I do not understand how this company is so dysfunctional. Over a week ago I wanted to cancel my reservations with Travelocity. I spoke with the hotel and they were completely fine with it. I then spent over an hour being transferred / getting put on hold / explaining my situation for the 100th time. After an hour of nonsense on their part, they told me to call back in an hour to see if the hotel received the forms from them in order to completely cancel. I call back, they are completely unaware of my situation once again. I'm then transferred, put back on hold, transferred, hold, you get it. They finally give me my answer... The fax didn't go through. I call the hotel and they say all of their equipment is working and haven't received anything. Long story short, it is now reaching midnight when I finally get off the phone with the name of the last person I spoke with and a cancelation number. They told me I would receive my refund in 2-3 business days. It's been over a week, so not wanted to be put on hold for another minute, I email the customer service. They inform me that my account was serviced by Travelocity but there is no note of it being canceled. I'm outraged. After hours of working with their braindead employees, there is no note that I'm even getting a refund? I give them all the information I have and now I wait... I will never give them my business and will bad mouth them to anyone I have the chance to. Book straight through the hotel. If you enjoy spending your life listening to their terrible hold music and speaking with elementary level trained workers and not getting what you want, Travelocity is perfect for you.
