I was looking for options to fix my credit report from errors etc. I found msi credit solutions online and decided to give them call. I spoke with Oliver Triana about possibly allowing there company to do credit repair. I told him how I was really skeptical because there was alot of scams out there and he assured me that they were not. He told me they needed to see my credit report in order to accept us into there credit program. He did not tell me they would pull a hard mortgage inquiry on my credit report. (as well as my husbands)
I was deciding if i wanted to use there company and found so many complaints online. Then a few weeks later I pulled my credit report and found a mortgage inquiry pulled from somemortgage company. I didn't apply for a home loan neither did I authorize anyone to pull that type of inquiry on our credit reports. He lied and made it seem like it would be a soft inquiry which would not effect our credit reports.
Our credit scores dropped and these so called soft inquires that are really hard inquires will stay on our credit report for 2 years.
How can a company called a credit repair solutions destroy your credit and then offer to clean your credit.
I called them once I found unauthorized hard inquires on my credit file. I was hung up on over 3 times. I left many voicemails for the Co-Owner Robert Neal. I finally got a lady to hear me out and she told me she was transferring me to the owner instead she transferred me to Oliver. T. I hung up the phone on him because he spoke such a smooth talk and for him to do this to me after I told him my life story I was pissed with him.
I am hoping I can save other people with bad credit do not use MSI CREDIT SOLUTIONS to repair your credit. Matter of fact repair your credit yourself. This company preys on people desperate with bad credit.
Everytime I spoke with this company the price for their program changed and it was all a bogus front to just get any amount out of me. They told me I could pay less to join there program but the process would take longer. Why would it take longer if I pay less? Because they try to make as much money as they can in a short time not fix your credit.
I filed a complaint with the FTC government agency and they informed me what they did was against the law.
The FCRA states no credit repair company is legally able to run or pull your credit report. They also state that no credit repair company is legally able to charge you a few up front before completing the work.
Do not pay this company hundreds of dollars up front without getting results because, it's a scam.
They claim " Oh we can charge up front because we are bonded".
No your butt is breaking the law and if more people reported you to the FTC your would be out of business.
My husbandalso filed a BBB complaint in hopes to get MSI to delete unauthorized hard inquires from our credit reports. They responded back and laughed at my husband's complaint. They don't take the complaints seriously.
Check them out on the Better Business Bureau website and you will see there score is a F.
Any company who has a score that low doesn't care about their customers.
I am taking the time to write this complaint because I want to warn you to stay away.
Thank God all I paid was $70 because I have read online so many people who were scammed for hundreds even thousands of dollars.
Order your credit reports, Type letters out and send them certified mail with return receipt. There are so many free credit repair tips available online. Do your homework and fix your own credit.
