It's been over a month and I still have no satellite service

We signed up for Dish television service in June. Our account number is 8255900222536382. Since that time we've had 1 repair in July when our receiver broke in July. We were without service for a week or so while we waited for a new one to arrive. On January 2nd, we have yet another issue. We don't have service. When I called to troubleshoot, the rep booked us an appointment for a service call. The appointment was scheduled for Wednesday 23rd. We could not believe that we we had to wait over 2 weeks to have someone service this. After complaining about the timeframe, I was able to get the service call for free and was credited service from 1/2/08- 1/23/08.

I took the morning off from work to wait for the tech between 8-12. At 12, I received a call from the dispatch that the tech was going to arrive after that time. I could not wait and was forced to reschedule. I had to wait another week for someone to come. They were expected to arrive between 12-5pm. I took another day to wait for the tech who didn't show up until 6. Between the hour of 5 and 6, I was on the phone with Dish's customer service who was of no help. When you call there, someone from India answers the phone who clearly is ready and can't carry a conversation outside of the computer generated text. When you need to fill a complaint with the someone higher up, they put you on hold for a while and come back and say no one is available. There is no one who can evidently help me with my issue. Once the tech showed up he decided that he couldn't fix it right away and needed to come back when it was light out. If he had come during the hours scheduled, it would have been. I am now one more week without television service since I had to book another appointment for a week later, February 7th. I think that this is totally ridiculous. There is no excuse for this type of service. We want our contract to end but they have told us that we must pay $199 to get out of it. Honestly, after missing 3 days of work and going through all this aggravation, I should not have to pay to get out of my contract.
