DISH doesn't care

I signed up for Dish Satellite TV service a few days ago. I took a day off work so I could be home when the technician came to install the system. That morning I got a call from the tech, he could not find my house. It turns out the person who took my order got my name, my street address, my town and my zip code wrong. The tech was in a town 10 hours away from me. He promised he would call right back with a solution to this problem. He never called. I started making a series of calls to Dish, was bumped from one person to the next with not one person who promised to return my call doing so. I finally reached a person who re-scheduled my set up time for early the next morning. I wanted to make sure of the time, so I called back again and the time was verified, the supervisor even called dispatch to make sure. Next morning, guess what, no one showed up. I spent the next 3 hours trying to call someone who cared. Finally, after getting nowhere, I cancelled the service. I had no apology for the deplorable service, the time I had taken off work, or the hours I had spent on the phone trying to fix this mess. They absolutely do not care. Once they have your agreement and you have signed your life away on a two year contract, you DO NOT MATTER TO THEM.
