Not matching lower prices

We recently arranged a visit with hotels.com now after I examined the costs, they went a purchase on a single Holiday package. Every year, my spouse and that I visit the Caribbean and guide through Discountallinclusive or Expedia. We named Hotels.com to determine when they might recognize their purchase, and withhold the cash off the total amount of what we owed. They stated NO! Not their plan until it had been within twenty four hours of scheduling... We will NEVER guide through them again we've gotten discountallinclusive.com and Expedia.com to recognize their purchase costs usually, and something they could do to create us back, they'll, we'd have gone through them again-this year, only-we were likely to a resort they didn't guide through... Really dissatisfied, and that I am informing all my buddies exactly what a bad vacation website they are really... Travelers... Beware
