BBB. The BBB profile for Inspire Uplift LLC (Doral, FL) shows a rating of F and states the business is not BBB accredited. The reasons BBB gives for the rating include "Failure to respond to 9 complaint(s) filed against business" and "28 complaint(s) filed against business that were not resolved," along with the overall number of complaints filed. BBB lists 265 complaints in the last 3 years, 114 of them in the last 12 months, and customer reviews averaging 1.04 out of 5 from 112 reviews.

Trustpilot. The Trustpilot page for inspireuplift.com shows a TrustScore of 4.6 from 15,559 reviews, and the profile is claimed by the company. Trustpilot also displays a notice that the company has not invited customers recently, so the reviews may not be representative.

BBB complaints are formal disputes that BBB forwards to the business; Trustpilot reviews are open star ratings.

Inspire Uplift order problems: who to contact, return windows and refunds

Who sells your item. Inspire Uplift says in its Terms of Sale (§2) that products may be sold by Inspire Uplift directly or by independent third-party sellers. For third-party items, "the applicable third-party seller is the seller of record" and Inspire Uplift "acts solely as a platform facilitating the transaction."

Step 1: ask the seller. The Returns and Exchanges page says each seller on Inspire Uplift "manages their own orders, and makes decisions about cancellations, refunds, and returns." The Terms recommend contacting the seller first through your order page. The Returns page adds that once you request a return, the seller should get back to you within 3 business days.

Step 2: ask Inspire Uplift to step in. The Returns page lists these reasons to ask for help: the seller has not responded after 3-5 business days, the two of you cannot resolve the issue, you received no return label, or a refund was not processed after the return was delivered. The page calls this opening a case with Inspire Uplift. Its Purchase Protection program for qualifying orders gives "a full refund if your order never arrives, arrives damaged, or isn't as described."

Contacts: live chat (24/7 on the website), [email protected] (include the order number), or 1-877-780-2973 (the Returns page lists Mon-Fri, 9am-10pm EST).

Two different 14-day windows. The Terms of Sale (§9) say: "Returns must be requested within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date your package is delivered, as confirmed by the shipping carrier." The Returns and Exchanges page says you can request a return "typically within 14 days of your purchase."

The two pages count from different dates, so request the return as early as you can and keep the delivery confirmation.

Return conditions (Terms §9). All returns need prior approval from support before anything is shipped back. Items must be "unused, unopened, and in their original condition with all original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories." The Terms list these restricted return categories: beauty, personal care, hair removal and health products; women's intimate apparel and undergarments; eyewear, jewelry and watches; handmade items crafted by individual sellers; print-on-demand products made to order; and custom or personalized items. For a defective or not-as-described item, the Terms ask you to contact support "immediately" with the order number, a description and clear photos or video; Inspire Uplift says it will work with the seller on a resolution that "may include a replacement or a refund."

Shipping (Terms §8). Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates: "Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed," and the Terms say Inspire Uplift is not liable for delays. Risk of loss and title pass to you "upon delivery to the carrier."

Perks membership: $4.97 per month, auto-renewal and how to cancel

What Perks is. Terms of Sale §6(a) describe Inspire Uplift Perks as "a paid subscription service" with benefits that include free shipping on all orders, 2% cashback on all purchases, package protection and priority customer support.

Trial and price. §6(b): "Unless you cancel before the end of the free trial period, your Membership will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription at the then-current monthly rate (currently $4.97 per month)."

Renewal and cancelling. §6(c) says the membership renews for another month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the next scheduled billing date. To cancel, log in to your account and cancel the membership before that date, or write to [email protected]. Keep the cancellation confirmation or your sent email.

Refunds. §6(d): "Membership fees are generally non-refundable," and no partial refund is issued for remaining days. If you believe you were enrolled in Perks without authorization or were charged in error, the Terms say to write to [email protected] and Inspire Uplift "will cancel the Membership and process a refund as appropriate."

Other subscriptions at checkout. §6(e) covers subscription offers from third-party service providers ("such as ShipmentsFree") that may appear at checkout. Read the terms of any such offer before accepting it.

Dispute options outside the company

Card chargeback. If you paid by credit card and the item never arrived or was not as described, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer. The FTC explains that a billing-error dispute must reach the issuer in writing "within 60 days after the first bill with the error was sent to you"; the issuer must acknowledge it in writing within 30 days and resolve it within 90 days, and while it investigates you may withhold payment of the disputed amount and related charges but must pay the rest of the bill. Send the letter to the billing-error address on your statement, with the order number and copies of your messages to the seller and to Inspire Uplift. Debit cards and payment apps follow different rules; ask your bank or the payment service for its deadline.

More on regulatorsShow less

FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule. This federal rule applies to goods ordered online. If a seller states no shipping time, it must have a reasonable basis to expect to ship within 30 days of a properly completed order. If it cannot ship on time, it must offer you, without waiting for you to ask, the choice to accept the delay or cancel and receive a prompt refund (16 CFR Part 435).

Where to report. Because Inspire Uplift gives a Miami, Florida address, Florida's consumer agencies are the natural state contacts: the Florida Attorney General (consumer hotline 1-866-966-7226, or 850-414-3990 from outside Florida; complaint form at MyFloridaLegal.com) and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the state's consumer complaint clearinghouse (1-800-HELP-FLA, 1-800-435-7352; complaint form at fdacs.gov). You can also report to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, to your own state's attorney general, and to BBB through the Inspire Uplift LLC profile, which forwards complaints to the business. Buyers outside the US can contact their card issuer and their own country's consumer protection agency.

Small claims court. The arbitration clause (§16) has a small-claims carve-out, so a claim within a small-claims court's limit can be filed there instead. In Florida, small claims court handles claims of up to $8,000, not counting costs, interest and attorney's fees.

Arbitration and your 30-day opt-out. Terms §16 provide for binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules, with hearings in Miami-Dade County, Florida "or at another mutually agreed location," and include a class action waiver and a jury waiver. For claims of $10,000 or less, you may choose a documents-only, telephone or video, or in-person hearing. You may opt out by written notice to Inspire Uplift, Attn. Legal Department, 5335 NW 87th Ave C109 Ste #388, Miami, FL 33178, sent "within thirty (30) days of your first purchase through the Website," stating your name, mailing address, email address and that you wish to opt out. If your first purchase was more than 30 days ago, that window has closed. §17: the Terms are governed by Florida law.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the seller when I order on Inspire Uplift?

It depends on the item. The Terms of Sale (§2) say Inspire Uplift is the seller of record for products it sells directly, and the independent third-party seller is the seller of record for third-party items, with Inspire Uplift acting as the platform. The Terms recommend contacting the seller first through your order page.

How long do I have to return an Inspire Uplift order?

The Terms of Sale (§9) say returns must be requested within 14 calendar days from the date the package is delivered. The Returns and Exchanges page says "typically within 14 days of your purchase." Because the two count from different dates, request the return as soon as possible.

When does Inspire Uplift step in on a seller dispute?

Its Returns and Exchanges page lists a seller that has not responded after 3-5 business days, no resolution, no return label, or a refund not processed after the return was delivered. In those cases you can ask Inspire Uplift for help by opening a case; the page lists live chat, [email protected] and 1-877-780-2973 as contacts. Purchase Protection for qualifying orders gives a full refund if the order never arrives, arrives damaged or is not as described.

How do I cancel Inspire Uplift Perks?

Terms §6(c) say to log in to your account and cancel before the next scheduled billing date, or contact [email protected], and to cancel at least 24 hours before that date to avoid renewal. The monthly rate is currently $4.97 (§6(b)).

Can I get a refund for Inspire Uplift Perks?

Terms §6(d) say membership fees are generally non-refundable and no partial refund is issued for remaining days. If you were enrolled without authorization or charged in error, write to [email protected]; the Terms say the membership will be cancelled and a refund processed as appropriate.

Can I opt out of Inspire Uplift's arbitration clause?

Terms §16 allow it: send written notice to Inspire Uplift, Attn. Legal Department, 5335 NW 87th Ave C109 Ste #388, Miami, FL 33178, within 30 days of your first purchase through the website, with your name, mailing address, email address and a clear statement that you wish to opt out.

Can I dispute an Inspire Uplift charge with my card issuer?

For credit cards, the FTC says a billing-error dispute must reach the issuer in writing within 60 days after the first bill containing the error was sent. The issuer must acknowledge it in writing within 30 days and resolve it within 90 days. Debit cards and payment apps follow different rules, so ask your bank or payment service for its deadline.

Why do BBB and Trustpilot show different pictures of Inspire Uplift?

BBB shows an F rating, 265 complaints in the last 3 years and a 1.04 out of 5 average from 112 customer reviews. Trustpilot shows a TrustScore of 4.6 from 15,559 reviews and carries a notice that the company has not invited customers recently. They are separate platforms with separate rules: BBB counts formal complaints it forwards to the business, while Trustpilot collects open star reviews, so the figures cannot be combined.
