Almased complaints: how to return, cancel or get help

  • Return Policy. "You have 45 days from your purchase date to request a refund, replacement, or store credit." The page says the Satisfaction Guarantee "applies only to your first purchase made on Almased.com", that "Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is required", and that "All returns must be authorized in advance."
  • Refund timing and shipping. "Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after inspection, if a return is required," to the original payment method. The page says "Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless otherwise approved by Almased" and "Any return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount, if applicable." It adds that "Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable." Refunds are calculated on "the adjusted per-unit price paid at checkout"; "Promotional discounts, coupon codes, and applied credits are non-refundable," and the page says a Return Authorization request "does not automatically guarantee approval."
  • Damaged, defective or incorrect orders. The Return Policy says to contact [email protected] or call 1-877-256-2733 "within 45 days" with the order number, photos of the issue and a photo of the can bottom showing the lot number and expiration date. Advertising review (self-regulatory, not a regulator). In a decision summary dated 2021-09-16, the National Advertising Division (NAD) of BBB National Programs said Almased USA, Inc.'s claim that its program is "so safe that even people with diabetes can use it" was supported.
