Miscellaneous

Tmobile entered into a verbal contract with me for mobile service. They also sold me a new mobile phone with a warranty of one year which they were to honor
I was already a T Mobile customer dating back to 2000. When I opened my first account with T Mobile, it was in a corporate retail store. I provided Tmobile with a copy of my valid virginia drivers license and my US Passport. I also provided my social security number and address, date of birth. This was sufficient identification. If it was not then Tmobile would have said so at that time and other times when I presented the same identification. Tmobile refused to allow me access to internet sales and over the phone sales with their sales department making the comment that I had not answered a security question. They told me that I would need to go to a Tmobile store to pick up the new mobile phone. When I arrived at the corporated Tmobile store, I was told that my account was blocked and that I would need to call customer service. Customer service informed me while I was in the store that my account was not blocked. No employee was willing to verifiy that. I left without the new phone. I went home and called the executive offices in Washington State. The next day a guy from Tmobile called me and sent me an overnight shipping of the new phone. The phone lasted one week before it went out. I called Tmobile customer service who told me I would have to send the phone back to them first before I would be given a replacement. I called the exectutive office again and another phone was sent by this guy Aaron. I found out that they fired Aaron after this. The second phone failed after three weeks. I again asked customer service to replace the phone which was under warranty. They sent out a banged up used phone that did not even turn on. I sent that phone back immediately. They sent out a second banged up phone that did not turn on and I again sent that phone back.
I took my phone to a cell phone repair in new york and had it repaired. Next the customer service in the phillipines started to add charges to my account behind my back. When I called I was on the phone over six hours trying to get the charges taken off. They continued to do this for more than six months, month after month adding illegal charges to my account. Then they illegally changed the payment date on my account from the 10th of the month to the sixth of the month without telling me. On the 7th of the month I called customer service on my phone and discovered it was transfered to the collection department which informed me my account was overdue. I said no it was not and they continued to claim that they could change the agreement without my consent. Tmobile has violated every consumer law including the Fair Debt and Lending Act. I am organizing a group of people now to file a class action suit against them. I reported them to the Federal Communication Commission which is ignoring me.
I reported them to the Better Business Bureau which says they are not a member.
I sent a certified letter to Tmobile and insisted that they clean up their act.
They ignored me. I changed my mobile service to another company.
