XL20i XC95m - Trane XL20i and XC95m

My wife and I spent $16K for this Trane unit and even added a couple returns to make it more efficient. The installers in Indianapolis look at you like you are dumb when you ask them how they go about sizing one for your home. Don't ask, do I have enough vents, returns or is my return large enough. Don't talk CFMs as they don't even carry a CFM/air flow meter. Don't ask if two 8 inch feeds is enough for a certain room or how large the return box should be in the attic for all the 8 and 10 inch feeds running back to it.

We had it installed in 7 and had an expansion valve and 3 pounds of Puron put in it after the first winter, after the second winter leaks in the evaporator core in the basement and $1200 in labor. Thank someone thee coil was under warranty but the original installer held the labor warranty not Trane? Why in the heck does Trane allow their dealers to hold the labor warranty but Trane holds the parts warranties that stink anyways?

I guess every summer we can look forward to $1200 in service work as I am already looking for the next manufacturer...

DO NOT BUY A TRANE AS IT WILL STOP YOU. From eating, buying clothes, getting gas and etc.
