Comfrt Reviews, Complaints & Contacts
Comfrt is a US online seller of slightly weighted hoodies, sweatpants, loungewear, blankets and related items, operated by Comfrt LLC through comfrt.com. Its US Returns page offers exchanges or store credit and states that refunds are "Not offered at this time"; its Pre-Order Policy says the shipping date is an estimate and allows refunds in set cases. BBB rates the business F and does not accredit it, citing complaints the company did not answer; Trustpilot shows a 4.4 score across more than 12,000 reviews. Five consumer class actions filed in 2025 allege inflated reference prices, misleading sale banners or misleading promotional emails: two of them have since been dismissed (Fischer by joint stipulation, Saini voluntarily by the plaintiff) and three remain open; none has ended in a judgment against Comfrt. Two disability-access suits and trademark and copyright suits by other companies also name Comfrt. No published complaint reports are currently linked to this profile.

The website comfrt.com is operated by Comfrt LLC (Privacy Policy). Court complaints filed in 2025 place its principal place of business in Miami, Florida (Fischer, Pollard). The Fischer complaint of February 2025 calls it a Florida limited liability company; the Pollard and Martinez complaints of December 2025 describe a Delaware one, and Martinez says it reorganized under Delaware law on or about October 31, 2025. These are plaintiffs' descriptions, not statements by the company. BBB lists the business under Moreland, Georgia. The International Returns page sends returns to a Comfrt address at 3000 Rand Blvd, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. The store is hosted on Shopify, per the Terms of Service. The returns and pre-order pages send customer service requests to the web form at comfrt.com/content/contact.

What BBB and Trustpilot Show
BBB. BBB lists Comfrt in its Clothing category under Moreland, Georgia, and rates the business F. Comfrt is not BBB accredited. BBB shows 81 complaints in the last 3 years, 27 of them in the last 12 months, and gives failure to respond to 78 complaints as one of the reasons for the rating. The 20 customer reviews on the BBB page average 1 out of 5 stars.
Trustpilot. The comfrt.com page is claimed by the company and shows a score of 4.4 across 12,652 reviews, about 7,000 of them from the last 12 months. Trustpilot notes that Comfrt invites its customers to leave reviews and has not replied to negative reviews. Five-star reviews make up 84% of the total and one-star reviews 12%.
The two sources measure different things: BBB counts complaints filed with it, while Trustpilot collects reviews from customers, whom Comfrt invites to post them. Their figures are not added together.

Submit a ComplaintLate or Missing Order: What Comfrt's Policies Say
Processing and shipping times (Shipping Policy, USA). The policy says: "We aim to process orders placed before 11am PT (Mon-Fri) within 24 hours." Orders placed after 11am PT, or on weekends or holidays, "are processed the next business day, usually within 48 hours."
More detailShow less
It adds that "Shipping time frames are based on how long it takes the carrier to deliver. Processing time is not included in shipping time frames."
- Standard Shipping: "Estimated delivery: 3–6 business days"; free on orders of $99 and over, otherwise $9.95.
- Express Shipping (2-Day): "Estimated delivery: 2 business days" after the order leaves the warehouse; $15.95. The policy says USA PO Boxes are "Currently not supported for Express Shipping."
You are emailed a tracking link when the order ships; the order-tracking page is at comfrt.com/content/tracking and asks for your order number.
Pre-orders (Pre-Order Policy). You are charged at the time of purchase. The shipping date shown on the product page and in the confirmation email "is an estimate, and is not a guaranteed date of delivery or receipt" and is "subject to change based on production, supplier availability, or other unforeseen circumstances." The policy also says:
- "Should an item or items not be shipped within 14 days after the original estimated shipment date, you may request a cancellation of the affected item(s) for a refund to your original method of payment by filling out our Contact Form."
- If you cancel because of a delay, or Comfrt cancels, "you will receive a full refund to your original payment method. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation."
- Within 15 minutes of checkout you can change your email or shipping address or cancel the order; the policy says a card refund can take up to 7 business days to appear, and gift card purchases go back to the gift card within 24 hours. After that window, "you have 7 days from the date the order was placed to request a refund on your pre-order," through the Contact Form.
- Comfrt can cancel delayed pre-orders at any time, and if it cannot fulfill an order, the policy says a full refund is processed automatically.
- Comfrt "will provide updates via email" about pre-order status, and "is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from delays in shipment."
What to do. Check the tracking page, then use the contact form at comfrt.com/content/contact with your order number. For a pre-order that has passed its estimated date by more than 14 days, ask for the cancellation and refund the policy describes and keep a copy of the request. The Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule covers most goods ordered online: if a seller cannot ship on time it "must seek the customer's consent to the delayed shipment" and offer the option to "cancel the buyer's order and receive a prompt refund," and a required refund is due "within seven working days after the order is cancelled." If the seller does not respond, see the dispute steps on this page.
US Returns, Exchanges and Store Credit
The US Returns page states three terms at the top: "Return Window: 30 days from delivery," "Return Options: Exchange or Store Credit" and "Refunds: Not offered at this time."
- Conditions: "Items must be in new condition — unworn, unwashed, and free of stains, pet hair, or scent." Tags and hygienic liners must be attached. Items returned in non-sellable condition "will not qualify for credit or exchange." Final Sale items are not accepted for return.
- Timing: once the return reaches the warehouse, "your exchange or store credit will be issued within 7 days." Store credit is a Comfrt Gift Card sent by email that "never expires."
- Cost: "There are no return shipping fees for any domestic returns." "Original shipping costs are non refundable."
- Exchanges: processed "at the discounted amount paid for each item"; if the requested item is out of stock "you'll automatically receive store credit"; orders beginning "EXC" can only be returned for a gift card.
- How: returns are "accepted only through our Returns Portal" using the order number and zip code; items sent outside that process "may be delayed or ineligible for exchange."
- Damaged or incorrect items: use the Contact page "within 5 days of delivery" with photos of the item, the packaging and the shipping label or SKU; "reports made after 5 days or without required images may not be approved," and resolutions are "at the sole discretion of Comfrt."
The page explains the no-refund choice this way: returned items "can't always be resold as new," so the company chose exchanges and store credit "without raising prices to cover the high cost of processing returns."
International orders. A separate International Returns page applies to non-US orders. It says eligible items "can be returned for a refund or store credit," with "14 days from delivery" listed for a refund to the original form of payment, and that international customers cover the return shipping cost. Check that page if the order shipped outside the United States.
If Comfrt Does Not Resolve It
- Write to the company first. Use the contact form at comfrt.com/content/contact and quote your order number. The Privacy Policy lists [email protected] only for privacy requests and says that inbox "is not monitored for order or customer service related inquiries."
- Card dispute. If you paid by credit card and the goods never arrived, or arrived wrong, damaged or not as described and Comfrt has not fixed it, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer: the Federal Trade Commission lists charges for things "you didn't accept or weren't delivered as agreed" among billing errors. Send the billing-error letter "so that it reaches the issuer within 60 days after the first bill with the error was sent to you," to the address for billing inquiries, and attach your order confirmation, photos and messages with Comfrt. Debit cards and payment apps have different rules, so ask the issuer.
- Arbitration clause. The Terms of Service section "Dispute Resolution – Mandatory Arbitration and Class Action Waiver" says disputes are submitted to binding arbitration before a single arbitrator administered by the American Arbitration Association under its consumer rules, and that the arbitrator "may not hear class or representative claims." It says: "You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of the date that you purchased a product or service through Comfrt's website by sending a letter to: Comfrt LLC Attn.
More detailShow less
Legal Department, [email protected]," stating your name, the product and your intent to opt out. The Terms give no postal address for this notice, only that email address, so send it there within the 30 days and keep a copy of the sent message. If you bought more than 30 days ago, that window has passed. The clause says the arbitrator follows Florida law to the extent consistent with the Federal Arbitration Act. It also carves out two exceptions: Comfrt may sue in Florida courts over its intellectual property, and representative claims for public injunctive relief under California consumer laws follow separate rules set out in the clause. The AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules it names include a small claims option (Rule R-9): a claim within a small claims court's limits can be taken to that court instead of arbitration.
- Government and BBB routes. You can report an order problem to your state attorney general or state consumer protection office (USA.gov lists them by state at usa.gov/state-consumer), to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, and to BBB by filing a complaint on the company's BBB profile. These reports do not replace a card dispute, which has its own deadline.

Comfrt sells hoodies, sweatpants, loungewear, blankets, pillows, kids' clothing, pet items, athleisure and accessories through comfrt.com. Its site describes the hoodies as "slightly weighted," and a footer disclaimer on the site says the hoodies are "not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment" and that claims about anxiety are "based on personal belief and experiences from our customers, and have not been proven or studied in clinical trials."
The website is operated by Comfrt LLC, per its Privacy Policy; the Terms of Service call the operator "COMFRT". It sells through comfrt.com and, per its Shipping Policy, ships worldwide. Two policies matter most when an order goes wrong: pre-orders carry an estimated, not guaranteed, shipping date, and US returns are exchanged or credited as a gift card rather than refunded.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does Comfrt shipping take?
The Shipping Policy gives an estimate of 3–6 business days for Standard Shipping (free over $99, otherwise $9.95) and 2 business days for Express ($15.95), counted after the order ships. Processing is separate: orders placed before 11am PT Monday to Friday are processed within 24 hours, others the next business day, usually within 48 hours.
Does Comfrt give refunds?
For US returns the company's Returns page says "Refunds: Not offered at this time" and offers an exchange or store credit as a Comfrt Gift Card within 30 days of delivery. Its Pre-Order Policy separately allows refunds in set cases, such as a pre-order that has not shipped within 14 days of the original estimated shipment date.
What happens if a Comfrt pre-order is late?
The Pre-Order Policy calls the shipping date an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date. If an item has not shipped within 14 days after the original estimated shipment date, the policy says you may request cancellation and a refund to the original payment method through the Contact Form, with refunds processed within 14 business days of the cancellation.
Can I cancel a Comfrt order?
The Pre-Order Policy lets you cancel, or change your email or shipping address, within 15 minutes of checkout; a card refund can take up to 7 business days to appear. After that, a pre-order can be refunded if you ask within 7 days of the order date through the contact form, or if it has not shipped 14 days after its estimated shipment date. The same page says all other, non-pre-order purchases are eligible for store credit only, so ask to cancel through the contact form as soon as possible.
How do I return a Comfrt item?
Start the return in the Returns Portal with your order number and zip code within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed and have tags attached; domestic return shipping is free, and the exchange or store credit is issued within 7 days of the warehouse receiving the item, per the US Returns page.
What if my Comfrt item arrives damaged or wrong?
The US Returns page says to fill out the Contact page form within 5 days of delivery with photos of the item, the packaging and the shipping label or SKU. It warns that reports made after 5 days or without required images may not be approved.
Does Comfrt's Terms of Service require arbitration?
The Terms of Service section "Dispute Resolution – Mandatory Arbitration and Class Action Waiver" requires binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, with a 30-day opt-out from the date of purchase. The opt-out notice goes to Comfrt LLC, Attn. Legal Department, at [email protected] (the Terms give no postal address) and must state your name, the product you bought and that you are opting out.
Who operates Comfrt?
The Privacy Policy says the site is operated by Comfrt LLC. Court complaints filed in 2025 place its principal place of business in Miami, Florida; an early complaint calls it a Florida limited liability company, and later ones describe a Delaware company, one saying it reorganized under Delaware law on or about October 31, 2025.
Are there lawsuits against Comfrt?
Federal dockets show five consumer class actions filed in 2025 over allegedly inflated reference prices, sales presented as limited-time, or misleading promotional email subject lines. Fischer was dismissed with prejudice in September 2025 by joint stipulation and Saini was voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiff in August 2026; Pollard, Martinez and Slavin remain open. Two Americans with Disabilities Act suits also named Comfrt: one in New York, dismissed in 2025 after the parties reported a settlement, and one in Minnesota that is open. Two other companies have open trademark and copyright suits. None of these cases has ended in a judgment against Comfrt.
How do I contact Comfrt about an order?
The Returns page directs customers to the contact form at comfrt.com/content/contact and says to include the order number. The Privacy Policy says [email protected] is not monitored for order or customer service inquiries.
