General Motors Corporation
Faulty intake manifold gaskets

Cars & Transport

My 2003 Chevy Malibu got a catalytic converter code 420 triggering the check engine light. I also started losing antifreeze. I took my car to the mechanic and they showed me the leaking intake manifold gasket. The mechanic said this is a common problem that General Motors Corporation is refusing to recall.By the time this problem is discovered it has usually caused a chain of other problems that are costly to repair. I went online and found out that indeed this is a common problem that costs an average of $800.00 to repair. I will never buy a GM vehicle again.
