Sears Oven Repair Labor (Over) charge

I called Sears Home Repair to fix my oven. The repair, which took about 15 minutes to replace the oven element, cost $147 FOR THE LABOR. Sears will not tell you how much labor costs - and as it turns out it is a flat charge regardless of how little time the repair takes. They charge $75 just for the tech to figure out what is needed and if you do not like the estimate they give to do the repair, you're still into them for $75! If you go with the estimate - which in my case was $147 for the labor and $54 for the part (which Sears sells online for $39.99!) you will be grossly overcharged If you then call another company, you've already paid Sears $75 just for them to figure out what is wrong! DO NOT USE SEARS HOME REPAIR UNLESS YOU FIND OUT THE LABOR CHARGE BEFORE HAND - find a local company instead.

I also had a coupon for 10% off parts and labor, but the tech REFUSED to give me the discount on the part!
