United States Postal Service EXPRESS MAIL SENT AS PRIORITY

I recently paid for a package to be mailed to me Express $27.65 (overnight) from ALTADENA, CA to NYC, when I was waiting for my package on Saturday and realized it was not coming.

I called the USPS Customer service and they told me that my package has never been scanned in for shipping, as per the tracking info.

After speaking with the shipper, she assured me that the packaged was mailed out at 10am... Way before the 4pm deadline required for Express mailing.

I then called the ALTADENA post office to find where my package was, the clerk told me that he spoke to the mailman who covers that area and he accidently placed my express package as priority mail!

So I paid for $30 for Express mail and I have no idea when i'll receive my package because of a lackadaisical postal employee.

Now my package is somewhere in California and I want my money back. Let's see how that goes...
