Contract Extended Two Years by Fine Print in Work Authorization

I cannot believe how a big company like this can grow from strength to strength when they have no customer service satisfaction at all. My problem is only minor compared to other people's, but I wanted to add to the numbers of dissatisfied customers in the hope that one day justice can be done.

I moved house last July, having been a customer with Direct TV for almost 2 years. I agreed to extend my contract for a year instead of paying the normal $200 moving fee, and I also decided to add some more TVs to the house and leased extra equipment, which I duly signed for when the installation was completed. I then started to see insurance I never requested added to my bill, and that took 3 months to sort out and have removed. I knew my contract was due up approximately in June this year (I wanted to switch to cable, as my phone and internet service was with brighthouse and as a package I would be paying less overall).

I spoke to an obnoxious guy called Dan who claimed to be a supervisor and told me matter-of-factly that in the small print on the work authorization I had automatically signed up for another 2 years when I signed for the installation. He was not interested in the fact that this had not been explained to me, or that I had been duped into extending a contract I didn't want, and said there was no way to cancel the agreement.

I asked for a copy of this agreement I had signed, which he assured me he would e-mail to me, but surprisingly it did not arrive.
