I have written several times regarding the Charmed Memories bracelet and charms my son purchased for me. The bracelet was purchased for Mother's Day 2010 (May), and was guaranteed for workmanship for a year. The beginning of July I picked up my bracelet which I wore everyday and it just fell apart in the middle of the chain*! I was devastated and contacted Kays only to be told the warranty had expired! I asked to speak to someone in charge, and after 5 or 6 emails back and forth receiving the same response, I never did get contact information for someone that might actually care.

My son spent $149 on the bracelet alone, and has purchased several charms for it since then. One of the birthstone* gems fell out of one of them, and that fell into the same warranty as the bracelet so I was basically out of luck.

After several attempts, it sits in a bowl, unused and broken. I have shared this story with several people and online as much as possible. I will never shop at Kays again and will NOT accept a gift purchased from there, UNLESS they can replace the bracelet and the charm with the missing gem.

What ever happened to customer service? This was supposed to be an heirloom piece and it's useless.
