Scam - Offer free services then charge for them! Ripoff

I signed up with Dish Network in Dec. I was told that I had a one year contract over the phone. They said I need someone to sign to authorize dish installation at my house. My boyfriend (who did not live with me) signed his name even tho he was not on the contract and the installer allowed it.

A year later, I called to say that my contract is over and I don't want to continue service because I they don't have local channels. The lady told me that I signed for a 2 year agreement. I told her I want to see proof that I signed anything because I didn't even sign a 1 yr agreement, my boyfriend at the time authorized INSTALLATION. She claimed to be mailing me a copy of the contract that I signed and said I'd get it in 2 weeks.

3 weeks later I still hadn't received anything and I called the co. Asking for the status. They didn't even have a record where I called because the woman I spoke to didn't "note it." I spoke with Les Anderson in the Executive Office and he told me that if local channels is what I need then he will give me free local channels for 3 months along with free installation of a "Super dish" upgrade if I stay with the co. This was a $110 value. I accepted and felt happy with the resolution.

Then I started getting bills for the installation and service. I called Dish Network EIGHTEEN times to rectify the situation. Les even gave me his personal direct number but NEVER answered it when I called. The excuse for the $110 charge was that the discount is being denied by the executive office. So Dish Network offered free service then charged me for it! After about 6 weeks I threatened to call my lawyer and the charges magically disappeared, only after they tried to send me to collections for a bill I didn't owe!
