(W.D.N.Y., 6:25-cv-6107): a putative securities class action first filed on February 18, 2025 by Macaria Meza against the company, its former President and CEO and its CFO. It asserts claims under Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Exchange Act over alleged misleading statements about, among other things, the strategy for the wine and spirits business. Low Lilly was appointed lead plaintiff on May 28, 2025. On July 17, 2025 Low and Meza filed an amended complaint which, per the 10-Q, alleges misstatements or omissions concerning, among other things, the prospects of the beer business and 'does not allege misstatements or omissions regarding our wine and spirits business'. The defendants moved to dismiss the amended complaint on September 17, 2025; the 10-Q says oral argument was held on July 22, 2026 and the motion remains pending. On July 31, 2026 the parties stipulated to Meza withdrawing as a named plaintiff and to the caption change.
