HF Sinclair Corporation files annual and quarterly reports with the SEC under CIK 0001915657 (10-K filed 2026-02-27; 10-Q filed 2026-07-30), lists its shares on the New York Stock Exchange under DINO, and gives a Dallas, Texas headquarters address that matches the BBB listing. The Sinclair Oil site names it as parent of the Sinclair brand and publishes customer-service contacts and DINOPAY terms naming HF Sinclair Corporation as the contracting party. The records on this page (BBB as displayed, no Trustpilot reviews, the SEC-disclosed environmental and exemption matters) are the documented items, and a problem at a particular station should first be raised with that station's operator and then with Sinclair customer service.

This site's archive holds no approved complaint about HF Sinclair or Sinclair Oil: a read-only search of approved posts for offender, title and text matches on 2026-10-20 returned only unrelated businesses and individuals with the Sinclair name, and none were linked. The CFPB complaint database does not apply to a fuel refiner, and no other external complaint counts were collected, so this page draws no conclusion from complaint volume.

Submit a ComplaintHF Sinclair complaints: where to take a problem
This page was checked on 2026-10-20. HF Sinclair Corporation is the Dallas-based parent that, per its 10-K, refines fuel and markets it under the Sinclair brand. Sinclair describes its gas stations as independent, so a problem at a pump or in a store may involve the station operator rather than HF Sinclair. Keep receipts, pump numbers, station address and the date.

- Disputes with the company: Terms section 14 contains a binding arbitration provision, a class action waiver and a jury trial waiver. It says either side may bring claims in small claims court, and that a user may opt out of the arbitration provision (not the jury trial and class action waivers) by a letter sent by U.S. mail within thirty days after accepting the Terms, addressed to Sinclair Oil LLC, 324 S. State Street, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT 84111, as the Terms state.

Section 14 also names the American Arbitration Association as the arbitration administrator and says Sinclair will not seek to recover its fees and costs from the user unless the claim is determined to be frivolous.
- Card questions and text messages: the Terms say questions about a payment card go to the card issuer, and that texts from the DINOPAY messaging program stop by sending STOP to 69525.
Environmental and regulatory matters in HF Sinclair's SEC filings
These items come from HF Sinclair's own SEC reports. They concern refinery operations, not consumer fuel sales, and they are the company's descriptions unless stated otherwise.
Puget Sound refinery. The 10-K (filed 2026-02-27) says HF Sinclair Puget Sound Refining LLC has been in discussions with the Northwest Clean Air Agency, the EPA and the Department of Justice about compliance with the Clean Air Act, the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act and related Washington rules at the Puget Sound refinery, which it acquired from Equilon Enterprises LLC (dba Shell Oil Products US) on November 1, 2021. It says the EPA issued a Notice of Violation on September 29, 2023 to the former owner and to HFS Puget Sound alleging violations of those laws and the Pollution Prevention Act, and that the agencies presented proposed injunctive relief terms on June 28 and July 15, 2024. The company presented a counteroffer on October 31, 2024. The Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (filed 2026-07-30) says the agencies responded in June 2026, and it says no penalties had been demanded and that it was too early to predict the outcome. An allegation in a Notice of Violation is not a finding.
Renewable Fuel Standard small refinery exemptions. The 10-K says the DC Circuit on July 26, 2024 vacated the EPA's denial of the company's exemption petitions and remanded them; on August 22, 2025 the EPA granted some petitions in whole or in part and denied others for the Woods Cross, Cheyenne, Casper and Parco refineries for compliance years 2019 to 2024; and on November 7, 2025 the EPA granted the Tulsa East petitions for 2023 and 2024. The 10-Q says the August 2025 decisions remain under challenge in the DC Circuit by the company, and that those cases have been consolidated with a separate challenge to the EPA's November 2025 grant of exemptions for the Tulsa East refinery, which the company is defending as an intervenor (the 10-K says the Renewable Fuels Association filed that challenge on December 11, 2025). The company's opening brief was filed in July 2026 and the EPA's response brief is due in November 2026. On April 7, 2026 the DC Circuit ruled in the company's favor on the Parco 2024 petition, vacating the EPA's denial and remanding it; the mandate issued April 24, 2026, and the 10-Q says that after the EPA did not issue a new decision within 90 days the company filed an emergency motion on July 24, 2026 seeking enforcement of the mandate or, alternatively, a writ of mandamus. The 10-Q states that each of these matters remains pending.
