General Motors
Intake Manifold Gasket

Cars & Transport

I just had to replace my lower intake manifold gasket. GM is aware of this problem. This is a costly repair.
This impacts, according to my mechanic, over 90% of these engines. I drive a 2002 Chevy Venture. I caught mine right away. If I hadn't the repairs would have been much more extensive.

Shame on GM for not taking care of this problem voluntarily.

There is a class-action lawsuit against GM right now. There is also one in Canada.
