Package Delivered to Wrong House and Returned Without Notice

I recently bought an item on amazon.com, and they use FedEx to deliver. I was waiting for my package, only to find out it had already been delivered to the wrong house on the same street as mine. The people refused delivery, and the driver did not even look for the right house.

I called FedEx, and a lady told me she was sorry and that the package would be delivered the next day. She flat out lied to me. They returned the item to Amazon without even contacting me first, and then had no explanation of what happened. They basically told me it was not their problem and that they could not do anything except offer me free shipping on an item that already has free shipping.

I hope other people get a delivery driver who can read numbers, because if the driver cannot, you are out of luck and they do not care. I hope to never have to use FedEx again. They have a terrible system.
