General Motors
Leaking intake manifold and head gaskets

Cars & Transport

I had to replace my intake maniford gasket on my 2000 Pontiac Montana with only 48,000 miles on it. This was on 2/10. On 12/17 my mechanic replaced the head gaskets do to a leak. Looks like Dex-Cool also eats head gaskets. Roughly $3600.00 later General Motors said too bad.
