Uhaul damaged my vehicle and will not take responsibility

Uhaul website says to use a tow dolly for my type of car (make, model, year and engine size), we rented the recommended equipment, and when we tried to load my vehicle on it, it a) would not stay on as the bumper hit the front of the tow dolly (because the front of the dolly comes up so high) and b) the loops holding the straps on stick up to - also scraping paint off my bumper - and cracking it a little. My car is stock with no after market changes, however when I called Uhaul to discuss my problem, I was told it had to be me loading the trailer wrong because the website said my car would work with that trailer - I don't know what to say - either the dealer who gave me the trailer did not use a UHAUL recommended one, or the website is WRONG... But it is never a good idea to tell the customer (who has loaded many trailers) that they didn't know what they were doing and its their fault...
