Global Lending Services payments, titles, credit reporting and repossession: where to go (checked October 12, 2026)
Global Lending Services (GLS) says it buys retail installment contracts from car dealers and then services the loan; the dealer sells the vehicle and handles titling and registration. GLS's own pages list these routes for customers.
- Phone: Customer Care (866) 464-0269. The contact page lists Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-10:00 PM ET, Friday 8:00 AM-9:00 PM ET, Saturday 8:00 AM-2:00 PM ET, Sunday closed, with an online portal and telephone self-service "24X7".
- Online account: myglsloan.com (Enroll Now, or Guest Payment). The customers page says credit cards are "not accepted at this time" and that payments made after 7 pm Eastern "post the next business day".
- Pay by mail: Global Lending Services, P.O. Box 935538, Atlanta, GA 31193-5538, with the 10-digit account number on the check. The two GLS pages give different delivery lead times: the customers page says "Allow 7-10 business days to ensure payment is received on or before the due date", while the FAQ says "Please allow 5-7 business days for delivery". For overnight or certified mail the FAQ lists Lockbox Services Box #935538, Global Lending Services (GLS), 3585 Atlanta Ave., Hapeville, GA 30354. Correspondence and credit disputes go to P.O. Box 10437, Greenville, SC 29603 (Credit Disputes line: Attention: Credit Disputes).
- Payoff and title: the FAQ says the payoff balance is in the portal (Request Payoff tab) or by phone, and that the certificate of title or lien satisfaction is sent "after the payoff has been posted" in line with state rules; title documents or authorizations: [email protected].
- Total loss or theft claim: the FAQ says to call 1-866-464-0269 and have the insurance company, adjuster name and phone, claim number, date of loss, mileage, a police report or the insurer's statement of loss, and the vehicle's location available. GLS says the contract requires the customer to keep meeting obligations during the claim, and that it "will continue reporting to credit bureaus in alignment with the terms of the signed retail installment contract".
- Cancelling a vehicle service contract or GAP coverage: the FAQ says to contact GLS at 1-866-464-0269 and "request to speak with a Total Loss representative prior to doing this".
- Insurance and repair checks: the FAQ lists P.O. Box 4588, Carmel, IN 46082, fax 1-800-709-4817 and myinsuranceinfo.com for proof of insurance (comprehensive and collision with a maximum deductible of $1,000). For an insurance check covering repairable damage it asks that the endorsed check be mailed to Attn: Partial Loss, P.O. Box 10437, Greenville, SC 29603, and lists a repair-shop invoice ("an estimate is not sufficient"), proof of payment if applicable and pictures of the repaired vehicle as the documents GLS needs before it endorses and releases the check.
- Due date and third-party payments: the FAQ says a customer "may be eligible to request a change to your payment due date depending on the status of your account" (call the number above), and that a third party can pay through the website's Guest Pay option with the account number, the account's zip code and an email address.
If the problem is how the account appears on a credit report. The CFPB says fixing an error "generally means contacting both the credit reporting company and the company that provided the information"; start by disputing with Experian, Equifax or TransUnion in writing, and then dispute with the furnisher that reported it (CFPB page 'How do I dispute an error on my credit report?', last reviewed Sep 2, 2026). GLS lists a mailing address for credit disputes (above).
If the problem is not resolved. A complaint about a financial product can be submitted to the CFPB at consumerfinance.gov/complaint, which says it sends complaints to companies for response; you can also contact your state attorney general or the state regulator that licenses the lender. GLS's licensing page lists a Michigan regulatory loan licence and South Carolina supervised-lender certificates; check the licensing page for your state. The Michigan entry on that page gives the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services, P.O. Box 30220, Lansing, MI 48909, 877-999-6442.
Read your contract. GLS's FAQ says late-fee timing and amounts "are dependent on state guidelines and the terms of your contract". The arbitration clause on GLS's website appears under "Terms of Use – Electronic Statements through Mobile Wallet" (page marked "Last Updated 02-20-2024") and, by its own wording, covers claims "arising out of or relating to these terms of use" of that e-statement service; the website's general Terms and Conditions name Delaware law and contain no arbitration clause. Neither is a copy of your retail installment contract, so check the contract you signed with the dealer.

Other 2026 dockets returned by the same Justia search were not opened or confirmed for this page, so they are not listed. State regulators' enforcement databases were not searched exhaustively for this page.
Is Global Lending Services Legitimate?
Global Lending Services LLC lists NMLS ID 1089726, a Michigan Regulatory Loan License (RL0024570) and South Carolina lender certificates on its licensing page, and BBB lists it as accredited with an A+ rating and a business start of 2007 (BBB raw data). The licence numbers on this page come from GLS's own licensing page; they were not checked against NMLS Consumer Access or a state regulator's lookup. GLS operates through car dealers. The same public records show a high volume of complaints about credit reporting, collection and repossession, which are consumer allegations and not findings. Because GLS buys the contract from the dealer, the dealer, not GLS, sold the vehicle and set up titling and registration.
