Grüns Reviews, Complaints & Contacts
Grüns (Gruns Nutrition, Inc.) sells "greens" and multivitamin gummies in single-serving packs, mostly by a subscription that renews automatically (the home page shows a plan of 28 packs every 4 weeks). The company's current cancellation policy lets customers cancel, skip or change a delivery from their account until 11:59 p.m. ET on the day before renewal, and its refund policy gives a 30-day refund on a first order only. BBB accredits Gruns Nutrition, Inc. and lists consumer complaints against it. Consumer class actions filed since 2025 challenge label claims, most recently that allulose-sweetened gummies are labeled sugar-free; in May 2026 a federal judge granted the company's motion to dismiss a suit over the "comprehensive nutrition" claim, a case that remains open, and a suit over subscription disclosures was voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiffs in April 2026. In April 2026 Unilever announced an agreement to acquire the company.

Cancel or skip a subscription. Grüns' cancellation policy, last updated October 14, 2026, says: "You can cancel, skip, swap, or update your subscription at any time from your account page, or email us at [email protected] to request assistance."
More detailShow less
The steps it gives, on desktop and mobile alike: log in, then My Subscriptions, click Manage, select Next Order Date, Skip, or More, and choose Cancel at the top. A confirmation email follows.
Deadline. The policy says: "To avoid being charged for your next shipment, cancel or modify your subscription by 11:59 p.m. ET on the day before your renewal date." The renewal date is shown on the member homepage. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals only; it does not cancel an order already placed, and canceling one order does not cancel the subscription. A renewal order that has already been placed can be cancelled only by emailing [email protected] within 60 minutes, and the policy says the company "can't guarantee a cancellation". For problems with an order after it arrives, the policy refers customers to the refund policy and its 30-day money-back guarantee, which the refund policy limits to a customer's first order.
Who cancels a subscription. The refund policy page says: "We do not cancel subscriptions for customers.

We provide an always-available account portal where customers can manage their subscriptions with just a few easy steps." The cancellation policy page also gives [email protected] as the address for help with a subscription. The safest route is to cancel in the account portal yourself, keep the confirmation email, and email [email protected] only if the portal does not work.
Refund. The refund policy says: "We offer a 30-day refund policy for your first order" and "You have 30 days from the date of receiving your item to request a refund. This policy applies only to your initial purchase." Requests go through gruns.loopreturns.com or [email protected]. "You do not need to send the product back to us." Approved refunds go to the original payment method "within 10 business days"; the policy says to contact [email protected] if more than 15 business days pass after approval.

Sale items and gift cards cannot be returned, and Ü Snacks Shack merchandise is final sale except for damaged or defective items.
If you were charged after cancelling. Contact [email protected] with the order number and the cancellation confirmation. If the company does not fix it, dispute the charge with your card issuer. For a credit card, the Fair Credit Billing Act requires a written dispute that reaches the issuer's billing-inquiries address within 60 days after the first statement showing the charge was sent; the FTC publishes a sample letter.

Debit-card and PayPal charges follow different rules, so contact your bank or PayPal as soon as you see the charge. You can also file a BBB complaint, report to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov and contact your state attorney general.
Shipping, order changes, terms and where to escalate
- Shipping. The shipping policy says: "Most orders go out the same day if placed before 3pm ET"; later orders usually ship the next day, average delivery is 2-5 business days after shipping, and the company does not ship on weekends.
- Order changes. The cancellation policy asks for changes or cancellation requests within 60 minutes of placing an order; cancellations go to [email protected] and are not guaranteed, because orders move quickly once they reach the warehouse. The refund policy, by contrast, says the company does not cancel orders after they have been placed, so treat the 60-minute window as a best-effort request.
- Damaged or wrong items. The refund policy asks customers to "contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item" at [email protected].
- Exchanges. "We provide free exchanges with no handling fee, though price differences apply if exchanging for a higher-value product."
- Terms of Service. Section 18 (Governing Law) says the Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, and Section 20 (Contact Information) lists [email protected] for questions. The Terms page has 20 sections, none of them on arbitration.

The text-message sign-up notice on the site says that by providing a number you agree to automated marketing texts "and our Terms of Service (including arbitration)". The notice also says consent is not required to purchase, so you can buy without signing up for texts.
- Authorized sellers. The company's Authorized Resale Policy says resellers who break it are unauthorized and have no right to offer the brand's consumer warranty, and it bars resellers from selling on online marketplaces such as Amazon, Temu, eBay and Walmart without the company's written consent.
- Where to escalate. Start with [email protected] and keep the order number and any cancellation confirmation. For an unauthorized or repeat charge, dispute it in writing with your card issuer; for a credit card, the Fair Credit Billing Act requires the dispute to reach the issuer within 60 days after the first statement showing the charge was sent.

Debit-card and PayPal charges follow different rules, so contact your bank or PayPal as soon as you see the charge. You can also file a complaint on the company's BBB profile, report a billing or cancellation problem to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, and contact your state attorney general's consumer protection office. Report a side effect from a supplement to the FDA through MedWatch or the Safety Reporting Portal.
Lawsuits over labels and subscriptions
A complaint filed in court is a set of allegations, not a finding. The consumer cases on this page name Gruns Nutrition, Inc. as defendant.

"Comprehensive nutrition" advertising (S.D.N.Y., motion to dismiss granted; case open). Cavallaro-Kearins v. Grüns Nutrition, Inc. was filed June 13, 2025. As reported by VitalLaw, on May 19, 2026 Judge Lewis J. Liman granted the company's motion to dismiss. The court called a literal reading of the "comprehensive nutrition" statement "plainly hyperbolic" and held that the label, which lists the nutrients the gummies contain and lack, clarified any ambiguity. It dismissed the New York and California consumer-protection claims, dismissed the fraud and unjust enrichment claims with prejudice, and dismissed claims over advertisements aimed at GLP-1 medication users without prejudice, allowing a limited amendment of those claims only. The federal docket shows the case still open, with further motion papers filed in July 2026.
Subscription disclosure (C.D. Cal., voluntarily dismissed). In Sanchez v. Gruns Nutrition, Inc., which Truth in Advertising lists as alleging a failure to adequately disclose subscription terms, the plaintiffs filed a first amended complaint on March 6, 2026 and a notice of voluntary dismissal on April 23, 2026. The dismissal is with prejudice as to the two named plaintiffs' own claims and without prejudice as to the proposed class. No court ruled on the allegations.
"Sugar-free" labeling (pending). Truth in Advertising lists four suits, Grant (N.D. Cal.), Reilly (C.D. Cal.) and Ulberg (D.N.J.) filed in August 2026 and Velazquez (N.D. Ill.) filed in September 2026, as alleging that gummies marketed as sugar-free contain 6 to 9 grams of allulose per serving, and lists them as pending. Ulberg and Velazquez also name Unilever United States, Inc. According to Top Class Actions, the Ulberg plaintiffs argue that allulose is a sugar and that a sugar-free claim is allowed only below 0.5 grams of sugars per serving.
Fiber and niacin amounts (C.D. Cal.). Scott v. Gruns Nutrition, Inc., filed July 22, 2026, alleges that the Superfoods Greens Gummies contain less fiber and niacin than labeled; ClaimDepot reports that the complaint cites testing of 5.27 g of fiber and 14.6 mg of niacin per serving against label amounts of 6 g and 16 mg.
Case brought by the company. Gruns Nutrition, Inc. is the plaintiff in a case filed January 9, 2026 against It Girl Wellness LLC in the Northern District of California, a dispute between businesses.

FiledWhat Grüns sells and how the subscription works
Grüns sells chewable dietary-supplement gummies. Its main product is the Superfoods Greens Gummies, packaged as single-serving packs and sold as Grüns Adults and Grüns Kids; the company's site also lists Nütrops, Immün, Jüced and Müves. Nutrition Insight's report on the Unilever deal says the brand was founded in 2023 by Chad Janis, its founder and CEO, and that the gummies are sold in the US both directly to consumers and through retail.
Unilever. On April 9, 2026 Unilever announced an agreement to acquire Grüns. The announcement did not disclose the terms; at the time, Unilever said it expected the deal to close later in 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. Unilever United States, Inc. is named as a co-defendant in two sugar-free labeling suits filed in August and September 2026.

How the subscription works. The home page offers a subscription of 28 packs every 4 weeks, advertised with "Pause Or Cancel Any Time" and a "30-Day Money-Back Guarantee". The cancellation policy says the card on file is charged for each delivery and the subscription "renews automatically at the frequency you selected and the renewal price shown at checkout until you cancel. We'll email you before any price change."
Sugar content. The gummies come in a Low Sugar version, labeled 8 g added sugars, and a Sugar-Free version, labeled 0 g added sugars and sweetened with allulose; the sugar-free label is the subject of the lawsuits described on this page. Every page carries the standard notice that the statements "have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration" and that the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

What if Grüns charged me after I cancelled?
The cancellation policy says canceling a subscription does not cancel a renewal order that has already been placed; for that order, email [email protected] within 60 minutes, though cancellation is not guaranteed. Send the order number and your cancellation confirmation email. If the charge is not refunded, dispute it in writing with your card issuer: for a credit card, the dispute must reach the issuer within 60 days after the first statement showing the charge was sent. For a debit card or PayPal, contact your bank or PayPal as soon as you see the charge, since different rules apply.
How long does Grüns shipping take?
