GM would not do right by us when faulty head and manifold gaskets failed in our Chevy Venture

Intake manifold gasket and head gasket went, both needed replaced on our 2003 Chevy Venture and we are out close to $2000. GM will not refund.
Seems to me if they knew about the faulty problem they should have done right by us. But they didn't.
