- Shutdown notice. The huxe.com home page carries a notice dated May 21, 2026 that begins "We've made the decision to wind down Huxe." It says the app was removed from the App Store and Play Store on May 21, 2026, that installed copies kept working for seven more days, that service ended on May 28, 2026 at 10AM Pacific Time, and that all user data would be "securely and permanently deleted" from the company's systems on May 29, 2026. The notice says nothing about subscriptions, refunds or data export.
- Cancelling and billing. The Terms (effective date shown: September 23, 2025) say "The App is currently free to download and use" and that the company reserves the right to introduce pricing in the future. They also say that if you bought through the App Store you "may also need to cancel any recurring subscriptions directly through Apple." The Terms contain no refund policy. Their App Store section says that if the App fails to conform to a warranty you may notify Apple and "Apple’s sole warranty obligation to you will be to refund to you the purchase price, if any, of the App"; the Terms list "sales, returns, refunds, cancellations" among the disputes covered by arbitration. Liability is capped at "THE GREATER OF (I) $100 OR (II) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO HUXE IN CONNECTION WITH THE APP IN THE THREE (3) MONTH PERIOD PRECEDING THIS APPLICABLE CLAIM".

If an App Store or Google Play charge related to Huxe appears on your statement, the store that billed you is the place to check it; this page did not verify that any Huxe charge was ever made.
- Privacy and deletion requests. The Privacy Policy (last updated September 23, 2025) lists [email protected] for updating information and for general questions, and says "Voice recordings and conversation transcripts are retained for up to 90 days after you close your account".

The home-page notice says all user data would be deleted on May 29, 2026. The Privacy Policy’s state-law rights list includes the right to "Request that we delete any personal information we have collected from you" and to "Export the personal information you have provided", and says analytics logs are retained for up to 12 months. This page cannot confirm from outside the company that deletion took place.
- Contact. huxe.com/contact lists [email protected], a Discord community and X, Instagram and LinkedIn pages. The Terms give [email protected] for official notices and a San Jose notice address for disputes. Whether these inboxes are still monitored after the shutdown is not stated by the company.
- Disputes. The Terms require a written Notice of Dispute and a 45-day resolution period before arbitration may begin, and contain an arbitration and class-action waiver. They also say "you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify" and "do not prevent you from bringing your Dispute to the attention of any federal, state, or local government agency". The Terms' introduction says you can opt out of arbitration "by following the instructions in that section", but no opt-out instructions appear in the Dispute Resolution section (checked 2026-10-21). Arbitration is administered by JAMS, takes place "in the county where you reside", and for damages claims of $5,000 or less Huxe pays the fees unless the arbitrator finds the claim frivolous or brought for an improper purpose.
- Outside routes. For a charge you do not recognise, your card issuer and the store that billed you (Apple or Google) are the first places to ask.
Who is behind Huxe
The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy name Huxe AI, Inc. as the operator of the Huxe service. The Terms give 1731 Technology Drive, Ste 685, San Jose, CA 95110 as the address for a Notice of Dispute and state that the Terms are governed by "California and United States law". This page did not verify the state of incorporation in a registry.

Apple deal. The European Commission's Digital Markets Act list of acquisitions (opened 2026-10-21) has an entry under Apple Inc. dated 09.06.2026 (June 9, 2026) that reads: "Apple Inc. (“Apple”) will have the right to make employment offers to and hire certain employees of Huxe AI, Inc. (“Huxe”) and receive a non-exclusive license to Huxe’s intellectual property rights. Huxe provides a mobile application that creates personalized audio content." The entry carries a date but does not label it; 9to5Mac (Marcus Mendes, October 9, 2026) says Apple informed the EU in June. 9to5Mac describes the arrangement as "not an outright acquisition of the company" but an "acqui-hire structure". The entry as published does not name the employees.
Timeline (press, not a registry). 9to5Mac reports that Raiza Martin left Google in December 2024 to found a new company, that Huxe launched on an invite-only basis in June 2025 and opened to everyone that September, alongside the announcement of a $4.6 million funding round. These dates come from 9to5Mac, not from a company filing.
