3 weeks lead time and still not received

Ok, where to start... I've sent the box from US to KZ on October 16, here's the tracking number - 799207774094. I normally receive my parcels in 5 days, so Oct 23 it arrived to Frankfurt and stuck there.in a few days I called to our local office to ask what went wrong, the guy on the phone (Alexander) told me - the sender did not enclose information about Li-Ion batteries, so we sent them an email and he submitted the requested documents, so now you have only to wait. I asked how many days I have to wait, and why I did not have such issues with other courier companies like TNT, and received a genius reply - well, then use other couriers in future! Ok, fine.

I sent a mail to the sender and they confirmed that the form was faxed to Fedex on Oct 23. A few more days passed, I called to Fedex Germany and they asked to resend the form at nlmaster@fedex.com. Ok, done on Nov 6. And what - still the same, my box is in still in Frankfurt, and it's more than 3 weeks lead time!!!

I simply do not understand, even if they did not receive the form via fax (although our local guy confirmed that they did), why not contact the sender again? Why hold for 2 weeks without any request or notice??? Why do I overpay for so called service which I do not see?

And know what, I will follow this Alexander's advice and use other couriers in future.
