Plasma TV Repair Visit Cost $112 and Technician Phoned for Advice

On monday the april 6th called sears home service repair tech to get an appointment to fix my panasonic plasma tv TH-42PX60U. THEY FIXED THE APPOINTMENT FOR 8 TH APRIL AND SAID the tech will be there between 8am to 5 pm woww thats a very long wait time.

Any way he came at arround 3:30 pm evening and open the back cover of the tv and went outside and brought his cell phone and made a call which lasted for almost half an hour on which he enquired about the history of panasonic th-42px60u problems. And after that he took his laptop and i asked what happened he said the power supply is gone. I said will there be any problems with the fuses he said u can try replacing but they goes only when there is a problem in the board. You need to replace the power supply board. Any way the conclusion here is if the tech just need to ask the other tech about the history then why they send him to look at it. He estimated 600 dollars to repair it. I said i will buy a new one instead of repairing it.
And as the terms, regulations and policies of the sears technicians home service i paid $112.00 for just to come home and look at it.
