- Cancel or change a plan. The Terms say that after your first weekly order you "may cancel or modify a subscription at any time online by managing your account in the app, at CookUnity.com, or by emailing us at [email protected]", and that amounts charged before the cancellation "will not be refunded".
- Cutoff. The Terms say CookUnity "has a strict cutoff for all modifications to orders, which is four to six days before your delivery day at noon", and that after that time cancellations and modifications are not allowed and the order cannot be refunded.

They add that the charge "is typically at noon, four to six days (when applicable) before your delivery, but can vary depending on other factors".
- Skip or pause. To avoid being charged for upcoming orders, the Terms say you "must pause prior to the date when you are to be charged for your next order" and skip deliveries shown as "upcoming" in your account.
- Auto-renewal. The Terms state: "All Plans are auto-renewed continuous subscription plans", and the weekly order is charged to the payment method on file (including taxes and delivery fees).
- Problem with a meal or delivery. Under "Credits and Refunds" the Terms say to contact [email protected] and "You must report your issues within 2-days of the meal being delivered." CookUnity says it will give "a full or partial credit or refund" depending on circumstances, reserves the final decision, and requires "the return or photo documentation" of the meal.

The Terms also say CookUnity "is not responsible for missing orders if there is confirmation of delivery by the carrier".
- Autopilot. The Terms say: "All Plans include an automated ordering feature (“Autopilot”). If you do not select your meals by your Plan’s weekly cutoff deadline, Autopilot will automatically populate and process an order for you."

- Credits when an account ends. The Terms say "Termination of your participation in the CookUnity Platform will result in the forfeiture of any credits allocated to your account as of the time of termination, other than credits allocated from a gift card or an advance payment by the customer."
- Disputes. The Terms contain an arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver. Before arbitration they require an informal dispute resolution conference: "To notify CookUnity that you intend to initiate an informal dispute resolution conference, email [email protected]." The forum named is "Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services (“JAMS”)", and claims may still go to "small claims court if your claims qualify". Under "Grouped arbitrations", if "50 or more claimants file demands for arbitration raising substantially similar disputes within 90 days of each other", they are administered in groups of up to 50. The opt-out notice goes to [email protected] "within 30 days after first becoming subject to this Arbitration Agreement"; governing law is New York. Read the current Terms before relying on this summary.
