ECM Waiting in the Florida HEAT with no A/C for 4 days

Buyer Beware!!!

We purchased a 4 ton Trane A/C in April in April it quit, called EMC and was not repaired until 5 days later! But it was covered under warranty but 5 days???

April it quit again. Tech came out and said it was leaking freon. It was leaking at the evaporator coil so it would be covered under Trane warranty. However, just the parts are covered and the service and labor would be $800!!! They would not schedule an appointment to repair until the parts came in, they would not order the parts until we gave them our credit card info, another 24hrs w/o AC in 90 degrees and they would not return numerous phone calls. When I finally got through they said that they "would call us and the parts are not in yet."

Now they have billed my cc but can't tell us when they will be here to do the work. Again, this is a two year old $4,000 A/C. We have been w/o A/C for 4 days and it will at least be another day in 90 degree weather.

The "manana" attitude is so frustrating to deal with. They act like they are doing us a big favor.

We will never give these SOBs another penny.
