Driver delivers to anyone who will sign... Company doesn't care... Real recipient works for Fedex

My wife order a lap top computer for our son [who lives in Memphis, we live near Nashville] from Circuit city who in turn hired Fedex to deliver. As my son was waiting in his apartment the driver says he delivered to someone who signed for it. Circuit city says its fedex's fault, fedex says it a Circuit city problem. Meanwhile we are out 800 dollars. Here is the funny part, my son works for Fedex air. The company refuses to look into the matter any further. The police say it is a civil matter and the credit card company says, 'well they got a signature... Not my son's mind you
