Ripoff deception lies

When mailing a package from Mail Boxes Etc, I asked why my package seemed so expensive to send. The employee told me that this was what it cost to mail a package of this weight. He neglected to tell me that I was being charged nearly DOUBLE the post office cost, telling me instead that this outrageous price was because my package was heavier than I thought. He had me fill out some paperwork and then he proceeded to open the package in front of me in order to complete the paperwork. He packaged it back up himself and mailed it.

The package was returned to my home address days later because the employee did not have me fill out the correct paperwork. This was when I noticed that they charged me nearly double for what they sent it out for. I asked them why they were not upfront with me when I asked about the unusually high cost. They told me that I should have known about their overhead costs.

With the receipt, I then asked for a refund so I could send it out through the post office. They said no. So I asked them if they could at least overnight it because they had given me the wrong paperwork and now it would be late arriving. They refused. Fed up and having already paid for it, I had them just mail it again. My mistake.

The package was returned to me days later in PIECES. When I asked for an explanation, they told me I had packaged it up incorrectly when it was THEM who re-packaged it! They rudely asked me to leave the store when other customers were now watching what they had done to me.in the end, my buyer lost his merchandise, I had to pay him for it, and Mail Boxes Etc. Succeeded in ripping me off without retribution.
