jury demand by the plaintiff. The docket lists a complaint, service executed October 28, 2025, and stipulated extensions of time to answer. The plaintiff filed a Notice of Voluntary Dismissal on March 18, 2026 (Doc. 15), and a minute order on March 19, 2026 (Doc. 16) reads: "Pursuant to Plaintiff's Notice of Voluntary Dismissal, (Doc. #15), Civil Case Terminated." The complaint text was not read for this page, so the plaintiff's allegations are not described beyond that classification, and the docket text does not say whether the dismissal was with or without prejudice.

Javo Beverage Company, Inc. v. Javy Coffee Company and Javy Coffee LLC
Docket No. 1:22-cv-00547-RGA
U.S. District Court, D. Delaware

A trademark-infringement case between two coffee companies (the docket's cause of action is 15 U.S.C. § 1114); it is not a consumer claim. On June 17, 2024 the parties stipulated to "the dismissal with prejudice of their respective claims in this action. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorneys' fees." The court so-ordered the stipulation on June 18, 2024 and terminated the case.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I cancel, skip or pause a Javvy Coffee subscription?

Javvy's Help Center says: "You can easily cancel your subscription by visiting the customer portal. Once you have logged in simply click Manage Subscriptions from the right hand side of the page." The portal page shows an email field and a "Send Login Code" button. The Terms of Sale also say a subscription can be cancelled "by emailing customer support at [email protected]." To skip, the Help Center says: "You can skip the next order on your subscription in our customer portal and selecting 'Manage Subscriptions' from there you will be able to change your frequency or skip a shipment!" Its subscription-benefits article says a subscriber can "pause or cancel your subscription at any time using our customer portal." Deadlines are worded differently on different Javvy pages; see the next question.

What is the deadline to cancel before the next Javvy charge?

Javvy's pages state different cutoffs. Terms of Sale: "you must cancel your subscription three days prior to your next billing date in order to not receive your next scheduled order," and subscriptions bill "every thirty (30) days." Refund Policy: "cancellations must be made before your payment method is charged." Subscribe & Save page: "Once an order has been processed by our warehouse, we're unable to cancel it," but "you can update or cancel your subscription anytime by logging into your account." The older help-center site (help.javycoffee.com) says subscribers "must do so before the charge is processed." The pages checked on 2026-09-30 do not say which wording controls, so a customer may wish to cancel well ahead of the renewal date and keep the confirmation.

What is Javvy Coffee's refund policy?

The Refund Policy says: "If you're not completely satisfied with your first order, we offer a 100% money-back guarantee within 30 days of delivery," requested through the contact form, and that for "subscription renewals and repeat orders… Once your payment is processed and the order is in progress at our warehouse, it will not be eligible for a refund." Approved refunds are returned "within 5–10 business days." Other Javvy pages word parts of this differently (shipping-fee refunds, international orders, sale items); the first section of this page sets the quotes side by side.

What if my Javvy order is lost, marked delivered, or wrong?

For a package marked delivered but not found, Javvy's Help Center suggests checking all delivery locations, waiting one to three days, and contacting the local post office; "If you have still been unsuccessful in getting your package after 7 days of the tracking information showing as delivered, please reach out to us using the contact form." For a problem with an order it asks customers to "reach out within 15 days of receiving your order." The Terms of Sale say carrier delivery confirmation "is deemed sufficient proof of delivery to the card holder."

How do I contact Javvy Coffee customer service?

Javvy's Help Center says: "You can send our team a message by visiting the contact form at the bottom of this page! Our team typically replies within 48 hours Monday - Friday." The Terms of Sale and Privacy Policy list [email protected], and the Privacy Policy gives a mailing address of 1318 N. Main St #1101, Summerville, SC 29483. Account and subscription changes are made in the customer portal at secure.javvycoffee.com.

Is Javvy Coffee the same as Javy Coffee?

Javvy's Help Center article "Are you Javvy now?" says: "We are Javvy! We've added an extra V to our logo but we are still the same at our core." The domain javycoffee.com redirects to javvycoffee.com as of 2026-09-30, and the USPTO lists the JAVVY trademark owner as "JAVY COFFEE COMPANY." The Help Center also cautions: "there is only one JAVVY. Only this JAVVY website is able to assist you in managing your JAVVY order or subscription."

Do Javvy's terms require arbitration?

The Terms of Sale say disputes about the terms, the privacy policy, advertising or marketing practices, or products "shall be submitted to binding, final, and confidential arbitration before a single arbitrator administered by the American Arbitration Association" under its consumer rules, applying South Carolina substantive law where consistent with the Federal Arbitration Act, with a waiver of class actions. The clause says a customer "may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of the date that you purchased" by letter to Javvy Coffee Company, Attn. Legal Department, 1318 N. Main St #1101, Summerville, SC 29483, stating name, product and intent to opt out. Whether the clause is enforceable in a particular dispute is a legal question this page does not address.

How do I stop Javvy text messages?

Javvy's Privacy Policy says to "reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any mobile message from Javvy Coffee" (policy last updated December 10, 2025). Two TCPA suits naming the company are described in the court section of this page; they are allegations, and both dockets show dismissal filings.

What privacy requests does Javvy's Privacy Policy describe?

The Privacy Policy says that, "Where applicable based on privacy laws in your jurisdiction," the rights a customer may request include the rights to know, delete and correct information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to withdraw consent. Requests go to [email protected] or the company's "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" page. The policy says Javvy may need to verify identity, allows an authorized agent, and lets a customer appeal a decision by email with the subject line "Data Access Request Appeal"; after that it points to the customer's state Attorney General.
